My detailed experience: As I entered the store, I do the first thing most sane people do, check the prices. I looked up at the dangling menu like willem dafoe looked up at the sky in that one meme. Anxiety running laps in my mind, doubt slowly overcoming my body. I wasn’t just cautious, I was skeptical. However, I remembered my mother’s inspiring words, “I didn’t raise no wuss.” I pushed through and paid like the courageous man my mom raised me to be. Then it all changed. Nothing would have ever prepared me for the first bite. The sense of relief, glory, and accomplishment. My taste buds celebrating like they just scored a last-minute Word Cup final goal. The smore scoop alongside the cookies and cream scoop flowed in harmony, like two peas in a pod, with the crunch of the cone as the cherry on top. No regrets. “The owner is a real jerk, vaping as he prepares the food. I supposedly went in to train as a cashier, only to get overwhelmed by duties as the cashier, taking orders on the phone, packing take-outs, handling Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, serving all the tables as a waitress for the whole place, cleaning them all up as a busperson, and bringing patio furniture outside. Good thing I didn't work at night or I'd have the added duties of also mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms as a janitor, and bringing in all the patio furniture. The owner calls it multi-tasking. I call it too cheap to hire more employees. It is insane to ask for so much from one person! As it is, he only pays minimum wage and all the credit card tips are kept by the owner himself! From here I have learned that I'll be leaving cash tips for wait staff in the future, since greedy owners like this feel they are entitled to keep all credit card tips. The place is a disgrace.“

“We had a great Saturday night at Yard House. Before going, I called the restaurant and spoke with a young lady who explained that reservations aren’t necessary for parties of fewer than eight. We decided to walk in, and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in about 10 minutes. Our waiter, Tony, was on point from start to finish attentive, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of.

We started with Mojitos, Moscow Mules, and Margaritas. The drinks were a little disappointing because they were light on the alcohol, but the food was excellent. The chips and guacamole were great, the Tuna Tartare was amazing, and the Rock Shrimp over the rice cake was really good. The Brussels sprouts were also a standout.

For our main courses, we had the glazed salmon, a 20-ounce bone-in ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and well prepared. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience the food and service were excellent, and Tony deserves a special shout-out for taking great care of us.“

The decor of the restaurant is very Chinese traditional with vibrant red against gold colored decorations and smartly adorned tablecloths. “I normally don’t order food through Uber Eats or DoorDash, and I also don’t eat Chinese food very often… but today I decided to give this restaurant a try, and honestly, they completely exceeded my expectations.

The food arrived very hot and fresh, and the packaging was excellent. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. Everything tasted amazing, and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish.

“A ton of healthy, plant-based food! The people are quick to put together my salad. I often add avocado, which is a small, reasonable up-charge. There's almost never any wait at all. Parking is the only drawback. If I can't find a spot in a few minutes, there are always open spots out back. There just aren't any doors out back, so you have to walk around.“

I was in the mall with a friend and my friend insisted on going to this establishment and I had my doubts. I dare say better than chipotle, which is a quick go to for me, but if currito's is in the same sector my decision is already made.
