“May 2026, Anthony our Server was wonderful friendly and he took great care of our table. We ordered Pizza with mushrooms that was great tasting and the prices are comparable to other restaurants. The inside was clean and lots of tables and booths. Plus they have a Parking Lot in-front so you shouldn’t have a problem finding parking. I cannot say a bad word about this restaurant.“

“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

“We had the best dinner at a local Plantation restaurant - we highly recommend Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and even the Manager came over to our table to thank us. I had a beautiful (large) salad topped with Thai steak and it was healthy and delicious. Ron almost always orders a burger and it was cooked perfectly with a large amount of awesome fries. The nice thing we liked about it, also, is that there is a lovely outdoor patio with fans and very comfortable. Our server was delightful, and we noticed that ALL of the servers were smiling and attentive to everyone! Oh, yes, we will be back!!“

“Such a lovely safe haven for those at sea and vacationers looking for a place to rest before a cruise! There are tons of activities for kids like air hockey, foosball, and more while you wait for the food. We had the grilled chicken special (off menu) and gyro plate. The team working there is genuinely kind, and we even had the chance to meet the owner’s son, who was just as friendly and welcoming.

The blackened catfish was absolutely perfect, cooked with care and great flavor. The French fries deserve their own mention: crisp, clean, and cooked in their own dedicated oil, which means no contamination and no heavy salt. The chicken was just as impressive—hot, juicy, and full of flavor.

The restaurant is kept clean, including the bathroom, and they offer drink refills, which is always appreciated. Hooks is the kind of place where the food is great and the people make it even better.“

What truly elevated our evening was the excellent service. Josh was professional, highly attentive, and made some fantastic menu suggestions that the whole table loved. “I returned to J Alexander's after a hiatus due to an unfortunate experience for my dinner party. The service and food quality was well below my memories for this location.

Last evening we were greeted with a friendly host team, sat and our servicer greeted us moments later. Our server was Chanel, and she hit ALL points of service making our meal enjoyable and unrushed. The food quality was back to the standard I knew of this restaurant, and will definitely start recommending the location again, as I did in the past.

You walk in and your immediately transported to a speakeasy inspired venue space with some of THE BEST PIZZA I’ve had the pleasure of indulging in. Better than NY pizza hands down and I’m from NYC. The edges of the crust were crispy to perfection with a beautiful focaccia like interior. Make sure you order the “Ba Wit Da Za” hands down my favorite! The bartenders and servers are just as cool as the place is. Fun, edgy, full of energy and super knowledgeable on their menu. The Chef there really knows what he’s doing. A stellar experience, cannot wait to try another pizza! Every time I go I plan to try a different one, they had so many to choose from!“
