“Our favorite Haitian restaurant in Broward county. Parking is congested at times because of the drivers license place, mostly because they park in H&R's reserved parking. I Love ordering ahead online and it's always quickly ready and their food is well seasoned and fresh tasting ?“

“Found on accident, followed the aroma. Food was great. I got fried turkey and it was well seasoned and tender. My american husband who dislikes turkey tore it up. Not a fan of the macaroni salad but I prefer that than the withered salad you normally get from Haitian restaurants. I'll be trying other items cause if you make turkey that good you cant mess up anything else. Ty Bistro Creole.“
“The food here SLAP. I only gave 4/5 stars because I went an hour after they open and 75% of the menu was not ready. The macaroni gratiné musta came from Orlando cause he said it was being brought in and 2 hrs later it still wasn't there, but when I got my hands on it ouuu yassss baby it was good. Flavorful griot!! I made love to that plate lol. I was beyond happy!!! . Service was pretty quick. I can't wait for them to blossom and grow and have more locations cause them folks throw down in the kitchen like I do .“
“First time client recommended from a Instagram follower. So I went yesterday and when I walked to the truck nobody was at the window. Secondly I was asked if I was Haitian and if I eat that food which was rude and out of place. I love Caribbean food from all over . The young lady didn’t understand English well and there was no one that spoke English. I looked at the menu and ordered what I thought would be roughly around $18 with tax . But apparently for a meal of griot, rice and plantain it was $23 but says $16 on the menu. I asked for black rice and was told it’s $10 Being that I didn’t have anyone to speak Creole to explain why is it that amount. I just paid I was told it would take 15 minutes and it took 30. I don’t mind the wait if you say it can range from this to this . Ok , I understand the food is cooked to order . Then I called the number on the truck no answer not even a return call . The food is in boxes with paper which is very unappealing to me . Probably my first and last time visiting unfortunately. . Mr. Vert’s kitchen you should have someone working who not only knows how to speak English but understands also . Having a language barrier can cause lots of frustration which it did for me . Also try using to go plates where all the food is not separated.“
“First time coming here and feel lucky to have come across this spot. I had diri ak djon djon with legume. And the legume surprisingly had 3 different meat in it. For meat lovers, this is for you. I enjoyed my filling meal. Lighten up on the lwil, too much lwil“
“The fried pork (Grio) is always cooked to protection and the pikliz (Spicy Coleslaw) taste perfect with the rice, beans and pork together. Just an amazing combination, family run restaurants are the best in Oakland Park. Hands down best Hattian food in the area.“
“Easy to find and the lady that helped me was really nice. They do not have vegetarian options which is sad but they did have some seafood options for me. I tried their fish patty and black Haitian rice. Both were really good and I will be back to try other options.“
“I recently dined at Choublak and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu boasted an array of authentic Haitian dishes, each bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The griot was tender and flavorful, the legim was rich and hearty, and the pikliz added the perfect kick of spice. Every bite was leaving me eager to return for more. I highly recommend Choublak to anyone craving delicious Haitian cuisine!!!“
