We’re foodies based in NYC and seasonal Floridians and this one of our favorites ! Last night our server Orin and Chef Ivan outdid themselves!! Everything was fabulous!! Great food and service!
American Tapas Bar has a FANTASTIC ambiance. Very Gastro Pub-ish! A secret gem hidden within Fort Lauderdale and worth the treasure hunt. If and when you go, Orin was the BEST waiter to experience this with. GO NOW!!!
Went with the lady on a friday and it was busy, I strongly recommend make reservations in advance, food was really good, i ordered smoke bourbon and it was right on point, wine for her, great atmosphere, the guitarist (I think his name is Danny) was amazing, he played a very wide range of tunes, from jazz to 80s, 90s 2ks...perfect volume, I wish they open til a bit later, after those drinks and the great music your body wants to dance, they close at 10pm...for dessert we got smarsh...read full review

The lively vibe is enhanced by live music, with a guitarist and singer providing a beautiful background. The staff are friendly, personable, and helpful, with bartenders serving excellent cocktails such as espresso martinis. The manager ensures every visit is smooth and enjoyable. While some guests have noted concerns about food temperature and service speed, many guests have enjoyed the overall atmosphere and quality. The ambience is suitable for both weekdays and weekends, and the entire menu reflects quality and freshness in every bite.
