“Went to this little South Korean bakery today, and let me tell you something—I was NOT prepared.

I walked in thinking, “Okay, let me just grab something real quick.” Next thing I know, I’m standing there looking at a chocolate croissant and a Nutella cream bread like they’re about to change my life.

And you know what? They did.

Both of them were delicious. Like, “I should probably stop eating this, but I’m gonna disrespect myself and finish the whole thing” delicious.

And the bakery itself? Very chill. Very relaxed. Nobody’s rushing you. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down, open your laptop, pretend you’re studying for three hours, and actually accomplish absolutely nothing because you’re too busy thinking about that Nutella cream bread.

But hey, at least you’re doing nothing in a peaceful environment.

“As most readers can fathom from my extensive café reviews, my daily joy comes from socializing and providing feedback to family owned businesses hoping they thrive against the corporate giants like Starbucks and Dunkin'.

Just happened to notice this little café wedged between two places of worship at the center of the plaza. You just never know if it may be a hidden gem so I had to take a peek. Upon entering, the pink walls blasted me in the face and the party theme continued with fuchsia polyester tablecloths and blue quilted diamond stitch upholstry seats. The tree of life napkin holders, yet subtle, added a spiritual vibe.

The owner, Miranda, was super charasmatic and provided some quick info about her café. There were a good assortment of Daisy's pastries including croissants, banana nut muffins and marble pound cake. The smoothies were perfectly priced at $5.50 or for a full meal the tuna sandwich on a sub roll is only $12.00.

Although the food offerings looked promising, I went with the Italian Espresso with an added pinch of brown crystalized sugar to sweeten it up. The espresso was presented in a light blue mini paper cup with the Fancy & Divine Café logo sticker affixed which was a nice touch, where so many other cafés miss the boat on simple inexpensive marketing. I applaud Miranda for the little details that go a long way. The medium roast espresso was tasty and well needed this morning to boost my energy.“

“1st this place got the best rice& peas around town. I just brought a few dishes, the chicken foot soup.Omg the distes sip had me in owe. De favor was bursting out in my mouth..chefs kiss♥. My only bone with my soup, they replace the yellow yam with white yam. This is my only fault with my soup.“
