“Stopped by Sol Cafe recently and it’s such a hidden gem! This locally owned spot just opened not long ago, and the owners are super sweet and welcoming — you can tell they really care about the place and their customers.

We ordered the Coca Amor crepes (strawberry, banana, chocolate, pistachio cream) and the Crepe Tatin (dulce de leche, caramelized apples, and crème anglaise), and both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and made to order — even the crepe batter is prepared fresh for each order, which makes the wait totally worth it. The crepes were perfectly thin, soft, and really flavorful, and the caramelized apples with dulce de leche were especially good.

For drinks, we tried the honey matcha, which was smooth and not overly sweet, and the refresher smoothie, a fusion of berries that was fresh and really refreshing.

We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. “Got the “Famous Cubano” and was excited to try this one in the side of a gas station. Since my last experience in FL at an expensive restaurant yielded the worst Cubano I’ve ever had, I figured this would be a good place to try next.

From the pictures it looked awesome and from the experience, it’s was equal! The bread was on point, buttered, crispy and chewy, the roast pork was juicy and tender. The ham was also good and there was a perfect amount of pickles and mustard with melty Swiss! All of the textures and flavors were balanced which was exactly what you want in a good Cubano! And you could taste the individual components as well! Fantastic sandwich!!“
