“We were early birds with a 5:15pm arrival. To our pleasant surprise we found out that early birds receive 20% off from entire menu! We ordered seafood paella, yuca frita, garbanzos with chorizo, garlic bread and house wine. Everything was delicious. The STAR of the evening was THE BEST FLAN WE HAVE EVER HAD! ...and we have tried many flans. Local dinners were smiling while we were complementing the staff about the flan. We then figured it out, this is where the LOCALS eat! So don't be fooled by it's location. We highly recommend visiting Candela Restaurant if you are in the Ft. Lauderdale area.“

It came highly recommended by Chris, and it did not disappoint! As someone who is quite picky about Italian food, we were all thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, Salvo and his partner made us feel like part of their family. Their hospitality was incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. Where else can you go where the owner sits down at your table and, within minutes, you’re all singing “That’s Amore”? Salvo got a gleam in his eye and asked me if I wanted to sing! I was happy to accommodate—it truly added to the vibrant and enjoyable experience. Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish we ordered was exceptional—authentic flavors, perfect seasoning, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite. “Toppings is as close as you can get to legit NY/NJ pizza anywhere in Florida. And the legitest of their pies is the Double Hitter .... extra cheese, double pepperoni and fresh garlic. And while I’ve never thought of doing this before, I had them add onions. Wow is all that’s needed to be said. For those that know the Barstool/One Bite scoring system, my scores have always been right in the same vicinity of what Dave’s scored out of the places that we’ve both been to, so my scores are pretty on par. The Double Hitter from Toppings is a solid 8.9 👍“

“This is my favorite place in Wilton. All the staff is so friendly. I come here about twice a week to happy hour with my friends and I am always welcomed with open arms. Charlie , Cassidy, Daniel, Rigo, Matteo and many more do such a great job taking care of us and making the experience so much better. Plus the Drinks and Food are great !!“
