“Last time, I gave this place a good review. Now, not so much. As a local, my friends and I laugh at how bad the bar service is. It's like they go out of their way NOT to make eye contact. I just sat at the bar for 10 minutes, with a dirty bar in front of me and never got service. Bartenders have no sense of urgency. Staff needs a good wake up call in our collective opinion! Happens over and over again...“
“Had the pleasure of dining in at Anthony's Clam House. We come all the way from New Jersey just for the clams! Everything was excellent especially the linguine vongole and the Tuscan shrimp. The atmosphere is very nice. The service was awesome, we were blessed to have Angela as our waitress, she was a sweetheart. She checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. 10/10 overall and I look forward to coming back!“

I saw reviews were good, so we just popped in.. we might've dressed a little less casually if we knew what a great vibe this place had. “I found spot randomly driving around and it seemed like a cool place so I came in by myself. An extremely polite gentleman invited me to the bar and took my order. The service was fast and professional. I ordered 3 street tacos and I got beef, pork and chicken. I was blown away at how delicious this food was. Easily the best tacos I've ever had. I also really enjoyed the Quvo Named craft beer. I was surprised to learn that the gentleman and woman serving me were the owners! I'll definitely be returning.“

“SOOOO MUCH FUN! we went in a big group of friends and literally came back a month later. Axe throwing was super fun and entertaining, got competitive too!! Our axe instructor was super nice too.Food is also super great! We got tater tots!!Great place for friends or date night“
“It’s a cool place, I won’t take that away from them. But I’ve been there a few times and there’s definitely an “in” crowd that seems to be there every time I go. Kind of feels cliquey. And I’ve asked for flavored tea a few times and idk if they’re out or just not listening but I end up with a non flavored tea that I just kind of accept and deal with. It would be nice if the bartenders or whatever you call them actually ask your name or say thank you after you pay them instead of just walking away. Just seems like there’s two rungs of service.“

“The Golden Lion Pub is our go-to spot for a reliable drink and a warm atmosphere. We visit a few times a month and are never disappointed. The pub is always bustling with energy, but William, the fantastic bartender, always manages to make us feel welcome and attended to. His kindness and attentiveness to every customer's needs are truly impressive. He sets the tone for a friendly and inviting experience. Keep up the great work, William! “Short and sweet here. I will say if you're vegetarian, there's like no options besides the giant pancake that I highly recommend. Apparently there was a veggie burger that i did not see, so i can't give perfect advice here. Coffee man... there's not really any coffee that hurt, felt like I was coming into an Ihop with breakfast styled food but no real coffee. Anyway the service? Man, these ladies were trying so hard to keep the disappointment from me from spiraling just her excitement and positive attitude helped not dislike this place entirely.If you're gonna get anything, get the pancake! Best advice I can give.“
“We haven't been here in 7 years. It used to be a local spot on the water with good deals. They've done a little remodel on the deck, and now the prices are full on. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday and the deals are not that amazing. The views are still great, the food was okay.“

“We LOVE Joe!!!! My friend desperately wanted to play Pool so we stopped by this bar, not sure what to expect. It was one of those nights you expect to turn in early but end up having so much fun that you stay out for much longer. The bar has 3 pool tables, 3 dart boards, and some video games. Bring cash if you want to play pool! No beer on draft but a good selection of beer options. Joe was the only one working the bar and he made us feel at home even though it was our first time here. I think he is a huge part of why folks come and stay at this bar.“
“Went to this rooftop for a girls day and it was beyond my expectations. Everything about it was a 10/10. The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were top notch. Had a few plates to share and into the sunset cocktail. The music and views were great. Cant wait to be back!“
“I thoroughly enjoy dining at this restaurant located alongside the New River in Fort Lauderdale. Sitting on the dock, watching boats pass by, adds to the charm. First, I savor my cocktail, and then I indulge in the particularly delicious appetizers.Today; my spouse, my son, my daughter-in-law and my grandson joined me for another visit. Once again, we sat on the dock right by the water. However, I must emphasize that making a reservation a few days in advance is essential; otherwise, securing a table can be quite challenging.Happy hour drink specials are available every day between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, and except for weekends, there are happy hour food options on weekdays. You can also visit for Sunday brunch from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, although we usually come here exclusively for dinner.As always, we ordered a variety of starters to share. The Guacamole, Spicy Sautéed Shrimp, Crab Cake, Loaded Potato Dipper and Pepperoni Flatbread were especially delightful. However, I found the Steamed Mussels somewhat mediocre and not to my taste. Previously, there used to be a delicious octopus dish with a special sauce and potatoes, but unfortunately, it was absent from the current menu. When I inquired, I was informed that the chef had changed, and the dish was no longer offered. It truly was a starter worth trying, and perhaps they’ll reintroduce it after some time.Even if you’re not in Fort Lauderdale, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the nearby cities. Especially if you appreciate waterfront views and enjoy watching different boats and yachts pass by while dining, it offers a truly unique and elegant waterfront dining experience. Boaters can also dock their boats here for a meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicapped parking lots are available just in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are a lot of paid parking lots next to the restaurant.“
“The DJ was great! The food was cold and the outfits that the girls were wearing were a bit trashy for the atmosphere. You can be sexy and classy at the same time. Bras and boxer shorts don’t really fit the aesthetic of the theme of the bar. I will visit again and give the food another try since the views are so beautiful and the music is great.“
“Very cool whiskey bar. They are "connected" by a courtyard to Quarterdeck, where you can order food, but we just got drinks. Very good drinks. “If I could have given 10 stars for each category, I would have. Had dinner there last night and have never been more impressed with a restaurant menu, staff, atmosphere... everything. Patricia was my waitress, and was an absolute delight to talk to and to provide us service. She gave us fantastic descriptions of just about everything on the menu, and quite frankly I wished I could have ordered everything because they all sounded great! When I asked her what she liked the most, rather than pick the most expensive thing on the menu, she chose a fish dish that I have no doubt would have been terrific. As it was, I chose the king crab, and my wife chose lobster and steak... and we enjoyed every delicious bite of both entrees. Patricia was promptly there with warm cloths for our hands, to ensure our meals were satisfactory, and to even take pictures of us enjoying the dinner on the patio with a fantastic view of the ocean on a gorgeous 78 degree evening. Again, I cannot recall a restaurant that I enjoyed being at more... and I have enjoyed many great restaurants. If you are ever in the Fort Lauderdale area, do yourself a huge favor and reserve a table at Tuluck's. If Patricia is working, do yourself another favor and ask to be seated in her area. You will not regret it.“
“This very unique old movie theatre vibe bar is a site to see if visiting the Las Olas strip in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. The inside has many movie theatre type billboards displayed around the top and a very relaxed velvet booth with the Palm Room logo displayed on the wall. The bathroom was clean too.“
“Everytime we've visited the area, its been hard to find a nice neighborhood bar. Most places are more like clubs. We were so glad to find Mona's. Everyone - the staff and the clientele- were so cool and welcoming. Dean was the best and the bar back (I sorry I never got his name). Dean went through the history behind the furniture and some of the art. It was a little out of the way but we're so glad we made the trek!“

“Just celebrated my 50th birthday at Fishtails for a long weekend and the food, service and atmosphere were amazing! We danced the weekend away with 80s and 90s bands, ate the most delicious seafood and vegetarian dishes, Sunday gravy with meatballs for the omnivores, Philly cheesesteaks, and had the greatest time with the owner Cathy! We are sad we had to go back home to Philly. Can’t wait to return to the sunshine state again and have cold drinks and delicious food!“

“Freddie’s is a well-equipped a bar for sports enthusiasts: More than a dozen large screens can be tuned to multiple sporting events. As a bar, it had a limited but satisfying beer and liquor selection but offsets that lack of variety with high quality food. The wings are amazing, and there are lots of fried seafood, salads, sandwiches and burgers, all fresher and tastier than you’d expect. This is also a no frills bar for locals, a true neighborhood hangout worth getting to know even if you don’t live in the neighborhood.“

The time I spent there the TV's had interesting media playing so if you're sensitive, not your place. The bartender was super nice and quick to serve you. “This is a great little place and experience. You actually have to check in at the Fort Liquordale liquor store and get a card with a combination on it. After you enter the combination in the massive safe door you are able to proceed to the speakeasy. There you will find some pretty unique drinks and some pretty awesome food. The steak tartare was by far my favorite. It is definitely quality and the flavors are amazing. We tried quite a few other apps and they were all on point. This is a place worth checking out for sure.Parking: Parking is very limited so be sure to get there early.“

“George runs this place like a classic car cigar bar/surf style place but no cigars and every kind of cool person you could ever meet! They have reclaimed furniture, are right next to a small taco place that will bring your food right over to the bar. We were there for 1:00 in the morning on a Wednesday night and he did not close until we were done. They have classic car and motorcycle shows there, definitely a must see!!“

“Josie's Too is a dive bar. And if that's what you are looking for you have to stop in. We were in Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise but wanted some drinks the night before. Josie's was close to our hotel so we Uber'd on over. The bartender greeted us immediately and asked us where we were from etc. This is definitely a bar where everyone knows everyone. We told her we were just in town for the night and wanted a couple of drinks. She asked how we found them...if we had searched for a "dive bar." I laughed and told her that was exactly what I did! We had a blast during our visit. We spent a few hours drinking beers and chatting with the locals. Super friendly group and more than one of them bought us beers. I cannot remember the last time a stranger just bought me a beer to say 'welcome.' Oh, one more thing. Josie's is beer and wine only. Don't come here if you want a fancy cocktail. Do come if you want cold beer.“
“If you read nothing else of my review read this: Bring singles! Yes. These ladies are working hard and deserve every bit of "moulah" that you can hand them as they strut their stuff on stage and through the entire venue! I went with a large group of women for a recent Sunday Gospel brunch (Gospel brunch is back and is the first Sunday of each month) and it was a blast. There are two brunch sittings (one at 11:30 and the other at 2pm) and the energy that these performers have to have to do this show twice is crazy! For one set price, ($39.95) you get a choice of entree (there is an entire range of items from Eggs Benedict, to crabcakes to pasta) and then unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys. For a small upcharge you can also get unlimited frozen cosmos so know before you go! And when I say unlimited, they mean it as bottle after bottle of champagne landed on our table along with pitchers of orange juice. On the day I was there, the audience was made up of bachelorette parties as well as birthdays and just some people hanging out, but whether people were celebrating something or not, everyone came to have fun and this venue ensures that! The service is outstanding, the jokes are flying, and probably my favorite part was at the end when the "man in the mirror" segment was done. The entire experience last about 2.5 hours and my face still hurts from smiling the entire time. Well done, Lips!“
