I was so looking forward to going to this restaurant. I was so disappointed. I got there at 4pm as this is the time the website says they open. We are yelling hello, through the restaurant nobody answers. Some other people come in and is doing the same thing. They find a girl in the office with headphones on, Music blasting. I asked her what time they open she states she don't know. Whatever time the chef gets here. I asked her does she have any idea. She State no. I informed her that I drove a long way to come here and they should change the time on the website. To Open anytime. I thought this place was the worst. Very upset about this. Terrible business practice. Don't waste your time.

Exceptional customer service. Great ambiance and music.The chicken wings and sauce was delicious. The fried shrimp were acceptable.I wasn't fond of the other dishes (fried fish, Yams, rolls, Mac & Cheese balls and Mac and cheese).I am very picky eater so try them for yourself.

Gigi's is a place to go to for entertainment, not the food. Only beer and wine served. The imitation cocktails made from wine were truly awful. We tried 2 different ones. The layout of the place is decent enough. Spacious. Went because a friend of mine was singing. Not recommended for dinner.

The taste of the food was very disappointing. They need to hire my mother and sister to run the kitchen. This place has a lot of potential, but they need a true soul food chef to make it come alive. My family could have this placed packed with people 24 hours a day. Gigi's just needs better tasting

The atmosphere is everything! The staff is incredibly helpful. Gigi's gets bonus points for being a wheelchair friendly establishment! Our new go to place! Hidden gem in Sunrise!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is wheelchair accessible and low tops are available for seating!

Ambiance was good. The menu was misleading as they have 2-3 different menus (depending on what site you search them on). They only offer a few dishes in the restaurant which was an immediate disappointment. The service is okay. The staff is not aware of the ingredients in the dishes which is a red flag. They try their best but you can tell that there is no true training. The soul rolls were another disappointment as they were tiny and just contained collard greens. They serve two different wings which one was breaded and the other is naked. They both were bland and lacked flavor. Eating the chicken was like eating bland flour. The shrimp looked good but were super salty. The mac and cheese looked promising but tasted like refrigerator. They have a bar but do not serve real cocktails. They serve a rum-like wine which has no discernible taste. At some point in time they may have been a great spot but I feel that they bait you with the online menu. Not a spot I would recommend. For the price you can find better. They receive a 3 star only because the servers look like they care and want to do a good job.

I was invited to attend a networking mixer hosted by YPN Urban League at Gigi’s music cafe’. This place is a cute hideaway that will get you in the mood to vibe after a long day. With their wine based cocktails you can get a well balanced drink without breaking the bank. The theme matches the name and highlights the classic Jazz and R&B legends we know and love. They provided preprepared light bites for the event and didn’t offer the option to purchase from there menu.
