“Stopped in for an iced coffee and left wanting to come back for dinner. The restaurant has such an authentic feel. it honestly felt like I was transported to Vietnam. The decor, atmosphere, and attention to detail create such a cozy experience. It seems to be family owned, and I loved seeing the daughter helping make my coffee. “The owner is a real jerk, vaping as he prepares the food. I supposedly went in to train as a cashier, only to get overwhelmed by duties as the cashier, taking orders on the phone, packing take-outs, handling Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, serving all the tables as a waitress for the whole place, cleaning them all up as a busperson, and bringing patio furniture outside. Good thing I didn't work at night or I'd have the added duties of also mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms as a janitor, and bringing in all the patio furniture. The owner calls it multi-tasking. I call it too cheap to hire more employees. It is insane to ask for so much from one person! As it is, he only pays minimum wage and all the credit card tips are kept by the owner himself! From here I have learned that I'll be leaving cash tips for wait staff in the future, since greedy owners like this feel they are entitled to keep all credit card tips. The place is a disgrace.“

“We had a great Saturday night at Yard House. Before going, I called the restaurant and spoke with a young lady who explained that reservations aren’t necessary for parties of fewer than eight. We decided to walk in, and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in about 10 minutes. Our waiter, Tony, was on point from start to finish attentive, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of.

We started with Mojitos, Moscow Mules, and Margaritas. The drinks were a little disappointing because they were light on the alcohol, but the food was excellent. The chips and guacamole were great, the Tuna Tartare was amazing, and the Rock Shrimp over the rice cake was really good. The Brussels sprouts were also a standout.

For our main courses, we had the glazed salmon, a 20-ounce bone-in ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and well prepared. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience the food and service were excellent, and Tony deserves a special shout-out for taking great care of us.“

I’m not sure if it’s the chef or the kitchen staff, but during my last visit I ordered shrimp as an appetizer and they were rubbery, and the pasta dish was too salty. On a positive note, the atmosphere is safe, clean, and very family-friendly. The waitstaff are excellent, and Cinthia in particular stands out. She is extremely, exceptionally attentive—truly going above and beyond with every customer. She is very communicative, always willing to answer questions, and consistently provides outstanding, five-star service. Couldn't decide on one, so tried the Nutella, chocolate, tiramisu, opera, caramel, strawberry roll.. the strawberry roll had the crunchy bits on top and with the soft cake, was great. This is mainly a take out place, I believe there are 1 or 2 tables onsite, hence the 3 stars on atmosphere.
There's always parking available, though is a busy strip mall.
Food is tasty, huge portions, fast preparation, always accurate.“
