“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“So I needed a place to eat/celebrate my birthday and MOST places when you have a big party (we had 18x ppl) wanna give you a set menu or charge you for this and that or just WONT TAKE RESV with this number :( . BUT, we had no issue at all booking here!!! And aren't we super HAPPY we did!!! From walking in and the hostess wishing me a Happy Birthday and she was just a pleasure , to the staff being highly entertaining and engaging, to the FOOD (omgggggg YUMMY)!! We all ordered appetizers, salads, dinners, and desserts and EVERYTHING was PHENOMENAL!! We had zero complaints and for being such a large party that's usually impossible! “My friend’s dad recently moved to Pompano, so I’ve been playing tour guide, taking them around to all the local spots. J Marks isn’t the obvious pick, it’s not the place that jumps to mind first. But it was rainy, we wanted indoor seating, and I’d only been twice before, so I figured why not. Best decision of the week.We went full appetizer buffet at the table , ahi tuna (my friend officially declared the best she’s ever had, and she doesn’t hand that out lightly), and mussels in a sauce so good it could go toe-to-toe with any top Italian kitchen, with just the right kick of spice. High praise since her dad is Italian and doesn’t hand out Italian-sauce compliments easily either. I don’t even eat mussels and I was fighting for bread to mop it up and the kitchen had our back, sending out garlic bread with the mussels, then the waitress swooped in with an extra basket of piping hot homemade rolls just for sauce duty. We also ordered the calamari, lightly fried and perfectly crisp, with her dad specifically requesting “as many tentacles as possible”, he said it was the most tentacle action he’s gotten at a restaurant in years. Crab cake was solid too- not the best I’ve ever had, but absolutely worth ordering. And dessert was the “seven layer” carrot cake, which was really six layers by my count, but every one of them delicious. My extremely picky-about-espresso-martinis girlfriend gave hers the ultimate compliment: she ordered three. (Don’t worry, I was driving.)The real MVP moment though: her dad has cochlear implants and serious tinnitus, and the speakers overhead were doing him no favors. We flagged the hostess, the manager Dani, came right over and personally turned down the volume in our whole section, then chased us down on our way out to hand him her card , “next time, call me directly, I’ll take care of everything.”Service was a 10/10. In this day and age, that kind of care is basically a unicorn sighting. Huge shoutout to the kitchen and an even bigger one to J Marks for hiring people who actually give a damn. Already planning our next visit!“

Terrell was exceptional! I sat at the bar surrounded by huge TV’s watching College Football! Love this place!!!
It was my first visit here and Terrell assisted with my burger choice .. They have a very diverse amazing menu-

“I invited 4 ladies for our Supper Club to join me at Seasons 52, which is usually held at one of our homes (we've been meeting for 15 years). With a few ladies out of town, this time we chose to get together at a restaurant, and I chose Seasons 52 because it is consistently a great choice. The food, the atmosphere and the service. Brenna was so helpful in suggesting a sparkling wine and flatbread to start, ready for us just as we were seated. The table was just perfect, very quiet. And the food was delicious. We so enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and hospitality for our Supper Club dinner.“

“We had such an amazing wedding experience at Galuppi’s! Rain or shine, Ray and his team made sure our wedding day was unforgettable. My husband and I hosted our big family of 130 guests, including lots of children, on the Deck and Ceremony Terrace, and everything came together beautifully.

The weather caused us to make some adjustments to our original timeline, but Ray and his staff used their best judgment and experience to keep everything running smoothly. They were pleasant, accommodating, and helpful throughout the entire night, which allowed us to simply enjoy our wedding with our family and friends.

Our guests absolutely loved the food — and the kids especially could not stop talking about the chicken tenders! 😂 It made us so happy hearing how much everyone enjoyed themselves.

The vendors Ray recommended were also phenomenal. They were professional, made my family and me feel completely comfortable, and worked so well together with Ray and the Galuppi’s team. It truly felt like everyone was working together to make our day special.

We are so grateful to Ray and the entire Galuppi’s staff for helping make our wedding such a fun and memorable celebration. I would absolutely recommend Galuppi’s to anyone looking for a wedding venue, especially if you have a big family like ours!
