“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

“I don't usually write reviews, however, this place is so good that I had to shout them out. The food not only taste fresh, but it is so fairly priced it's incredible. After my first visit in, I have been greeted by first name every single time. The breakfast burrito is amazing, the pitas are all so great, the portions are plenty, everything is just great. My only advice, when going for lunch, try to order online because they can get super busy and lunch takes a bit longer to come out, but that is because everyone keeps coming back for more! “We dined at Village Café on Tuesday, March 14th and we had Liz and Angie as our waitresses, and both were very responsive and made several suggestions on the menu and answered all of our questions.
