“I hosted my baby shower at Oceanic and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The Southern Room upstairs was the ideal size for our 40 guests. Spacious yet intimate, with such a beautiful atmosphere and access to a private balcony overlooking the beach. Our event coordinators, Casey and Maria, were incredible to work with throughout the planning process. They were both organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making everything seamless.

The buffet options were fantastic, our guests are still raving about the chicken and waffles, and the donut hole bar was such a fun and delicious hit. On the day of the event, Bobby and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, helpful, and truly made us feel taken care of.

We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the food, service, and overall experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. Highly recommend!“

“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

We tried the plain cheese & we all enjoyed it. We also did breakfast here one day and it was very good as well! A nice diner style breakfast!“

If you are looking for an amazing old fashioned, I would suggest this place because they have a very large bourbon collection. The bartender was extremely friendly and very attentive. Our waiter Daniel and manager Robin gave us the most spectacular service. They were so apologetic for an issue that was never their fault. They helped save my Mother’s Day. I wanted the baby back ribs; but, was told it was no longer available as an option. So, I ordered the St. Louis styled ribs, w/ collard greens and mac n' cheese. The ribs were tender and very tasty. The mustard bar-b-que sauce was delish. The mac n' cheese was very good and cheesy. And, the collards were awesome. I was thoroughly pleased w/ my meal. “This restaurant is exceptional! we went with our family after our civil ceremony and their service was beyond expectations. they made every effort to accommodate us as we found them very last minute and the weather turned rainy and windy suddenly. we wanted to sit outside, and they reserved the table without hesitation and then afterwards accommodated us inside when the rain started. They were so attentive, courteous, and made sure we were all taken care of. they had live music with an excellent singer who was talented and played with our kids and sang with them. the hostess Sally, was kind and sweet and very attentive!. Michael was a great server as well. ! all of them were great! the food was superb! great tasting with many options and excellent quality. thank you so much for making our night special.
