“If you are looking to eat a nice healthy home cooked meal as a vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian, then this is the place for you. I love the food here it was sooooo tasty (hint the name), good and fulfilling you will be really satisfied. The owner and her daughters are amazing. I didn't know which meal I wanted to get but they had samples there to try so it made it easier to choose a dish. FYI everything was great and I will be going there again.“
“I'll update this review as I keep trying this place, but so far, 4 stars from me. I ordered through Grubhub and got the Griot meal. The rice and bean sauce was pretty good, and the meat was crispy outside and tender inside. It could use more flavor, but the gravy and pikliz more than made up for it.The reviews here are bad, but my order of Griot was good. Time will tell if they're consistent, and I'll check out other dishes.“
“I found this booth while I was exploring the international cuisine at the Farmer's market, and boy am I glad I found it. I'm a huge patty lover, whether it's empanada, dumpling, or Jamaican patty. So once I saw the words "Haitian patties", I knew I had to try one. At first I just bought one shrimp patty, but it was so delicious I had to go back and get another one and more for my family to try. They all liked them so much that now I buy them every couple of weeks. The spinach and shrimp are our personal favorites, and now spinach and mushroom for me! Thanks for the delicious patties, Nani's! Very highly recommended!“
“I visited this wonderful Haitian restaurant for the first time today. And OMG!!!! The food here reminds me of how amazingly delicious ?? food truly is. This place cooks with love , pure heart and soul. I ordered “ Goat in sauce, white rice and black beans” . After my first bite I screamed “Jesus”. The flavorful taste of the food touched my soul and remind me of home. I was so impressed with the place I ran back inside and asked for the cook - one in charge and kissed her all over , praised and thanked her for such a pleasant and freshly cooked meal. Everyone please come eat here, it is the BEST Haitian food I have had in south Florida!!!!!!“
“Found this new place on google. I’ve tried most of the Haitian restaurants in the area, but was in the mood to try a new spot. Very nice decor when you walk in and person who assisted me was very nice. Didn’t finish my food because I wanted to write this review first before continuing lol. This restaurant gets 2 thumbs up for me. Everything I bought was delicious…from the bean sauce to the rice and beans, fried plaintains, pikliz, and legume was very good. The beef in the legume was very seasoned which is something I was surprised by yet am appreciative for. I will come again so eager to try the other items. Also they have lunch specials which is a plus!“
“The food here SLAP. I only gave 4/5 stars because I went an hour after they open and 75% of the menu was not ready. The macaroni gratiné musta came from Orlando cause he said it was being brought in and 2 hrs later it still wasn't there, but when I got my hands on it ouuu yassss baby it was good. Flavorful griot!! I made love to that plate lol. I was beyond happy!!! . Service was pretty quick. I can't wait for them to blossom and grow and have more locations cause them folks throw down in the kitchen like I do .“
“The absolute BEST Haitian Patties in broward❗️Buttery, flaky, fresh & packed with a good amount of meat ! U won't be able to eat just one lol I also had their hot chocolate & lemonade both were amazing ! Felt like I was back in haiti when I was drinking them.. only things I didn't like was their spaghetti it was too spicy 4 me & their joumou soup is a miss“
“If you’re looking for “authentic” Haitian food you found the right place. CASH ONLY u can’t swipe anything here these people want green money! Food is amazing nothing under $10 so don’t come half steppin ? That rice and beans is the best I’ve ever tasted from a ?? Haitian restaurant.“
“I have been ordering from Pearl ever since I moved to South Florida 2 yrs ago. I even order catering for my parties 4 times now. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. Today is a very sad day for us as my stepdad passed away. After a long morning of making arrangements, I picked us up some lunch and let me tell you, my pate kode aran was the best I’ve had! My husband ate his chicken pate kode AND all of his dinner portion of boulette and rice, macaroni, plantain. My daughter devoured her griot lunch plate. We washed everything down with some passion fruit smoothies with milk. Dang it was so good! The ladies in the front are absolute dolls. The kitchen was backed up due to to-go orders. My Pattie’s and drinks took awhile and I could really see how concerned the cashier and food expeditor were. They apologized for the delay and kept going to the kitchen to see if it was ready. That meant so much to me since most places just ignore you and give you an attitude when you ask about the order. They are doing EVERYTHING right. Excellent food, excellent service, reasonable price, large portions. This is the only restaurant I will eat at.“
