“I got the Spring Ting Platter and I was so delighted. The Mac and cheese is one of the best I've ever had and the jerk chicken had a crunchy skin to it that gave so much texture. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is comforting. The juices are also unique and great. It is a little pricey, but so with it. It was delicious and filling. I will definitely be coming back. This is what soul food should be!“
“My whole reason for going to the YG farmers market is El Nopalito. Hands down incredible food and such a hospitable and hard working family. The love they put in their food is insane. “I'm Vegan and went here with my sister who isn't. We both loved it. Her only complaint was the portion size. I had a bacon egg & cheese bagel and carrot cake. She had the beef empanada and a soup. The good thing is that they are open late on the weekends. I would definitely visit again.“

“As a older adult, I enjoy going to this establishment very much. There is a nice mixture of ages and demographics, and everybody is very sweet. The owner Mark, his GM Fayna and his staff are very accommodating and helped me learn about the different botanical drink options and since I’ve been going there, my health has improved (i believe it’s due to their recommendations). I prefer holistic and natural approachsto my well-being, and I have become a regular of Leaves and Roots. I have also recommended them to my friends and family.“
“Everyone enjoyed the meal but me. I was looking forward to this lentil soup but it was too spicy to enjoy. The delivery was more than an hour late and it didn’t help with the atmosphere at the table, everyone was hungry and gobbled down the food. It was very expensive and overpriced , not suitable for group parties.“

“Wow. I seriously mean, wow. I had to collect myself to properly give a review of this restaurant. From the beginning we were greeted with warm and inviting smiles. We were given three types of menus, it had a plethora of choices and one by one my eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas. I couldn’t believe that they had vegan sushi! My heart went immediately for a roti pizza called Mystic Pizza. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a vegan place in SoFlo. My wife ordered the jack fruit and the flavors were brilliantly done. I could taste not only the love but the soul of the seasonings. We were extremely delighted with every we tried. Then a gentleman that works there, handed us an all natural fruit smoothie sample and I was impressed. Honestly the food is impressive and so are the people that provide the service. We will be recommending this place to all our friends and family. Thank you for your love and dedication to the culinary world and for making us feel at home in so many aspects.“

“The staff/owner is super friendly. We were there for sugar cane juice but he said they are out of sugar cane. I did see there were few not good looking sugar cane. The Venezuelan style dog has to be the best hot dog I have ever had, even non-vegans would love this charming place! Also nice they are open quite late. “I had the Best of Both Worlds sandwich!!! My husband had a basic grilled cheese. Both were beyond amazing Lee and his staff bent over backwards to make sure we were happ. They gave our little Havamalt Zoe’s bacon too!! “Best vegan pizza I have had in South Florida. My 2 favorites are the jackfruit BBQ and the white pizza. The garlic knows are pretty good and fresh. They also have other items on the menu I have not had a chance to try yet. Must try if your vegan or not.... you will NOT be disappointed“
