“Hooks Catch Seafood in Coral Springs delivered one of the best casual seafood meals we’ve had in a long time. Everything arrived hot and seasoned just right—flavorful without being salty. The team working there is genuinely kind, and we even had the chance to meet the owner’s son, who was just as friendly and welcoming.

The blackened catfish was absolutely perfect, cooked with care and great flavor. The French fries deserve their own mention: crisp, clean, and cooked in their own dedicated oil, which means no contamination and no heavy salt. The chicken was just as impressive—hot, juicy, and full of flavor.

The restaurant is kept clean, including the bathroom, and they offer drink refills, which is always appreciated. Hooks is the kind of place where the food is great and the people make it even better.“

The surf and turf quesadilla is officially my new go-to order. And my husband is still talking about the Baja fish tacos. Drinks were just as impressive (highly recommend the margaritas), and the overall vibe totally passed the check - lively, fun, but still comfortable enough to actually enjoy your meal and conversation. “I hosted my baby shower at Oceanic and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The Southern Room upstairs was the ideal size for our 40 guests. Spacious yet intimate, with such a beautiful atmosphere and access to a private balcony overlooking the beach. Our event coordinators, Casey and Maria, were incredible to work with throughout the planning process. They were both organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making everything seamless.

The buffet options were fantastic, our guests are still raving about the chicken and waffles, and the donut hole bar was such a fun and delicious hit. On the day of the event, Bobby and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, helpful, and truly made us feel taken care of.

“Whoa! I want to start by praising my server, Clarissa, for providing the greatest service. It was incredibly tasty in every bite and sip. A true reproduction of Peruvian cuisine, really. Everything was perfect, including the food, service, and menu. I had a typical pisco sour and cebiche a la brasa; if you enjoy cebiche, I heartily recommend it! “I can't get enough of this place; everything is fresh and tasty and the prices are good. I'm there at least once a week and drive a half hour for their mahi mahi. The lobster rolls are big and meaty and the shrimp is always prepared perfectly.“

“The food was good I had the crab cake it came as one big serving with a lot of crab, for dinner I had the shrimp stuffed crab it came as 4 medium size shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. The dessert I had the banana butter cake it was phenomenal!!!!!!!!! With vanilla icecream the cake was warm and went great with the icecream!!!!! It was really good!! “Lucky’s Fish is exactly what you want from a Florida beachfront spot with nothing but good vibes and even better food. The staff was great, with multiple people checking on our table, and sitting outside in the sun under a shaded area made lunch with the family feel special. My fish sandwich was top notch, and the coleslaw on the side was tasty without being too heavy on the mayo. My mom’s salad with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet, and my wife’s chicken sandwich was super juicy and full of flavor. It is hard to imagine Lucky’s having a bad dish because everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked like something I would order too.“

The alcohol based drinks are good, simple enough but clean good yummy.
The dips, chimichurri, the red onion slaw (thats the nane i just made up) was craaaazy good omg I could eat that slaw on anything lol..cereal cool, cake why not, lol ...ok joking! But you have to get that red onion slaw..

This time I tasted the Maine Lobster Chitarra, a half Maine lobster with squid ink pasta and calamari. It was excellent.
This is the reason why I keep coming back to this place so often. This time, Big Jim was our waiter. Very efficient and friendly.

“These guys are THE BEST. Not only is the food just as amazing as it’s always been (I’ve been a semi-regular for nearly 25 years), but the staff and management are top notch. Recently my best friend passed and his brother knew he loved Catfish Dewey’s, so he wanted to have a dinner there with local friends, neighbors, and colleagues. I went in and spoke to Joe, the manager. He assured they’d make it happen and they did so, flawlessly and with great attention to detail. They managed a party of nearly 48 people in addition to their regular clientele, even bringing in extra staff to help with the event. These folks went out of their way to make sure this special event went flawlessly and it did. The waitresses, whose names I cannot remember (I told you I wouldn’t…sorry! Ha!) were amazing. Food runners, on point. Bartenders, outstanding. Management, excellent. There’s a lot of love and care in this establishment and it should be celebrated. There’s not enough of that these days. Support local businesses who care, especially those with GREAT food AND great people like Catfish Deweys.“

“We had a great meal here. We visited on a Monday night and Drew was our server. He was very attentive and great with our kids. We had the brick chicken, vegetable skewers, and kids grilled chicken with vegetables and coconut rice. All was tasty and we ate every bite. Our drinks were great as well. The atmosphere was lovely - we had a beautiful breeze from the ocean a block away and listened to excellent live music.“

I wouldn't say they are actually famous though. There was nothing special about the lobster roll. Just a good classic roll with a good amount of lobster. I would absolutely go back for one. My wife and I split a cold and a hot. I preferred the cold she preferred the hot. I thought the hot could have used a touch of salt.“

“During our stay at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, we had dinner at the Burlock Coast Restaurant located within the hotel. The food and service were spot on. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. We enjoyed some cocktails and shared a few appetizers, including the shrimp cocktail. After that, we took a lovely walk along the beach, which is right across from the restaurant.“
