“I do recommend this Carvel location. I have always been a fan of this store and my family and I do come often. We love seeing some of the unique and funny cakes that staff made especially around Halloween with the Beetlejuice cakes. We specifically came to the store today to get a Super Bowl cake last year. You guys did an amazing job with the Super Bowl ice cream cakes, especially featuring Taylor Swift. however, this year we go to the store and there were no Super Bowl cakes available when we asked the two girls that were behind the counter. They had no idea what we were talking about and it seems like we were an inconvenience to their conversation going on at that time. We had asked about the football cake if we could change the border colors and we were told no and again they carried on with their conversation. Unfortunately, we did not feel very welcome here today I will be back for another cake however today missed the mark.“

However, I remembered my mother’s inspiring words, “I didn’t raise no wuss.” I pushed through and paid like the courageous man my mom raised me to be. Then it all changed. Nothing would have ever prepared me for the first bite. The sense of relief, glory, and accomplishment. My taste buds celebrating like they just scored a last-minute Word Cup final goal. The smore scoop alongside the cookies and cream scoop flowed in harmony, like two peas in a pod, with the crunch of the cone as the cherry on top. No regrets.
