“Today, November 13, 2024, I decided to go out and have my first meal at the boulangerie. I've always seen good reviews about the place, although I was worried it would be expensive. To me, "expensive" implies something high priced with poor food and service. However, I had a great experience, especially because of the friendliness of all the waitresses, and Nahir L really makes the moment even better. The presentation of the dish, the flavor... for me, the price is fair for the experience there.

“Seriously and hands down my personal favorite empanada's in Fort Lauderdale!! The crust is perfectly flaky but yet chewy, they dont skimp on the filling and oh my the seasoning in the filling is DELICIOUS. Not to mention their home made Chimichuri sauce to pair with the empanadas too.

It is a little difficult to find, its tucked in the building but when you find it trust me you'll be going back. Parking is complementary at the valet if youre going here!

“We dined at Village Café on Tuesday, March 14th and we had Liz and Angie as our waitresses, and both were very responsive and made several suggestions on the menu and answered all of our questions. “I absolutely ADORED this place it’s safe to say that it’s perfect for everyone. It’s pet friendly and has a baby changer station in the restroom. Not to mention the amazing food, I’m a huge fan of the everything bagel with eggs and bacon and the chicken pesto sandwich. The café has a homey atmosphere even with a lounge fit with sofas. Super friendly staff who went above and beyond and gave us water and whipped cream for my dog. 100% would recommend“

The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. Almost every morning I go for cafesito and empanadas or facturas. They always greet customers with a smile and positive energy. We are treated like family not customers. “This bagel cafe just opened in our neighborhood so we have it a try. We were there in the morning right as the cafe opened. We ordered our bagels to go, and the girl at the counter was sweet and inviting … the bagels were not out yet as they were coming out of the oven as we ordered. As we waited for our to go order we were given fresh rugelach to sample and it was also fresh and still a little warm and sooooooo good!!! We had the bagels at home —- garlic w/ nova shmere. garlic w/bacon scallion shmere . and the rainbow w/plain , and the bagels did not disappoint !!! the iced coffee was also quite good!! glad to have a nice breakfast place in the Hallandale/Hollywood location“
