“It doesn’t get much better than Taste of the City. I have been coming here for many years. The food and I had about everything is always hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

Their food is spectacular their pastries are made fresh they have all sorts of different foods if you're in the mood for something hearty or something light they have it all. Their customer service is excellent and they are near the mall. I always come here when I come to Miami because it has great vibes and good food. Especially for a coffee on the way back home.“

We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. If you're looking for a place with great sandwiches, Gili's Sub Shop Cafe is the spot! From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcomed; the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, cozy, and family-friendly. But what really makes you want to come back is the service—they were so kind to us!
As for the food, we ordered the pastrami sandwich, which was made fresh to order, and we loved it. It was absolutely delicious! But here is the real secret for flavor lovers: you have to try their ají (hot sauce). It is a total delight. What I liked most is that it has a super rich, balanced flavor; it has just the right amount of kick, allowing you to enjoy all the flavors together with the sandwich without overpowering your palate.
A great experience overall! Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back. 🥪❤️“

“This little neighborhood restaurant has been open for a few months, but it already feels like a neighborhood staple. The moment I walked in, the southern comfort warmth was immediate. Delf Juice Bar & Cafe is a family operation, and you feel it in every detail. Janet, the owner, was at the counter and she was a delight. She was juggling a couple of customers while effortlessly making suggestions and answering questions in English and Spanish. Before I even ordered, she handed me a sample of freshly squeezed juice with ginger — one of those sips that genuinely makes you feel alive.
I ordered the sandwich Cubano aka Cuban panini, and when it arrived, I was stopped in my tracks. The presentation was stunning — the perfectly placed platanitos standing upright, elegant and playful all at once. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality is what made my visit memorable. Finding a place where the owners genuinely show care about your experience is rare, and this family takes pride in it! I'll be back and bringing everyone I know.“
