“I love coming here with my kids. They loved the Hawaiian shaved ice. Have gone to Hawaii and ate Hawaiian ice there- this is just as good! The owner suggested to add condensed milk on my shaved ice….WOAH! This was a game changer. It was absolutely delicious and I wanted more. I also put one scoop of ice cream on the bottom of the cup and then they put the shaved ice on top. It’s a must try! I really appreciate how the ice cream is homemade and the owner is really creative with creating new flavors. “I have gotten Ice Cream here numerous times. My Aunt was the one who found this place and found out they had Banana Pudding Ice Cream. OMG.. TO DIE FOR...I believe this is a family run business and it definitely geared towards families with indoor games as well as outdoor outdoor sitting, patio and games as well. Over the weekend they have a cookout which seems to bring alot of business for them. At night if the parents want a nice night out they also offer alcoholic beverages with sweet treats as well. They include a little something for everybody. I have not had a bad experience yet. Nor do I intend on it. The employees are attentive and and create a welcoming environment.“

It's just as amazing as it sounds.They have signature creations, or you can build your own. I have a pretty intense Thai tea addiction, so I went with that one and I would highly recommend it. “Saturday January 13th my couisn and I stop in. We Usually go to the one on Hollywood Boulevard, but we were in the area. She had a Oreo overload with a warmed waffle bowl, that was nice and I had a new item falling for chocolate. It was amazing. The service was fast, the customer service was excellent. We are usually at our own 30 minutes to an hour, just waiting to be served but to go in and be served with a small crowd and out under five minutes was spectacular. We will be returning.“
“Small food stall with quick service usually just one or two people working the stand. They have so many flavors to choose from, as well as some sugar free options. They do also serve ice cream for $6; cone or cup. For snow balls small is $3 and medium is $3.50, and so on for large, ex large. My favorite part of my trips to Hollywood beach, quick snowball on the way back to the crib. They also have some picnic benches if you wanna enjoy at the location, they also have other food trucks in the lot.“

In an ideal location, Hof's House of Sweets is right on the corner with a paid lot behind the strip it's located on. The shop itself is so fun with decor and the menu is easy to navigate, although it is so hard to choose what you could be in the mood for. I love their boozy shakes but they pretty sweet, so it's ideal for sharing. Their ice cream flavors have a wide variety so there is something to truly please everyone. They also have a good selection of chocolates. I know they used to carry my absolute favorite- chocolate covered gummy bears, although I didn't see it last visit. “10s all around for Capriccio; we come here often and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is always amazing, space is beautifully decorated and nicely lit, as well as spacious. I like that there are many seating options: nook/booth, table seating, or at the bar. Service is quick (even when we come on major holidays like New Year's Eve) and delightful always. Today we got lobster ravioli and fried calamari as apps. Can't go Italian without some fried cal in my opinion, and Capriccio's doesn't have anything necessarily special about it but it's definitely quality and always a nice opener to a great entree. The lobster ravioli was really good and soft, the lobster was tender and the sauce on the ravioli was great. They also give complimentary bread, which paired well with the ravioli sauce. The entree I ordered was the chilean seabass with asparagus. Can't remember what the waiter said the sauce was but this dish was, unsurprisingly, amazing. The seabass was just as soft and tender as the ravioli's lobster. The sauce was slightly sweet and paired perfectly with the fish. It also went great with the asparagus, which surprised me because I'm usually not a huge fan of asparagus. Also came with grilled veggies (zucchini, peppers, potato). I also tried the pear gnocchi--delicious. The sweetness was just right, and the pear was definitely present and well balanced. The Veal Capriccio w Pasta was honestly delectable. It was done perfectly, so tender and was seamlessly balanced with an equally perfect mushroom and cognac sauce. Practically melted in my mouth. I had the opportunity of trying the snapper of the night as well, but wasn't my dish so I can't speak much on it and also don't know what the sauce contained. The piece that I tried was okay, honestly surprised it wasn't a 10 but even at a lower rating than the rest I'd still say it was an 8! Overall like I said, Capriccio never disappoints!“
