My wife, baby, and I decided to give Sportivo a try a few months ago. After the first sip of Peter’s cappuccino and the first bite of the Italian sandwich, we were hooked!

We really enjoy coming to sportivo, we have made it part of our regular rotation of places in the area. 😂 The atmosphere is something that takes me back to when I used to go to a diner with my grandpa when I was a kid. He was a regular at the diner daily for over 20 years! But sportivo reminds me of that experience. There are a lot of regulars hanging out, speaking Italian, many of them, including Peter really enjoy seeing our baby when we walk in. Our baby has a great time too with all the interaction and friendly faces. The regulars are all very welcoming.

As far as coffee goes, this is hands down, the best coffee we have had in the area. Peter makes excellent coffee.

For food, we have had both a breakfast sandwich which is really good. But our favorite food item has to be the Italian lunch sandwich. It is the best Italian sandwich I have ever had with the exception of the ones my grandmother used to make. You have to try this Italian sandwich!

For pastries, my wife enjoys the apricot filled croissant, and I really enjoy the Sfogliatella. Never tried one until coming to Sportivo, and it is definitely my go to. Just don’t come in here and buy them all or I’m going to be upset! 😢“

“If this place was not conveniently located across the street from my workplace, I probably would not know that they exist. This is knock-off version of Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. Today the bread on my Tuscan roll was cotton dry and hard as a roc. I was shocked cause they usually do a great job or heating it up and handing my sandwich in the aluminum pouch. My favourite item from menu is the hot chocolate. I LOVEE my hot chocolate!!“

Every sample made it harder to choose what to get because every sample was delicious! If you are going to get ice cream, skip the commercial chains and support this in-house made ice cream - it’s delicious! I had the mint chip and it had a generous amount of HUGE chocolate chunks in it! We will definitely be back again!“

“Our fave coffee place! Staff is friendly and helpful, place is always busy but the wait is never too long. They have outdoor seating, they're pet friendly and they have a merch corner. There's no drive-thru at this location and parking can be tight but there's a large open lot next to it to make it easier, especially for larger vehicles. Handicap accessible and restrooms available for customers. It's a great option for a quick bite to eat and some zoom juice.“

“Got the “Famous Cubano” and was excited to try this one in the side of a gas station. Since my last experience in FL at an expensive restaurant yielded the worst Cubano I’ve ever had, I figured this would be a good place to try next.

From the pictures it looked awesome and from the experience, it’s was equal! The bread was on point, buttered, crispy and chewy, the roast pork was juicy and tender. The ham was also good and there was a perfect amount of pickles and mustard with melty Swiss! All of the textures and flavors were balanced which was exactly what you want in a good Cubano! And you could taste the individual components as well! Fantastic sandwich!!“

“Came here with a friend for a quick catch-up and ended up staying much longer. The seating was comfortable, the drinks were prepared well, and we never felt rushed. It’s refreshing to find a café where conversation can happen without competing with loud music.“

“Not just an incredible selection of coffees from across the globe, but owners who are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. This couple knows their coffee. Just tell them what you like (strong, light, decaf, etc), then how you typically brew your Java and they’ll recommend the best coffee that meets your taste, and if you prefer ground coffee, will grind it specifically to the coarseness of your brewing machine. We’re big, I mean BIG fans of their Panamanian coffee beans. It’s absolutely the best coffee I’ve even had and I’m no spring chicken. If you’re around the Festival, stop by and say hello. They won’t pressure you but I’m guessing you’ll leave with some of their coffee after your nose does its’ thing ????“
