“I hosted my baby shower at Oceanic and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The Southern Room upstairs was the ideal size for our 40 guests. Spacious yet intimate, with such a beautiful atmosphere and access to a private balcony overlooking the beach. Our event coordinators, Casey and Maria, were incredible to work with throughout the planning process. They were both organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making everything seamless.

The buffet options were fantastic, our guests are still raving about the chicken and waffles, and the donut hole bar was such a fun and delicious hit. On the day of the event, Bobby and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, helpful, and truly made us feel taken care of.

We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the food, service, and overall experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. Highly recommend!“

“Cajun boil is my teenage son's favorite restaurant! I must explain why. We have tried a variety of seafood boils over the last few years and Cajun Boil at the Broward mall has the best sauce. It's creamy, thicker than other boils, and packed with flavor. Now that we've had this, we can't go back to a boil with a watery texture. We also know that when we come to Cajun Boil, we are going to get our food in 5-10 minutes from ordering. It's amazing. They also use these large pans that keep the seafood hot throughout the entire duration of your meal. I was surprised that even to the end, our seafood were hot.

Prices are high but what seafood spot isn't? We average $50/person here but the crawfish and crab legs are worth it! Highly recommend.“

“I can't get enough of this place; everything is fresh and tasty and the prices are good. I'm there at least once a week and drive a half hour for their mahi mahi. The lobster rolls are big and meaty and the shrimp is always prepared perfectly.“

Seated with reservation for mother's day dinner on time. Excellent service. Unfortunately the twin lobster tails were overcooked, as was the Wahoo. I was told they were discontinuing the Wahoo as the fillets were half thick and half thin making them difficult to prepare properly. Expresso martini was good and reasonably priced. The fish and chips were cooked properly and was very good. I did tell management before I left. As I say in my bio, I did not ask for any compensation for the over cooked meals as I'm consistent in not taking anything that could be considered as influencing my reviews. I let them know to correct the issues for the future.“

“Tonight my wife and I had two guests , one from out of town , and we spent a few hrs on the boat. We stopped here for dinner and it was packed. A server named Allie came over and checked to make sure we were on the list.When we were seated Allie took great care of us and the meal was great !!! We ordered the risotto a la huancaína with lomo saltado and the entraña, and both dishes were absolutely delicious also absolutely amazing drinks! Passion spritz was redesign and perfect! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly prepared. Great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back!“

This time I tasted the Maine Lobster Chitarra, a half Maine lobster with squid ink pasta and calamari. It was excellent.
This is the reason why I keep coming back to this place so often. This time, Big Jim was our waiter. Very efficient and friendly.

“I’m not sure if I put up a review as I intended to yesterday, but this was my first visit to JB’s, I was in the mood for seafood and decided on the lobster scramble, especially because I got a free mimosa lol. I will say that the valet was well worth the price, especially compared to the $30 parking lot on the other side of the street. Do NOT go to that parking lot!
Their coconut Mojito was made with great ingredients and did not taste artificial. My only grip with the food is that while it was a lot, the eggs were a bit burned on the bottom. This usually leads to dry eggs, and after eating a quarter of it, I decided to save the rest and try to salvage at home (yes, you can reheat eggs in a pan with new scrambled eggs)
The benefit of the lobster scramble was that I got a free mimosa, so I won’t complain.
The decor and layout are really nice inside and don’t appear like it would be stuffy in there if it were full. I went on a Sunday around two and the wait to sit outside was 15 to 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad, but it was so hot. I don’t think it was worth waiting. Otherwise no complaints. No complicated interactions or improper service. Nice stuff, prompt service.“

“Hooks Catch Seafood in Coral Springs delivered one of the best casual seafood meals we’ve had in a long time. Everything arrived hot and seasoned just right—flavorful without being salty. The team working there is genuinely kind, and we even had the chance to meet the owner’s son, who was just as friendly and welcoming.

The blackened catfish was absolutely perfect, cooked with care and great flavor. The French fries deserve their own mention: crisp, clean, and cooked in their own dedicated oil, which means no contamination and no heavy salt. The chicken was just as impressive—hot, juicy, and full of flavor.

The restaurant is kept clean, including the bathroom, and they offer drink refills, which is always appreciated. Hooks is the kind of place where the food is great and the people make it even better.“
