Gigi's Music Café offers a great atmosphere with exceptional customer service and live music. The chicken wings and fried shrimp are notable menu items, with the BBQ glazed wings also receiving high praise. Other dishes like turkey wing, grits, cornbread, shrimp pasta, and chicken and grits may be hit or miss depending on personal preference. The café is wheelchair accessible and has low tops for seating. While there have been reports of slow service and underseasoned chicken, the vibe, especially on Friday nights during Latin night, is everything. The café also features wonderful live saxophone music that adds to the ambiance. It is a cute space, and the drum set converted into a light enhances its charm. Parking can be tricky, but it is located in the AMC shopping center, at the corner of the goodwill. Overall, Gigi's is a hidden gem in Sunrise and a potential venue for events, with fantastic drinks, attentive bartenders, and a memorable peach cobbler that has become a standard for dessert lovers.
