It’s like going home to family that you actually like and they like you too! Warm and hospitable, like a cool neighborhood Israeli cafe with the best service and dreamy food. Their creativity while preserving the authenticity of the dishes is second to none. To miss this is truly to miss a wonderful dining experience.

Hadekel is an Israeli restaurant with a nice location where guests can sit outside, and fake bushes are used to block the heavy traffic in front of the store. The food comes out quickly. The menu is not very extensive and there are no meat dishes, but the sabich options are absolutely excellent. The Sabich Burekas and Tunis Challah are incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The sabich in malawach is outstanding, rich, flavorful, and instantly transports diners back to the tastes of Machane Yehuda market. The malawach is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The cheese burkas are buttery, flaky, and dangerous because you literally can’t stop eating them. Everything tastes fresh, rich, and perfectly seasoned, like real home-style Israeli food, not watered down. A hot pizza is available from the fireplace oven, and the coffee is delicious. The service is excellent in both English and Spanish. The only difficulty is the parking and getting out of the lot, as you can only make a right, and to make a u-turn you need to cross 3 lanes.
