“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

We had a 7 o'clock reservation, once we got seated our server Angie started with our drink orders. Let me tell you the service was impeccable; she was great dealing with 20 of us. From appetizers to the main course our food came to the table hot and delicious. Some of my friends were there for the first time and could not believe how well the place ran for a busy holiday. The first one was customized (Autumn salad) and although everything was told to the young man at the beginning, he omitted half of everything that was needed to make a salad. Now the 2nd order was a market plate (honey adobo), not sure why he added black lentils, no lime and tajin and a piece of chicken so small, you would have thought it was a kid's meal. So, if NO was an answer if I would return.“

The Chicken Zuckerello, Chicken Michelangelo and the Chicken Scarpiello were delicious, flavorful and the portions are plentiful. We took the leftover Chicken Michelangelo and Chicken Zuckerello home and had them for dinner tonite. The Chicken Milanese could have been better, a little bland and quite dry. Overall, though, a great dining experience.“
