“Great service and delicious food!To start they give the table a small bowl of cancha (a large corn kernel but the inside is popped like popcorn). The best octopus I have ever had at a restaurant. It is easy to overcook octopus and it gets rubbery but Bravo’s octopus was a tender delight!Large portions for entrees. The Corvina fish (found underneath the shrimp, calamari, and octopus) was light and deliciously paired with the Aji Panca cream sauce. The Lamb Shank seco de res was a dinner special so no guarantee it will be there when you go but it was so tender (no knife needed) and well balanced with the pickled onion and rice!Muchas Gracias Bravo!“
“I ordered through doordash the SASHIMI COMBINATION and it was amazing, super fresh and very well presented . I believe they even gave me more than what I ordered . Price was excellent for the amount of food that I got. Completely delicious , would definitely order again!!Dietary restrictions: If you’re on a high protein diet or glutten free diet this is a great option.“
“Diana was the one who greeted us and her service was fantastic, very attentive, very fast with our food. Too friendly since we arrived. As for the food, the corn arepa with cheese was the best, truly a delicious flavor, the paisa tray was very normal, the beans were very seasoned. But all in all it was a good experience.“
“Yes. A happening place on las olas. Live music 7 days a week. We eat here regularly. High end seafood and meat. Superior to lobster house. Highly recommended. Also a pickup place for the 40+ crowd.Local review by a local for over 50 years. No fluff just the bottom line.“
“We were so pleasantly surprised! Been in Pompano all week and of all the places we ate at this was the best by far!!! The portions were more than enough and tasted perfect (Hawaiian ribeye steak andribs). The drinks were delicious (Pompano punch) and our server Bella was the very best!“
“Everything was as expected, except I didn't pay attention prices and was slightly sticker shocked for 2 people nearly $270 with tip. Only 1 glass of wine, one shared entree, and a side. However, I don't know any other good places in Ft Lauderdale which can be synonymous with trash. Get away from Las Olas and come here. You won't regret it. Nothing much down there anyway. As of time of writing, parking $24 after a $6 discount from validation. Maybe worth it to street park and walk if it's nice out. 8oz wine pour $26 also so for what it's worth, might be better to bring a bottle and do the corkage or skip it and focus on the food. Barnzini and potato side were both phenomenal. One criticism is that once they pick out all of the bones, it's almost cold. Warm still, but I guess that was a factor to mention a $100+ fish. Watch out for schemes. The wine by the glass said $16 but the 8oz pour was $26. Just pay attention unlike me. I wouldn't recommend getting 2 desserts. One was enough and neither were phenomenal. Perfectly prepared, but not what I'd come back for alone.Tbh I was impressed, but you can do as well at authentic in thr SoFla area. Overall 4 Seasons Restaurants are usually able to be relied on for quality, so if you just don't want to mess around because you have a night or so, you can't lose here.“
“Last time, I gave this place a good review. Now, not so much. As a local, my friends and I laugh at how bad the bar service is. It's like they go out of their way NOT to make eye contact. I just sat at the bar for 10 minutes, with a dirty bar in front of me and never got service. Bartenders have no sense of urgency. Staff needs a good wake up call in our collective opinion! Happens over and over again...“
“Stopped by on Easter Sunday for a nice lunch with our family. The food and atmosphere were great and our servers, Chelsea and Ana, were wonderful and attentive to our table. Our son was thrilled they served buttered pasta on the kids menu. The key lime pie was amazing! Thanks for a memorable Easter! ❤️Kid-friendliness: Good options on the kids menu!“
“My first time coming to this restaurant. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp with fries. Everything came out just perfect. Super flavorful and fresh shrimp and fish. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. If you are craving seafood do yourself a favor and stop at this place. To add to this, the person that took my order was very courteous. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the vicinity. I noticed a lot of people coming in for take up, I dined in. Nice background music ?and great food.“
“What great service and friendly atmosphere! The food is delicious! I got the crab cake platter which comes with 2 hush puppies and 2 sides of your choosing. My husband got the ahi tuna. We both enjoyed our meals 100%. Check out the pictures. Clearly the chef knows how to dazzle!! Don’t be fooled by walking up to the counter to order. The food is off the hook exceptional.“
“Had the pleasure of dining in at Anthony's Clam House. We come all the way from New Jersey just for the clams! Everything was excellent especially the linguine vongole and the Tuscan shrimp. The atmosphere is very nice. The service was awesome, we were blessed to have Angela as our waitress, she was a sweetheart. She checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. 10/10 overall and I look forward to coming back!“
“We had an awesome experience at Bae Korean Grill. The service by Alfie was amazing! And the food was incredible!Alfie was super nice, professional and attentive. It really was a great experience overall.Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: We have come several times with our toddler and have never had an issue. She stays calm in her stroller and we are able to keep the stroller next to us without a problem.“
“Excellent spot for lunch and happy hour. Very relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent! They offer a few vegan options. I had the veggie burger, which was very good. The service was great. Honestly, loved the place for a casual lunch and happy hour.Vegetarian options: Vegan options.“
“We had an amazing evening out on the patio with Laurie, our server, who made our experience even better. Laurie’s wine and food recommendations were top-notch and, even when her section was very busy, she stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks, Laurie, for looking after us so well. We look forward to seeing you again!“
“First time here and highly recommend. We were looking for seafood but didn't want to go too far east. This is off of University Dr.We ordered the lobster rolls, surf and turf burger and they came with a side, cucumber salad, and tomato basil. Everything was so good and fresh. A hidden gem for seafood and very friendly. Roxy who served us was very friendly and recommended the homemade blueberry bread pudding for dessert. Make sure to make room for it. We met Luc the owner who brought our food. I love going to local places. We will be back!“
“Well-organized, busy, great food (cost $$$) & valet parking only $5!! Great place for dinner after being on beach just 3-4 blocks away.Parking: Coconuts is near Water Taxi Stop 6 (Swimming Hall of Fame) which is walking distance about 4 blocks from paid parking lot $33/6 hrs or $44/overnight.“
“Michael made my night so special! He is without a doubt, the best server I’ve had. He is incredibly attentive, detailed, funny and great with connecting and understanding people. Excellent service, I would recommend his service to everyone! He made sure my dad and I had a wonderful time. Definitely coming back for him and also the food!“
“My wife and I decided to dine at Capital Grill prior to a musical we had tickets for at the Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center For The Performing Arts. We parked in the Galleria garage attached to the same building as Capital Grill which was about a 2 minute walk to the restaurant that we had a 5:30pm reservation for. We were seated almost immediately and then were pleasantly greeted by several staff members and our servers, Miguel and Claudio. They were the perfect duo and their service was impeccable! Let me preface all staff were great but I have to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Miguel. He was so personable, provided us with his recommendations and boy are we glad we listened to him. Now for the food, we tried the special, a 16oz filet, had the beet salad and shared the brussel sprouts and some cocktails (carbonation in my drink was perfect). For dessert we had the coconut creme pie, flourless chocolate cake and cappuccinos, everything was amazing! Although there is another Capital Grill much closer to our home, we will dine at the Ft.Lauderdale location just to be served and re-connect with Miguel and Claudio.Thank you for the excellent dining experience!Aaron & Shannon MartinParking: Parked in the galleria garage attached to the restaurant.“
“Love, love, love this place! Excellent owners and wait staff. The food is amazing! Huge selection of dishes. Excellent sangria and many other drink options. Their deserts are super fresh and to die for, especially the chocolate cake and passion fruit cheesecake! We are so lucky to have this place close to us. We’ve had a few birthdays here with a lot of people, and every single person loved it. Looking forward to our next time!“
“This was the most excellent Italian dining experience. As soon as you walk in you are met with an old time Italian eatery decor. The atmosphere along with the authentic Italian food aromas drew me in. We were met with a friendly greeting and taken to our table where our waiter Jeff suggested fresh seafood choices like snapper and shrimp. I chose the Snapper Oreganata with Linguine. This was the best piece of fish that I have ever eaten. Sorry mom. It was very tender and the white sauce was amazing. The chicken cacciatore was amazing too. My guest has been craving authentic Italian cacciatore and she said she found it. The garlic bread selection that came pre-meal was incredible too. The garlic butter combination was so good I would come back just for the bread. The side salad, while just a salad, was made amazing by the quality of the very fresh vegetables and the delicious creamy Italian dressing. Jeff, our waiter, was an amazing host. He was polite, friendly, entertaining, and extremely knowledgeable of the days fresh deliveries and made excellent suggestions for the evening. I only wish I had room for desert. It looked amazing too. If you don’t try Zuccarelli’s you are missing out. Thank you Zuccarelli’s! We will be back! David Monroe and Suzanne Laforte“
“Went here on a Friday night and ordered happy hour espresso martini, the gravlax, gorgonzola cheesecake, grouper and sea bass. Everything was delicious and great quality. Service was on point and I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu.“
“This was perhaps the BEST restaurant Ive ever been too. Such an amazing customer service. The food was SO SO delicious. The guy who served us(didn't get his name, unfortunately) was just super friendly. Extremely attentive. Absolutely recommend. Will be back very soon!! We ordered Lomo Saltado, Jalea de Marisco, Helado de Lacuma y Causa.“
“Would get 5 stars across the board if it weren't for the floor manager. He has a lack of customer service skills , energy and understanding of the client experience. The rest of the staff is very nice and very helpful.Especially Giacomo and Juan Manuel. Give them a raise or make them managers. The owner is very kind And professional.Happy hour Maki is great.“
“Upon my friend's recommendation, I visited this restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Opting for the ahi tuna salad and pork with vegetable fried rice, I was pleasantly surprised. The salad was a hearty mix of various vegetables complemented by perfectly seared tuna, reminiscent of Japanese Tataki. The fried rice, served in a hot stone bowl, was brimming with an array of veggies including mushrooms, beans, peppers, and mung bean sprouts, topped with a delectable egg omelette.Although I didn't have the chance to try the ceviche or grilled seafood this time, I'm already planning to revisit before we depart, as the dining experience was truly delightful.“
“Upscale in atmosphere, service, and food quality. We sampled apps: calamari, special brisket taco, and oysters on the half shell. All excellent, fresh, and delicious served promptly. Seating options include views of the intercostal waterway, as well as outdoor seating. A varied menu includes gumbo, lobster, fresh snapper and sides such as Parmesan mashed potatoes, or macaroni with cheese and bacon. A popular spot, so make a reservation!“
“Little hidden gem, walking distance from the beach. We found street parking easily around 7:40pm on a Thursday evening. We sat outside by the pool area, enjoyed the breeze and live music (karaoke). The service was wonderful, the young lady who was the hostess was extremely welcoming, the server Marianna was attentive and made great recommendations. The restaurant is family/kid friendly. The food and drinks were delicious.“
“We haven't been here in 7 years. It used to be a local spot on the water with good deals. They've done a little remodel on the deck, and now the prices are full on. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday and the deals are not that amazing. The views are still great, the food was okay.“
“found this place by accident. It looked great so we went in and told no tables available for an hour. But as we were about to leave someone got up in the bar area and the owner sat us. Food was awesome the owner talked with us for a while and bought us an app. We had a great time and it is now one of our favorites.“
“Dewey’s has excellent food and when we dine there, the service is outstanding. But we usually order through Doordash for delivery. We had issues with a couple orders containing the wrong items. I contacted the restaurant each time and spoke directly with Dewey, the owner. He took very good care of us, each time, going well above and beyond what was necessary. Highly recommended!!“
“Always a great experience! Delisioso Cuban Cuisine in a friendly and sophisticated environment. This location lives up to the legacy of the original Hallendale location. Been here many, many times and it never disappoints. Staff is excellent, bar tender Catherine is always a hoot and on point. Churrasco is a staple as are the Lechon Asado. Great place with a consistently great staff and tasty cuisine! Best Cuban in Dania Point! Highly Recommend!!!Parking: Plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: Very Kid FriendlyWheelchair accessibility: Fully Accessible“
“Was in Hollywood for the night. A friend from Peru recommended this place. We got there as the kitchen was getting ready to close 8:15.My wife ordered the house Ceviche. (Good, not great)I ordered the the Beef Lomo (It’s the best I have ever had.) I would recommend to anyone to order this typical Peruvian dish.Must try if you are in Hollywood. It’s truly a hidden Gem.“
“Truly a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in. Went for a date night with my girlfriend and we had amazing appetizer of chips and guacamole and salsa. We both loved our espresso martini’s as I forgot to take a pic before I took a sip. We each had to get another one. Then I ordered the amazing fries and Caesar salad as our sides. I also loved the skirt steak as it was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The entertainment was on point as well and truly a lovely experience. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I saw there were parties of co workers, friends and families there as well plus many other couples. I definitely recommend this restaurant!“
“I love this place. It was my dad's favorite restaurant, and he was from New England. They should have lobster bisque everyday in my opinion, LOL. Update: after being gone from south FL for some time, we came here for my first time in 5 years... I'm disappointed in the service we received. I would ask for a different waitress next time. Also the portions shrunk, still delicious but I remember the fish and chips being more substantial. Presentation of the lobster roll was lacking. Good thing this was my Pop's fav restaurant, or I'd never return. We will try the big lobsters next time, the soups are still great.“
“Excellent food and service all around. Each dish was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond. They have a wonderful selection of ceviche and Peruvian comfort foods. They are on the boardwalk also, so there is room to walk around and see some live music!“
“Was looking forward to the Ceviche I had on our first night on vacation. I came back to have the Ceviche again a few days later since I loved it so much and the Ceviche was completely different. All shrimp…. Did not even taste like Ceviche. Was sooo disappointed. I wish they would have told us before we ordered or I would have gotten something else instead. Let your customers know if the menu changes. I walked through high winds and rain to come back to this restaurant before flying back home.“
“My old coworkers always raved about this place so 15 years later I finally got a chance to visit. We were a party of 6 on Presidents' Day for lunch. The place is located in a strip mall facing Cypress Road. It's on the smallish side. The hostess had us wait about 15 minutes while our table was prepared. There are some chairs out front for this purpose. My daughter and I split the fish and chips. My dad ordered the fish roti. Judging by his longing gaze at my fish and chips, I quickly traded with him. The fish was bland but the roti with the curry base and bits of soft potatoes was very filling and tasty! My teenage son ordered the cheese burger and fries and wolfed it down with a root beer. There is a bar with a variety of domestic and imported draft beers on tap. My mom ordered a pint of Bud Light but it was too much for her to finish. The highlight of the menu (IMHO) is the homemade desserts. We all split a caramel cheesecake, a flan and a double coconut pie. Delicious! Our server was a college-age young man who is service oriented and friendly. Two thumbs up! BUT... If you are in a hurry to get a quick bite to eat this is definitely not the place. We were seated for 2 hours. If you have the time and the money, Calypso is an authentic old Florida establishment that is well worth the visit.“
“Went on a Monday night with a friend. Had a lovely dinner very spacious feeling with the design and the wood ceilings and openness. It wasn't busy yet as it was only around 5:00 p.m... Our server Erica was a delight! I had the chicken tenders dinner but I had it done the Nashville Hot Chicken style and it was delicious highly recommend asking for them to do it that way. My friend had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly and so thick and delicious. Unfortunately we were so full we had no room for dessert... next time the carrot cake!!“
“The food here is top-tier. Let’s start there. Ordered something with potatoes, pulled chicken, eggs, and rice and oh myyyyyy. Jaw on the floor. I’d come back to a dump if they served food like that. But that’s not what you meet when you walk in. Brightly colored, clean, almost new looking booths a plenty greet you. Light music, quick service, and a careful ambience make the dining experience feel effortless, sleek, and modern. Everything is spotlessly clean. Clearly there’s a lot of pride and tender loving care happening here. We'll be back with the rest of Fort Lauderdale!“
“Really a hidden gem. We were hungry after a day at the beach and searched the web. We ended at this delicious place were the food is SO GOOD and so fresh. We were so happy to find it. Flavors were amazing, real italian flavors. No sauces from jars or frozen... Everything fresh and delicious. We will definitely go back.“
“It was a night like no other! Soon as we walked in there were smiling faces and what I believe was the manager/owner (I’m not sure) was also there to greet guests which felt really good. I knew right then & there we stepped into the right place. Visiting from DC on our 14 day Anniversary adventure the atmosphere felt great! We were then seated and had the most beautiful view of Ft. Lauderdale Beach! Weather was perfect and the service was everything! We were treated like royalty! There’s not many places where you see the manager/owner as involved with things as I saw yesterday! Loved the happy hour drinks ? and the Signature Margaritas was very signature. It was delicious and my husband left feeling jovial as the drinks were actually “hitting” meaning yes there’s alcohol ? Food was great. And I’ve had some of the best key lime pie I’ve ever tasted. That whip cream blended so well! Thanks again for a good time!“
“I went here for a retirement party. It's outside, right on the beach off Pompano Beach Pier, and there was live music which was a nice surprise. They have umbrellas for the tables and the bar area is covered. They were able to accommodate our large-ish party right away (although we did get there early) and the waitress was super nice and took several photos of our group for us. We ordered several appetizers which were all very good. I got the blackened mahi sandwich for an entree and it was delicious. The mahi was really moist to the point of dripping so be ready to get messy when you order this. We had a really fun time. The reason for the 4 star rating was my friend found a couple of hairs in the batter of the fish she ordered. They were very apologetic and did not make her pay for her meal. It is also not vegetarian or vegan friendly. A bit pricey but it is right on the beach so I went in expecting that. All in all a good experience. Would recommend.“
“Second time here (first time was in 2018). This time we brought a friend and got the stone crabs, fried rice, a few sushi rolls, and brownie for dessert. All of it was awesome. Great service and fun vibe. Will make it a point to come back here next time I'm in the area.“
“This is a pleasant and tasty restaurant to bring your teenagers. Although I enjoyed the boil, we had the combination consisting of snow crab, shrimp, and mussels, I loved the crabs meat fried rice.Kid-friendliness: There were solid options for picky eaters. My 15 year old nephews enjoyed their meals. This surprised me because the picky eater of the two cleaned his plates of chicken fried rice and chicken wing starter. His twin enjoyed his seafood boil but heed the waitress' advice because it comes out piping hot. I advise guardians to peel the shrimp and start the process of cracking the crabs for younger kids. Digging their hands in the boil might burn them.“
“Went there for the 1st time last night and it was awesomeAs a HUGE Steelers fan this made me happy and now know where I'll be watching all the games. Our server Brittany was patient with us we chatted and let us know about sizing and prices.Ordered our food wings well done. The kitchen manager Came out and showed us a wing to make sure it was done to our likand we had an issue where our wings were tossed with both sauces instead of split and the kitchen manager came out and told us and apologize, but when the food did come out, it was absolutely fresh and delicious, very well seasoned. Wings especially the honey garlic with fresh chopped garlic. The curly fries were also delicious and crispy but soft.I had the Peach tea which was good but that Blackberry Margarita was THE BEST!!! Definitely recommend that to anyone.“
“The Fish Shack is a neat little restaurant with a "small family diner" type of vibe. The place is busy most of the time and the locals frequent The Fish Shack on a regular basis. They have a long list of "fresh catch" items as well. We had the swordfish and hogfish, which was something I had never tried before. Food was excellent and the fish was served hot off the grill! We always split a slice of key lime pie and their home-made version was very good - not quite as exotic and fancy as some of the higher-end restaurants do, but the flavor was very key lime!I highly recommend that you include The Fish Shack as one of your lunch or dinner stops when in the Lighthouse Point/Pompano Beach area!Parking: It's in a small shopping center, so parking is pretty easy.“
“EVERY wine dinner is OUTSTANDING … Lucille & Laura are always STELLAR and make sure everything is perfect. Alex, Steve, Christina & Gail are the support that rounds out the entire team. Pompano Beach is the BEST of the BEST. “
“Dining at Frenchy's Table is always a pleasure! This time we brought my parents for my father's 82nd Bday and he loved it! The food is outstanding and Pandora is easily our favorite server in the area. It's a small cozy restaurant and the food and service are outstanding.“
“Skip the drive to Boca or Fort Lauderdale and eat here. The food is amazing, from the fish to the salads to the pasta and everything else. This family owned restaurant should be on your regular rotation of high end consistently great places to go.“
“A great local place serving Louisiana cuisine. They have (and make the distinction between) Cajun "country" and Creole "city" food. Everything we had was excellent and authentic. Make sure you check out the daily specials board for some unique things and try it all. Definitely worth a stop for a meal when you're in the area.Parking: Plenty of spaces in the surface lot.“
“Nice place in WM, all food we had was delicious, fresh oysters, good service, but inside there was a strong smell from the kitchen, especially when a lot of people came and the restaurant was full... Something definitely needs to be done with the hood??“
