“I was in the area, googled Haitian food, went there, had stewed turkey- rice & peas. Loved it. Nice family owned place! I was very happy when I saw an older lady come walking out the back to go home. Probably the grandma cooking.“

“It’s hard for a place to get five stars, but the service took it over the top. Haitian businesses can be known for poor customer service, but everyone understood the importance of customer service. The bathroom was clean. The food was great. The hot sauce sold there is yummy. We all left feeling good. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed.“

“The food was excellent. I ordered the stewed goat with black rice it came with fried plantains And white sweet potato, I never knew that goat could be so tender. The food was seasoned well and the portions were large I recommend and I will be going back again“

“I had heard incredible things about this place and have been super intrigued especially because of the large Haitian community in Miami.All is to say, when I walked in I felt welcomed with open arms by other customers and the owner, Luna.This place is not fancy, but if taste and flavor is most important to you as it is for me, than this is a MUST TRY.I got the Stewed Turkey which was to die for. Luna also brought out a sample plate for me to try the fried Turkey which was out of this world. I can’t wait to come back soon!“

“I was craving some Haitian food and I stumbled upon this Food Truck on Google. I stopped by on the later side on Saturday night. I got the stewed conch (which was made to order), plantain, rice and pikliz. The plate also came with a small portion of beet salad and extra gravy.The portions are generous and the food was so yummy! I wasn't to crazy about the black rice however. I will definitely be back and can't wait to eat my leftovers! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!!“

“I come here all the time to get griot and rice beans with fried plantains and its always hot fresh and delicious. Plus i love that they give a good amount of griot for an affordable price compared to other Haitian restaurants. The restaurant itself is a hole in the wall but those are where you get the best food! Definitely recommend“

“Honestly, if I had to give it a score on a scale of 1 to 10, it would be a 9. The lady was super friendly, the food was freshly made and cooked well. I ordered the chicken special with French fries and everything was delicious, a very good price. The only thing I kind of complain about is that the wait times are long, but there was only one person doing everything, so it's understandable.“

“When it comes to getting authentic Haitian food, L'Auberge is a great place to go. Most people order take out. There is seating inside but if you go on a Sunday, then good luck. It gets very busy on Sundays after church (noon and beyond).“

“We wanted traditional Haitian/Caribbean food and this place has it. You know this when everyone in the place (except us) were from the Caribbean. Everything is so good! I had the Mixed Veggies, which is a kind of stew made with meat bones. My husband had the fried chicken. Both come with plantains and rice. We had the black rice, a first to us, and it’s really good.“

“The place is no longer Lumiere Restaurant. It's now call Fritay Kreole Restaurant. They serve Fry Food and other Haitian food. The food is great extraordinary exceptional. The environment is wonderful and pleasant to spend time with friends and family.“
