“Really enjoyed this cafe! Exceptional coffee and nice, unique breakfast bites. They also have a good variety of baked goods. Plenty of indoor seating and a few high chairs are available. Paid parking lot up front, there are two small steps to enter the restaurant.“
“This was my first time here and I thoroughly enjoyed it there! The great service, delicious food, and the eclectic atmosphere was so nice!! We had the Chicken Panini and Waffle (with fruit on the side instead of on top), Avocado, and Scrambled eggs.“
“Absolutely love this place! The food is sooo good! The apricot croissant is to die for. One of the most delicious cappuccino I ever had. Everything is fresh, tasty and homemade. The owner is so nice and friendly. I always feel like I came home to my friend.“
“This Wells Coffee Co location is located in the heart of Ft Lauderdale across from Tarpon River Brewery. Its not open late but has street parking and a very small private parking lot. It boasts a cute outside front patio with tables and seating with shading. The inside is coffee type theme decor with couches and chairs. The staff seem attentive and friendly. They offer bags of coffee grinds or beans unsure which for sale near the register and a large easy to view hanging menus. For the area the pricing is reasonable. Just a place for a cup of Joe and a pastry and chill out. The bathroom is clean too.“
“Delicious coffee and a "small town feel" my dad was visiting for two weeks and by day 3 of going to Calusa the owner was able to start making his order as soon as he walked through the door. There's something about customer service that just makes things worth it. We love having Calusa in the neighborhood and will continue to support it!“
“Absolutely amazing! I came here from the cruise port and was so pleasantly surprised! Everything was amazing the staff was fantastic, especially Brenda who was so lovely and kind and offered us free samples with a smile! We definitely brought more just because of her! It’s great staff and great service that really makes a store top tier! Anytime I’m back in Fort Lauderdale I’d love to visit here again!“
“I just left this place no more than 15 mins ago. Their alfajores are so great that I'm taking a pause from work to leave this review. Coffee is very good too. And the great service with the smiles are very welcoming. They have one more fan.“
“Nice cozy cafe with a delightful menu of options. The ambiance is welcoming for a nice meet. The service was good and attentive. I had a yummy toast which was delicious with a nice Americano. We also enjoyed their gluten-free pancake. I would recommend and visit again for one of the nice sweets.“
“Vibesphere at a 10. Shoutout Max, Tori, and Scott for being such sweetie pies and helping us navigate the bounce luggage drop off. We tried the overnight oatmeal bowl, lavender latte, healing honey lemonade (AMAZING!!), and the pink dragon drink. Not only was service so delightful, the food was so good. A little pricey, but worth it for sure!!!! I will definitely be coming back here, despite not living here. I would fly myself out just to have another honey healing lemonade. Also the staff are super attractive - a major plus that is often overlooked in many google reviews. 1000/10 will be coming back — highly recommend!!“
“Went here for lunch with my brother after finding it on Google and we were not dissapointed! The atmosphere and decor is so beautiful and one of a kind. The Cafe was extremely clean and had abundant seating (3 different rooms!). The staff all seemed so nice and welcoming. The woman who took our order was so sweet! The food and drinks were delicious. I got the Iced Dragon Tea and the Venetian Avo Toast. Not exaggerating when I say both were probably the best I've had! I wish I could buy that tea by the gallon. My brother got the Churro Cold Brew and the 4 Cheese Please and he loved it! The portions were satisfying and you get more than what you pay for when it comes to quality and taste! They also had baked goods/empanadas and we regret not taking some to go.We wish we had known about this place sooner. It's such a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!“
“One of my favorite coffee shops in FTL! They have another location in Flagler village Good place to study! It's pretty quiet, has indoor&outdoor seating and accessible outlets. The coffee tastes yumm!!! I wish they had more snack/food options :(“
“Definitely a nice place to venture to! Enjoyed a refreshing Nitro Cold Brew and a nice chat with Taylor. The owner also took the time to share directions to the local river walk, which was super helpful! Great service, nice atmosphere, and amazing coffee. ?“
“Kung-fu Tea @kungfutea_ftl Ft.Lauderdale, FL I needed a pick me up and the S'mores Coffee Slush with Boba did the trick! Quick service, clean store. Have you been to Kung-fu Tea yet? #kungfutea #coffee #slush #smores #boba #pickmeup #broward #downtown #letsdrinkz #eatzwithsweetz #letseatz“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful family-owned restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that immediately made me feel at home. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the breakfast menu. The food was not only delicious but also prepared with obvious care and attention to detail. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and served with a touch of homemade charm that set it apart from typical restaurant fare. The breakfast options were diverse and catered to a range of tastes. Whether you're a fan of traditional breakfast fare or prefer something a bit more adventurous, this restaurant has something for everyone. In addition to the exceptional food, the service at this family-owned establishment was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing an excellent dining experience for their guests. It was clear that customer satisfaction was their top priority, and it showed in every aspect of my visit.Overall, my experience at this family-owned restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of delicious breakfast options, cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone in search of a special place to enjoy a delicious breakfast-lunch meal with loved ones.?“
“I love enjoying Cuban breakfast specialties when I can get them, so when visiting the Las Olas area and seeing this place very close, I went in for some empanadas for breakfast. They have croquettes, empanadas, savory pastries, and full breakfasts, including sandwiches, even Cubanos. On my visit, I opted for a spinach and a chicken empanada, a chorizo and cheese croquette, and a beef pastry. I also ordered their spicy sauce, which was a mayo-based sauce with hardly any spice to it.The empanadas were really good, with the spinach being my favorite. The beef pastry was decent and the croquette was nice too.Service was friendly. The place was steamy hot on the morning I went, like the AC was broken. I’d definitely return when in the area though, as they have so much to try.“
“They were quite busy when we arrived but we were able to be seated quickly. The bailey's drink we ordered was mediocre and a little pricy to add the liquor. The food was scrumptious even though we ordered a corned beef Benedict and got a corned beef bowl instead. Staff was attentive and the jam was tasty ?“
“This is an amazing place that brings you to the ambience of Europe. The quality of the food and coffees you get for the price you pay is a very good deal. Kind service, fast WiFi and a peaceful smart place to scape of the routine. Very interesting selection of wines to buy per bottle. Definitely this coffee shop is a must if you come to this part of the city.“
“First time here, decided to give it a try as I was in the area. I ordered the stuffed grape leaves as appetizer and a burger. The grape leaves were okay. Plating made it look a bit unappetizing. The leaves were doused in some sort of sauce that started to thicken up on the leaves as it began cooling down. The flavor was quite intense. Could have done without whatever that was and just dipped it in the butter sauce myself that was provided on the side. I was hoping to be a little bit more impressed, but it did have decent flavor. The Greek burger was very good and cooked well, medium. Came out fresh & hot which probably occurred due to not many people being there, but not complaining. The service overall was good, everyone was friendly as I walked in, and my waiter was friendly & relatively attentive. Would I visit again? Possibly, yes, just based on the burger. I also like that they have a lot of options on the menu. I'm intrigued to try something else.Vegetarian options: There are a few items on the menu that you can substitute for a vegetarian option. It's clearly marked by a green icon next to the options. Veggie burger, spinach pie, baked stuffed mushrooms...“
“Whenever I want a good dessert or a delicious sandwich this is the place I go. The variety of pastries and desserts are to die for. I am not big on ice cream, cupcakes, chocolate overload or overloaded with sugary toppings pastries that seem to be everywhere here. This place has authentic European style desserts where taste and quality are obvious.“
“Tasty coffee and good prices. The food was pretty good, not amazing, but pretty good - we had the crepes. The service was very friendly and attentive. It has a cute patio on the side to eat.Wheelchair accessibility: The patio is on the ground floor, with movable chairs.“
“A beautiful place to share time with friends and experience a great time! The kavatenders are over the top. Look at the cacao that was just made for me! It's also a great place to chill and do your work! Not to mention they're to you some of the best around!“
“LaCake has been in EVERY single celebration in our family for the past 7 years. They never disappoint!! Everything is made with love and exactly the way I requested. They are part of the family already. My favorite cake is the walnut with dulce de leche cake. You guys are the best of the best! ?????????“
“The staff here is SO wonderful. Our flight was significantly delayed and we had to checkout of our rental home. We needed a place to relax for a bit with our 2 children away from the heat. We were warmly welcomed and the (incredibly kind) security guard even brought over games for our children to play while my husband and I drank coffee (I had the chai my husband had the cappuccino — both were great). Would 10/10 utilize this as a spot to co-work next time we’re in town.Big thanks to all of the staff working on 3/27/24 (I didn’t catch their names, but the barista, security and welcome staff were all lovely). Thank you for making our last few hours in Fort Lauderdale a lot less stressful ?“
“I’m a lifelong lauderdale resident, and I can honestly say this is the best place to grab a coffee and a quick bite that doesn’t require getting out of your car without resorting to fast food giants. Definitely one of my favorite local businesses and I’ve been coming since I was a little kid and I still visit often. The service is always fast and friendly, and its about the only place in fort lauderdale where you can grab a freshly made avocado toast for $5.50 (unless you can settle for a slice of stale sourdough with some processed guacamole mix slapped on top like some fast food giants sell).Support this business!!! I absolutely recommend expresso and consider it a local staple. Be aware though that this is a drive thru joint, which is why I gave atmosphere 4 stars. Not complaining personally because I always prefer to go options but the atmosphere is as great as it can get for not being a dine-in sort of place.“
“We absolutely loved the delicious food, cool atmosphere and decor, attentive and super friendly staff and aromatic Columbian coffee. The crepes were superb! Crispy edges with so much juicy filling inside melts in your mouth. Absolutely amazing place where we will definitely be coming back.“
“The food, service and ambience here are unmatched! Such a cute coffee shop with beautiful flowers and every menu item is delicious. Really kind workers as well, you feel like you’re at home and very pet friendly environment. Support these businesses, they truly deserve it and trump your corporate coffee places in flavor, service and quality“
“This might be a long one, and a lot of people might not read. However, I was not paid to write this review or any of my reviews. That being said, my friend Dave and I went to @Sapido Italian Restaurant for dinner for my Birthday. Please note that I'm Jamaican, and he is Italian. We have been exchanging cultural experiences. He made a reservation, but they take walk-ins if not busy, and you can all sit outside. Our serve was #Simona I think that is how she spelled her name. Dave and her were chatting about italy and where they came from the family background. I was listening as well. If you check the star, the service got 4 because I thought the bread should have come sooner when we sit, and the Oliver and Balsamic vingeratte should have been on the table before we got there. So let's get down to the food. The names of the were Rigatoni alla Boscaiola (homemade pasta, ham, mushroom, sausage and creamy Panna white sauce) that is what I had it was Great and well ?. However, my Jamaican came out in me to add a little twist. I hope the manager for @Sapido try this that I am about to tell them. I added the Oliver oil and the Balsamic vingeratte to the dish. OMG, it was DELICIOUS. I cleaned that plate with some additional bread that my friend Dave as for, has he was showing me what they would do in Italy. 5 stars period. Chef kisses.Dave dish was the Gnocchi al Pesto it was great as well, and I did taste it. With the homemade pesto. It was really good.Let me tell you about the desert. Lord Jesus. I promise you should have a desert, but please try the Panna Cotta and the Tiramisu both are homemade. It was light, and it did fill the small space was let. Not sweet but delicious. (You don't need to mix both. You can have them separately)The atmosphere was family like and lovely, small but intimate and friendly environment. If you look in one of the pictures, you will see that the chef photo boomed one of us pictures, which was great. This was not expensive and you can have a group as well. Very beautiful, and I promise to go back and. Visit and hope they will get the 5 for service next time.Thank you, xoxo.“
“The food was fresh and tasted great. Also got a latte that was great. The service was really nice, order at the counter and they bring everything to you. Employees were super nice and helpful. Good place to hang out and read/work while having a good bite and drink. Would definitely come back!“
“Guys guys guys, this is an absolute must. If you're in the area, definitely go to this place. Pass up all the Vicky's Bakery cause this is the place for Cuban food and baked goods. Literally everything here is amazing. Service was very good, atmosphere is a little outdated but the food, baked goods and service picks up its slack. I will definitely be returning.“
“First time visiting this place, and as a coffee lover got I say that I really liked it and will definitely come back again. One of the things I liked the must is the chill/relaxing vibe. This will be a great place to read a book, work, or just sit and enjoy a good coffee. The decor was cute too ;)“
“Ever since the first day I ate here, I knew it was a special place. Besides the incredible food, the service has been amazing every time. Thanas is the absolute man, he memorized my order and it makes it much more enjoyable to eat here. The food is of the highest quality, the portions are great and there is a great atmosphere every time I walk in. If you work in Downtown Fort Lauderdale & need a new place for lunch, LOOK NO FURTHER!“
“We got the Brooklyn original bagel, comes with turkey, turkey sausage, egg, cheese, and bacon. It wasn’t the best bagel I had, but it was good and would definitely get again. They have BOGO on that bagel on Uber Eats (I did pick up) , so two bagel breakfast sandwiches for $10. Can’t beat that.“
“I really love this place. The drinks are tasty (love the horchata cold brew beverage) and I think the snack offering is robust enough to meet every craving. I came here because the environment seemed to be virtual worker friendly (it is). My boyfriend was ecstatic to read they’re owned by a retired NFL player, and I am proud to support this awesome Black Owned Business in my community.“
“Every time I’m in Ft Lauderdale I come here. As a tonic and specialty espresso fan, it is an oasis. They know what they are doing and have a beautiful space and window to order from. I will always send anyone I know their way. A special shout out to G for being the most pleasant person to talk to at the window. They are the sweetest bean, so funny and punny and make this place even better than it already was“
“This place is amazing in every way possible. The atmosphere is super unique and something you can't find anymore that much outside of whatever Bohemian enclave still exists in Greenwich Village in NY. This place perfectly captures the atmosphere of the cozy old days where coffee shops were more about the coziness of the place and about enjoying your coffee with friends then the quality of the coffee. That being said the coffee quality is actually pretty good, don't expect starbucks quality stuff though. This is above average stuff but not 15 dollar ventees with 17 shots of pumpkin spice, 3 shots skim milk, 4 dashes of lemon, an whatever else people get there. This is coffee served in a cozy mug. A warm, inviting place where you can both study, work, and party. The main guy in charge, Kevin, is amazing. He's like what Grumpy Cat would be like if he was human. He seems grumpy on the outside but on the inside this is a man who cares about all of his customers. He's cool asf, and nice. Talk to him an get to know him. Ask him about Magic the Gathering or something equally nerdy, and he will be your instant best friend. This is a place that accepts everyone regardless of religious beliefs, political beliefs, race, sex, gender, etc. This is a 100% safe space for all people. Everyone is treated equally. Places like this are far an few between. It's a hidden treasure, an gem disguised as a coffee shop. You should visit and just relax. Let that days stress roll right off of you. Peace, love, unity, is what this place is about.“
“Been coming to this kava bar on and off for some time, and I've been going to kava bars for about 7 years. The atmosphere of this place is fantastic, and really is what you make it.Who really stands out as a bartender is James, not only does he make you feel like you're a regular, he treats you like one. Very homey, and great hospitality, makes a strong drink, and is generous beyond belief. A great bar all in all and the staff really sets it over the top, James just happens to stand out and make you feel like you're in a joint run with love, as opposed to just another customer. Check it out if you're trying to have a nice place to study or a nice place to go on a date.“
“From when I walked into the door and left my car with the valet I knew this was my kind of place. The aroma was intoxicating, it smelled so clean and fresh. Peter and Ashly at the front desk were very accommodating, quick and easy check in. The room was fantastic and the view! Wow! As for dinner and drinks Serena and Raymond were wonderful!“
“Food and drinks were fantastic. For some reason, they let a homeless man hangout at the center table, and he stared at us and made everyone in the place feel very uncomfortable. He was walking inside and out of the place over and over again for an hour straight. Standing int he middle of the room doing yoga. It was a weird experience.Luckily we had good food and good drinks to watch it all“
“Loved this coffee at first sip! It has a strong bold flavor and smells wonderful when brewing! I have never drank coffee where I had to grind the beans first, and now I don't think I can go back to those K-cup style coffees. Burst of Java has me hooked! I can't wait to see what else BOJ has to offer!“
“I really loved this little spot in Fort Lauderdale. It's in a great location so the ambience is definitely very beautiful. I love the colors and how nice they put a great touch to it together.I ended up getting a flatbread and coffee and both were very good. The service was also very fast, and the staff was very friendly for such a busy hotel.“
“FYI: Perfectly serviceable Starbucks, but I work in NYC and the prices in this store are somehow higher than NYC. It was $19 for a grande cold brew and venti matcha latte—maybe it’s a surcharge the Westins puts in place, but it was a bit jarring.“
“Always great service. However I don't like their new setup though. It gets busy at times and the walking space is tight when it does. But I am so glad it's here downtown. I do love my Starbucks.Vegetarian options: It's listed on labels.Dietary restrictions: It's listed if it's gluten free, etc.“
“I would like to start by saying thank you fredy for always making sure you have my favorite toppings toffee nut. I always go in for my usual order iced triple espresso with three pumps of toffee nut and three pumps of white mocha omg fabulous never a disappointment, fredy always makes sure everyone leaves happy. Also my other two favorite employees the brother and sister omg they are wonderful. Thank you guys for always making my mornings wonderful with my favorite drink and thank you fredy for always making sure you have my ingredients. ❤️❤️“
“Unforgettable Night at Stache Drinking Den: Expertly Crafted Drinks and Vibrant Atmosphere!Last night, I had the privilege of attending an exclusive invitation-only event at Stache Drinking Den, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped foot in the venue, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and energy. The non-linear narrative of my experience may seem scattered, but let me assure you, every detail adds to the allure of this establishment. As a passionate cocktail enthusiast, I indulged in a variety of drinks both on the first-floor bar and the second floor. However, it was at the first-floor bar where Tico, the mixologist, truly shone. The passion and precision with which Tico created each drink were evident, making them truly memorable. While the drinks stole the show, I must mention the appetizers I sampled during my time there. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary. I found them to be satisfactory, complementing the overall experience without overshadowing the main attraction—the delightful libations. Stache Drinking Den truly excels in the realm of mixology, and that's where its strength lies. Now, let's address a minor inconvenience I encountered during my visit. Unfortunately, the ice machine had malfunctioned, leading to drinks being served at a slightly higher temperature than desired. However, I understand that technical issues are beyond the control of the bartenders, and I believe this isolated incident should not reflect negatively on the establishment as a whole. I trust that under normal circumstances, this would not be a recurring issue. In conclusion, my evening at Stache Drinking Den was an unforgettable one. The expertly crafted drinks, especially those concocted by Tico at the first-floor bar, showcased a level of mixology that surpassed expectations. The lively and celebratory atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the event. Despite the temporary setback with the ice machine, I firmly believe that Stache Drinking Den is a place worth visiting, offering an experience that will leave you craving for more. Cheers to Stache Drinking Den for a night well-spent!“
“Super chill spot, you can have conversations with anyone there. The kava-tenders are very knowledgeable about the drinks and various products. Just go up to the bar and they'll match a drink to what you're in the mood for: From kratom extracts to kava leaf or powder or even kratom soda and various taylor made drinks, there is always something to enjoy.“
“This Dunkin is small compared to the one in the area. However, they have outdoor seating. Due to small awning the outdoor seating did not get shade much. Also, I wish the dumpster for the strip mall is not too close to the outdoor seating area.Overall this place is clean and strives for the best.Parking: The shopping center has“
“Janice helped us today & she was super kind & efficient. The place was busy because everyone was out shopping after the local flooding. They didn’t have any food showing in display case but she was well-versed regarding what was in stock. Nice job ladies! ?“
“My husband and I stopped in to have our Thanksgiving dinner. We aren’t from the area, and are only her for 2 days before we leave for our cruise. The Greek salad was not what we were expecting, but was one of the best salads we have had. It was so good. The pizza was tasty, and the sangria is pretty good as well. Overall it was a great experience!“
“This little coffee shop has it all. I love that that make their own bread and you can choose how to prepare your breakfast. They have best croissants. We ordered the avocado toast which was delicious and a veggie omelette. The staff is great and super friendly. The decore is unique even in the bathroom and they have a mini toy booth in a corner oh and a Pac Man machine!!!!“
