“had a really good time at vegan tierra last night for dinner with my sister-in-law it was great we had the lentil soup the pea soup the meat and cheese empanadas those were both great the grilled cheese was really good and their french fries were amazing so very filling and the best part was the staff Ashley was awesome can't wait to go back again food and the staff are great you should go there and have some food it's really good“

“We had a fantastic meal at Taj Indian Grill. Authentic Kerala cuisine :The parotta, beef ulathiyathu, and Kottayam fish curry were all highlights, rich and perfectly spiced. Chef Harris delivered amazing flavors, and Akshaya gave us warm, attentive service. Highly recommended. We’ll happily be back.

The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

“I had high hopes for this place. The wonton soup broth was delicious but the wontons filling texture was very off and that's my favorite dish everywhere I go. The fried rice and lo mein lacked flavor but wasn't bad. Just missed that Chinese wok taste. The egg rolls were crunchy and pretty good.Dumplings were not good. Very weird meat texture. The ribs were way too sweet. Good but not great food.“

“Excellent!! I went Just Spoons for brunch. First I would suggest make reservations. This restaurant gets crowded fast. I had the grilled shrimp and fried catfish w/ eggs and grits. Enough for 2 people and it delicious. My daughter had the curry shrimp and grits awesome and flavorful. My severer was Sean was attentive answered questions about the dishes and the drink menu is like no other I had the brunch punch ( contains alcohol)and my daughter the sunset ( non alcohol) both excellent. This my first time at this restaurant and it now on my restaurant rotation.“

The food is good enough — good and satisfying, but nothing to necessarily write home about. The tacos — ground beef marinated in chili, I think, and the mushroom tacos — were good; the black beans were fine. (They needed more seasoning.)

The guacamole and chips I had were also good and satisfying.

Dani made the experience (this time and the last time I was here for spring break/ in March).

“The moment we walked in we were greeted with the most wonderful greeting by Tan. He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! The sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and fresh and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was bright, clean and spacious. And to top it off as we were walking toward the door to leave standing there was Mimi and Tan sending us off with their smiles and hugs. Tan, you are such a bright, joyful light! This little cafe serves up all the soul, as Nika’s mom, Chef Sharon cooks up all of your soul food favorites, for a very reasonable price, plus special for this month, they have a home made burger for 954 Burger Month. The Black Bean Soul Burger is made with black beans, brown rice, toasted walnuts and a variety of spices and herbs. It’s served on a vegan brioche bun smered with a chipotle compound butter and house dressing, served here with hand cut sweet potato fries. The menu also has a lot of great options too, the crab balls are my favorite! Hours are limited as they are only open Tuesday - Thursday, 11-6 and are cashless business. They are located at 612 NW 9th Ave Ste A in Ft.Lauderdale, close to downtown, but they have do have a private free parking lot. Highly suggest checking them out this week, and trying the burger before the end of the month.“
