“Relaxing place on the marina, with delicious food and custom cocktails. I had dinner on a Wednesday on February here, Cuban sandwich, first with a key lime martini. There was a singer after happy hour ended. The restaurant was tucked in the neighborhood, but it was worth the search.“

“We didn't read the reviews enough to understand that this is a take out only place. So, we almost did not stop. But so glad we did. The Addiction Kitchen doesn't look like much from the outside, next to a convenience store. And the inside doesn't add much either, just a room with a couple counters, and some refrigerators. When we arrived, 3 cute young children came out to take our order, we took a while to figure out what we wanted so eventually the owner came in and helped out.While there some regulars came in, and said they drove 45 minutes to come here. We ended up ordering a 10oz Sirloin Steak, Cajon Shrimp Alfredo Penne, and Country Fried Chicken. As sides we got mashed potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes, and the penne mac&cheese.The food was so good. Everything was awesome, pictures and words can not do it justice. This was some of the best food that I have had, such a hidden gem. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area. I plan to try the ribs next time!“
“Awesome, local, family owned restaurant right on federal highway, look for the blue roof on the east side in Lighthouse Point. GREAT seafood, sushi, and more, like burgers and salads. Service is always great with a smile! Happy hour, specials, music and always laid back. Seafood retail shop as well.“

Also the fish & chips are so fresh just like the Mahi (Dolphin) The only thing I was suggest is if a soggy bottom bread bothers you tell them to put the sauerkraut on the side. It personally didn't bother me because it tasted nice and sour but a lot of people don't like it soggy, All in all I give it five stars!Vegetarian options: You can get veggie burgers & salads of all sorts.Parking: Easy to get in and out of and right behind CVSKid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and fish that they can see as you walk in.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp going up and around the restaurant It looks like They did a decent job.“

“Cap's was recommended to us by a local who told us about this unique restaurant. First, you are shuttled to the island restaurant by a water taxi. Captain Joey was adept at driving that thing! Second, this place was obviously very old as there was not one straight wall outside. It was like being in a nautical fun-house. Third, our waitress Melissa was warm and funny. She was like a floor show all in herself. And fourth, the food was outstanding. We had a killer crab cake and escargot to start; my wife had scrimp scampi over pasta and I had a fried red snapper which was perfectly done. The place was hoping on a Friday night and without reservations, we waited almost an hour. Understandable but the hostess was anything but hospitable! She was short with us and jumped on us as we went back inside to be out of the wind that 'it's not even 10 minutes'! Yikes, I was paying to eat there, she could have been nicer. The bartender wasn't very friendly either, neither the hostess or the bartender eked out even the smallest of smiles. It was busy but if it's too busy for them or they were too old, maybe get more help. Regardless of that, the kitchen serves the food quickly and Melissa was attentive and funny; and the food spoke for itself! Give it a try for yourself. Well worth the grouchy staff...“
“The Fish Shack is a neat little restaurant with a "small family diner" type of vibe. The place is busy most of the time and the locals frequent The Fish Shack on a regular basis. They have a long list of "fresh catch" items as well. We had the swordfish and hogfish, which was something I had never tried before. Food was excellent and the fish was served hot off the grill! We always split a slice of key lime pie and their home-made version was very good - not quite as exotic and fancy as some of the higher-end restaurants do, but the flavor was very key lime!I highly recommend that you include The Fish Shack as one of your lunch or dinner stops when in the Lighthouse Point/Pompano Beach area!Parking: It's in a small shopping center, so parking is pretty easy.“
