“My husband, our child, and I visited this cafe on a Saturday morning and were delighted. The barista, a girl with long hair (unfortunately I don't know her name), was wonderful. The coffee and croissants were delicious. And she kindly warmed up my coffee for me, as I was busy with the child and my coffee had cooled down a bit. In general, I recommend this place.“

“This was my first time visiting Rose Cafe & Restaurant, which recently expanded and rebranded with a full bar and dinner service, officially opening the new concept in October 2025. The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn’t linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don’t tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn’t say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn’t completely blow my mind, it’s still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I’d honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.“

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. If you're looking for a place with great sandwiches, Gili's Sub Shop Cafe is the spot! From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcomed; the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, cozy, and family-friendly. But what really makes you want to come back is the service—they were so kind to us!
As for the food, we ordered the pastrami sandwich, which was made fresh to order, and we loved it. It was absolutely delicious! But here is the real secret for flavor lovers: you have to try their ají (hot sauce). It is a total delight. What I liked most is that it has a super rich, balanced flavor; it has just the right amount of kick, allowing you to enjoy all the flavors together with the sandwich without overpowering your palate.

The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. After my first visit in, I have been greeted by first name every single time. The breakfast burrito is amazing, the pitas are all so great, the portions are plenty, everything is just great. My only advice, when going for lunch, try to order online because they can get super busy and lunch takes a bit longer to come out, but that is because everyone keeps coming back for more! “Wells is everything you’d want in your local coffee shop. This spot is quieter than the Flagler village spot where they roast the beans I believe but still very vibey. Their coffee is tasty and an iced latte especially hits the spot in these hot summer days in Florida. I have tried some of their beans for brewing espresso at home and it was solid- would buy again. As for getting here, they got some bike parking too so it’s perfect to stop by pre or post ride. Ample car parking for a grab and go as well!“
