“Finding ACTUALLY good pizza in South Florida has been hard. Especially when my husband (from Brooklyn) can never really find a place that sticks out to him…. Until today. Wow.

I’m writing this on my way back home and honestly, just recalling the meal keeps giving me the warm and fuzzies. I originally went to Bella Roma because they had Khachapuri on the menu which is pretty rare. The only other place I’ve had it that is actually good is KavKaz, this one was better! First of all because of their ingredients and their crust. It’s perfectly crisp but also airy, combined with the cheese and the egg, wow. It’s honestly addicting and I wish I would have gotten another one.

BUT THEN THIS HAPPENED!

My husband loved the crust on this that he said, the pizza had to be good. Oh and he was right. That crust, ZERO FLOP which is rare when you pair it with stracciatella! It held up. We ate an entire pie of the spicy pep and honestly… I was tempted to order another khachapuri. This only happens when you go to places that use good ingredients. Kind of like what happens when you eat pasta and pizza in Italy. It’s HIGH QUALITY. My husband said it reminded him of L’industrie Pizzeria. Which is a HUGE honor. Especially from him. He’s usually super critical. My only wish would have been some hot honey with my pizza but tbh, that would have been gluttony. The place was TOOO good.

We also tried their sandwiches because their bread is baked in house EVERY DAY. How they managed to make chicken parm sandwich feel light is pure magic. Wow.

I heard this place has been open for a while but they have new management and WOW. Idk how it used to be but THIS IS AMAZING. The chef knows what he’s doing.

I’ll be making the drive from Miami to this place AGAIN AND AGAIN.“

“Don’t sleep on the Lunch Menu… those paninis are mind blowing. Everything from the fluffy, crispy bread, amazing fillings, and condiments blend together perfectly. It’s quieter and brighter at lunch, so a completely different vibe. Highly recommend!! Hubby loves short rib panini and I crave spicy vodka chicken or ya sista’s cutlet.“

“This was our first time eating here in Grapevine Texas location. My husband and I had a Caesar salad and a meat lovers pizza. The Caesar salad was huge and we took home half of it. The pizza is crispy and fresh out of the oven. It was a great meal. We had a friendly and knowledgeable, waitress named Kelsey. On the way out, we met the owner Luis. He was very friendly and took the time to talk about their restaurants and all the other locations they had. We will definitely be back.“

“I had such a great experience here tonight. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with the calamari, which was cooked perfectly—light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The garlic rolls were insane… honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. We shared a house salad, and it was huge—definitely big enough to split. Everything tasted super fresh, and the balsamic dressing was perfectly drizzled and flavorful without being overpowering. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta. I’m pretty picky about marinara sauce (and I’m Italian, so I hold places to a higher standard), but everything was completely on point. The flavors, the sauce, the portion—just really well done. What made the experience even better was the owner coming over to talk to us. She shared details about the food and the restaurant, which made it feel really personal and welcoming. They also host special wine tastings at the end of the month with a curated menu, which I definitely want to come back for. We didn’t try the pizza this time, but I already know I’ll be back. They offer thin crust and even a deep dish that you can order ahead (about an hour in advance), which sounds amazing. It’s a smaller place, but it’s cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be back—and next time I’m saving room for dessert (if I can stop myself from eating all the garlic rolls again).“

The ricotta cheese was bland and caused the dough to be soggy. Will not order this again, but do plan to return to try regular pies. Please, please ask wait staff to not clear table while guest is still eating. Place was not busy, no line waiting thus no need to rush .“

Meatballs and salad came at once which would of been fine if the pizza we ordered didn't come out a minute into our appitzzers. They didn't come back to clear our dirty plates or appitzzer plates. Didn't asked if we wanted new plates for the pizza. Plus we had to continuously ask for refills on our drinks from different wait staff. Plus the table next to us was getting rained on by the air conditioning that was in the ceiling. Don't know if management did anything for them. I don't know if they offered to move them. That in itself is a health code violation.“

“If you're going to order Hungry Howie's, from this Deerfield Beach location, I suggest you don't do it from Uber. Not just one time, but a good amount of times they don't pay any attention to special orders. All I asked for was no cheese and they couldn't do that. When I called them and told them they told me that either I can order it again through Uber which I would have to pay for it again, or I can drive and pick up what I ordered. What would be the point if I ordered it through Uber. I guess I wasn't important enough to have them send the right order to me even though they screwed it up again. When I went in again to pick up my food they offered me a very weak apology which didn't really mean much since that's all they offered even though they took a half hour out of my time to pick up what they were supposed to deliver. That is the end of my Hungry Howie's business. I will be sure to describe this situation on my podcast. pizza was burnt also“

Instead of just saying I’m sorry and don’t worry about the bill they asks for another card. Now we are having to cancel a card they lost and running late to get my nephew back his broadway show tour at the performance arts center because we are looking for the card. “We ordered through DoorDash. Our door dasher forgot our pizza!! Eric the owner happened to hear me on the phone with Mike trying to get door dash to fix it and redeliver and Doordash refused to do it. But Eric called me back and personally met me near by to deliver the pizza himself!! If Pirmanti Fort Lauderdale was my fav pizza spot before now this location has been added to my favs & you will always have our business!! Great customer service does still exist!! Thank you all for not letting or dinner get ruined!!“
