“We ordered through DoorDash. Our door dasher forgot our pizza!! Eric the owner happened to hear me on the phone with Mike trying to get door dash to fix it and redeliver and Doordash refused to do it. But Eric called me back and personally met me near by to deliver the pizza himself!! If Pirmanti Fort Lauderdale was my fav pizza spot before now this location has been added to my favs & you will always have our business!! Great customer service does still exist!! Thank you all for not letting or dinner get ruined!!“

“1st time going was pleasant for myself and my wife. Great menu selection. Unfortunately the portions were small as in the Ahi Tuna and Fries. I get more fries at McDonald’s kids meal. 1 appetizer 2 burgers 2 vodka talls with the 20% fee. All came out to be $90. A bit pricey being I had to park on the 3rd floor in the parking garage on a Tuesday night. Great looking restaurant though if you’re into Fords. Revised comment. My wife and I both got sick eating something 🤮“

“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“We had the best dinner at a local Plantation restaurant - we highly recommend Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and even the Manager came over to our table to thank us. I had a beautiful (large) salad topped with Thai steak and it was healthy and delicious. Ron almost always orders a burger and it was cooked perfectly with a large amount of awesome fries. The nice thing we liked about it, also, is that there is a lovely outdoor patio with fans and very comfortable. Our server was delightful, and we noticed that ALL of the servers were smiling and attentive to everyone! Oh, yes, we will be back!!“

“My friend’s dad recently moved to Pompano, so I’ve been playing tour guide, taking them around to all the local spots. J Marks isn’t the obvious pick, it’s not the place that jumps to mind first. But it was rainy, we wanted indoor seating, and I’d only been twice before, so I figured why not. Best decision of the week.We went full appetizer buffet at the table , ahi tuna (my friend officially declared the best she’s ever had, and she doesn’t hand that out lightly), and mussels in a sauce so good it could go toe-to-toe with any top Italian kitchen, with just the right kick of spice. High praise since her dad is Italian and doesn’t hand out Italian-sauce compliments easily either. I don’t even eat mussels and I was fighting for bread to mop it up and the kitchen had our back, sending out garlic bread with the mussels, then the waitress swooped in with an extra basket of piping hot homemade rolls just for sauce duty. We also ordered the calamari, lightly fried and perfectly crisp, with her dad specifically requesting “as many tentacles as possible”, he said it was the most tentacle action he’s gotten at a restaurant in years. Crab cake was solid too- not the best I’ve ever had, but absolutely worth ordering. And dessert was the “seven layer” carrot cake, which was really six layers by my count, but every one of them delicious. My extremely picky-about-espresso-martinis girlfriend gave hers the ultimate compliment: she ordered three. (Don’t worry, I was driving.)The real MVP moment though: her dad has cochlear implants and serious tinnitus, and the speakers overhead were doing him no favors. We flagged the hostess, the manager Dani, came right over and personally turned down the volume in our whole section, then chased us down on our way out to hand him her card , “next time, call me directly, I’ll take care of everything.”Service was a 10/10. In this day and age, that kind of care is basically a unicorn sighting. Huge shoutout to the kitchen and an even bigger one to J Marks for hiring people who actually give a damn. Already planning our next visit!“
