“This little neighborhood restaurant has been open for a few months, but it already feels like a neighborhood staple. The moment I walked in, the southern comfort warmth was immediate. Delf Juice Bar & Cafe is a family operation, and you feel it in every detail. Janet, the owner, was at the counter and she was a delight. She was juggling a couple of customers while effortlessly making suggestions and answering questions in English and Spanish. Before I even ordered, she handed me a sample of freshly squeezed juice with ginger — one of those sips that genuinely makes you feel alive.
I ordered the sandwich Cubano aka Cuban panini, and when it arrived, I was stopped in my tracks. The presentation was stunning — the perfectly placed platanitos standing upright, elegant and playful all at once. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality is what made my visit memorable. Finding a place where the owners genuinely show care about your experience is rare, and this family takes pride in it! I'll be back and bringing everyone I know.“

“I had such a great experience at The Soulful Steep. I won a free session in the salt room and it was incredibly relaxing, the perfect way to unwind. The 45-minute session was amazing, and I’ll definitely be back. Afterwards, I treated myself to a Happy Go Lucky watermelon drink and a slice of crumb cake. The drink was so refreshing, and the crumb cake was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The staff goes above and beyond and makes you feel right at home.“

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

If you're looking for a place with great sandwiches, Gili's Sub Shop Cafe is the spot! From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcomed; the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, cozy, and family-friendly. But what really makes you want to come back is the service—they were so kind to us!
As for the food, we ordered the pastrami sandwich, which was made fresh to order, and we loved it. It was absolutely delicious! But here is the real secret for flavor lovers: you have to try their ají (hot sauce). It is a total delight. What I liked most is that it has a super rich, balanced flavor; it has just the right amount of kick, allowing you to enjoy all the flavors together with the sandwich without overpowering your palate.

The taro bubble tea and mango smoothie were also spot on, with none of that powdery or syrupy taste I can’t stand. “MUST VISIT!!!! Our flight was delayed so we hung out here for a few hours and let me tell you it’s phenomenal! Sylvia is a sweetheart and the best way to describe the food and atmosphere is healing. “Stopped by Sol Cafe recently and it’s such a hidden gem! This locally owned spot just opened not long ago, and the owners are super sweet and welcoming — you can tell they really care about the place and their customers.

We ordered the Coca Amor crepes (strawberry, banana, chocolate, pistachio cream) and the Crepe Tatin (dulce de leche, caramelized apples, and crème anglaise), and both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and made to order — even the crepe batter is prepared fresh for each order, which makes the wait totally worth it. The crepes were perfectly thin, soft, and really flavorful, and the caramelized apples with dulce de leche were especially good.

For drinks, we tried the honey matcha, which was smooth and not overly sweet, and the refresher smoothie, a fusion of berries that was fresh and really refreshing.

“It doesn’t get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

I got 12 different flavors and they still had some flavors we didn't try this time. They were beautiful and tasted great! I went right when they opened on a Thursday, very polite. “I don't usually write reviews, however, this place is so good that I had to shout them out. The food not only taste fresh, but it is so fairly priced it's incredible. After my first visit in, I have been greeted by first name every single time. The breakfast burrito is amazing, the pitas are all so great, the portions are plenty, everything is just great. My only advice, when going for lunch, try to order online because they can get super busy and lunch takes a bit longer to come out, but that is because everyone keeps coming back for more!
