“One of the best Italian restaurants in the entire city!! The food is fantastic and well-presented. All the staff were amiable and very detailed about the dishes with a boutique atmosphere. My favorite was vòngole, which was really really creamy, and the pasta was made very fresh. Love it!!! Bolonase was also delicious and juicy. The desert was so upscale that we were amazed. If you look for something unique and sound, it’s in dishes. I’ll come back for pizza next time!! Thank you!“
“We came here for my grandfathers 90th birthday and let me tell you it was the GREATEST restaurant experience we’ve ever had ! Aba was our serve and she was absolutely amazing ! Extremely welcoming and made us feel at home! Food was astonishing all thanks to the chef Angelo masanova ! We loved the food so much we came back a second time in one week and to top it off, aba remembered our names and everything we ordered. We recommend this place to everyone and will 100% be coming back ! Thank you Casa D’Angelo !“
“I'm a Restauranteur (Gastrothèque & Wilton Wings) & have to say this place was Amazing! Dean is a Fabulous Server( Best Server In Area) & Guided us! Huge Sharing Portions. We Had The Veal Chop(For 2) & Spicy/Creamy Vodka Pasta! Directly Across from Takato in the Conrad!“
“Decided to make reservations at the last minute and they gladly accommodated it. When we arrived we were greeted by hostess and I believe the manager. He asked if it were our first time and showed us around. The waiter gave us great recommendations and was very attentive. The food came out pretty quickly and was full of flavor. The restaurant itself was beautiful. Loved the decor. Can't wait to try the brunch! Def a nice date night spot.“
“Had the pleasure of dining in at Anthony's Clam House. We come all the way from New Jersey just for the clams! Everything was excellent especially the linguine vongole and the Tuscan shrimp. The atmosphere is very nice. The service was awesome, we were blessed to have Angela as our waitress, she was a sweetheart. She checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. 10/10 overall and I look forward to coming back!“
“When we got stranded without baggage and only the gym clothes on our back for a night, these folks welcomed us in with open arms when no other restaurant in the area would because we didn’t meet their dress code. Food was wonderful as was the staff. Thanks y’all!“
“We had the best experience at Casa Calabria! We ate here last year during a vacation and wanted to come back for dinner here during this year’s vacation because we loved it. The food was delicious. Mario was amazing, we had a great experience with him! We hope to have him again, he was the best!“
“I'm really picky, so I never have too high of expectations... but what a great meal! I saw reviews were good, so we just popped in.. we might've dressed a little less casually if we knew what a great vibe this place had. I loved the decor, the staff was amazing and attentive, and the food was fantastic. We may have to go back to Fort Lauderdale just to eat here again!!GET THE TAMARIND CHEESECAKE. It was seriously amazing.“
“went here with my brother and couldn't be more satisfied. great food, great staff. authentic Italian classics, (yes they do put mortadella on eggplant Parmigiano). had to slurp the last of the white sauce down, I sure wasn't leaving it behind. A+++“
“I’ve lived in south Florida pretty much all my life and there’s finally an amazing pizza joint here. 10/10 best crust I’ve ever had thank you. Will be a frequent customer I wish you all the success. Garlic rolls amazing, chicken wings yummy!!! Roni pie amazing!!“
“This place is a GEM. Thank you, Luca for making my husband's and I experience so amazing! Great atmosphere, amazing service, INCREDIBLE and QUALITY food! We will be sending all of our friends and family here and we will be back. Thanks so much!“
“Me and my family came to celebrate my birthday a couple weeks back. The owner, Fabio runs an amazing staff and is very warm and personable always smiling and making you feel like family. This cozy authentic Italian restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful desserts. I Highly recommend!“
“The food here is amazing. The service is warm and friendly. The ambiance is the same, warm, comfortable and friendly.I love this place. I found it accidentally and now go often.I could go on about the food and the lovely people who work here. see for yourself and like me you will never leave.“
“We had a great friends dinner out as Vittorio and Michele welcomed us heartily and checked in on our table to ensure our delight. Chef Gio's cuisine is consistently delicious and impressive, we enjoyed pillowy gnocchi a la vodka, grilled artichoke salad, luscious eggplant rolatini in a bright tomato sauce and Veal scallopine 2 ways-ABBONDANZA! Everything was amazing as we dined and enjoyed the energetic vibe and amazing Italian Wine list! Our friends can't wait to come back and neither can we!“
“This is truly a small Italian restaurant to treasure. Roberta is the charming Italian woman who is your server. There are about 10 tables inside and about 5 outside. I live much of the year in my villa in Tuscany, so I know good Italian food. One of the nicest things about Roberta's is that they don't offer wines, but allow you to bring your own without a corkage fee. Ironically, they own the Italian market next door which sells wine and will open it for you if you come unprepared.I've been twice. the first time we had lasagna and chicken parmigiana. I always like to try traditional dishes to calibrate the establishment, and she passed with flying colors. Both dishes were about $20.Our second visit we had ossobuco and a shrimp linguine. Both were specials of the night and were $40 and $30 respectively. Though they were both more expensive than any regular menu item, they were well worth it.I have not yet tried her pizza because it is only offered at lunch. This is the opposite of Tuscany where it is impossible to get (real) pizza at lunch.“
“My wife and I and my good friend who lives in Ft. Lauderdale went to dinner tonight as we took him out for his hospitality in letting us stay with him while we visited him from New York.Anyway our dinner was wonderful and the food was amazing and staff and especially our waitress Connie was fantastic, my wife and I will definitely come back on our next visit.“
“I stopped by for breakfast, and had a very pleasant time . Staff was gave a warm welcome and were very professional. They offer fresh cold pressed juices, which was nice. The Garden bowl is a must try. Eating outside near the pool was the perfect start to the day !“
“Death, pandemics, perpetual war, depression, saddness...Now think of the gastronomic diametrical opposite.Thats this pizza. In Florida no less. Buddy from New England obsessed on pizza making and delivers.00 flour, proper yeast yah yah -- the ground rules.GOOD cheese and great crumb.Ufff. Best thing in FLL ain't whats on the beach --- its here.“
“We live in Aventura and we drive to Ft. Lauderdale for the Luigi experience. We have been coming here for years and the food is always amazing. But tonight the service was extra Special. Kris did a phenomenal job serving us. He was funny and his service was on point. Can’t wait to come back and request Kris as our server. Thanks again?“
“Cute garden off the beaten path in Fort Lauderdale. Nice little bar and tables. Italian food. I got the Caesar salad and meatball appetizers and both were good. Friendly people. Good place to go solo if you’re on a trip alone. Good wine selection.“
“My friends call me Shane. I visited Primo's on Sunday March 17th 2024...I would firstly like to say that store was very clean and well kept. I was greeted by William who actually went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of, along with his manager Eddie. I ordered the Italian Hoagie which was completely made with fresh meat, lettuce tomatoes and onions. The bread was so tasty and fresh and with my first bite, I was hooked. To the point that I called and ordered a second sandwich. I was visiting Fr Los Angeles but when I return I will be going to Primos again. Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience ❤ ?.“
“This was my first time here and I’ll definitely return. I ordered the Hawaiian w/ added jalapeño, it was great. Everyone was very friendly and concerned about getting my order ready and correct. I can’t wait to get this again when I’m in town.“
“A five star wouldn't even equate to the incredible experience my husband and I had here last night. This is one of those intimate Italian restaurants you find in romance movies. It's clean and well kept - and has a touch of kitschy art to give the place personality. The ambiance might be a hit but it comes to life because of the owners who treat their guests with incredible hospitality - remaining attentive and generous. They care about their little gem & that is what makes this place what it is. That being said - I could not recommend the Short rib & Risotto enough. Perfectly salted & melts in your mouth. Amazing. We also noted the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection - probably the best we've ever had out. We also ordered the Pear Fagotini which is one of my favorite Italian dishes- & this also was the best I've ever had. Dish sizes are perfect. We enjoyed every single thing we ordered. Go here. I promise you will never forget it.“
“The noise level was crazy loud. Tables too close together, sitting on top of each other. My Steak Florentina was very rare, (ordered med rare), and to be honest had little or no seasoning, so it tasted blah................ Oh forgot, it was cold, sent back. Otherwise the food was OK. Grilled Calamari had NO taste. My 4th time there, this time I was a little disappointed. The flounder was great, cooked perfect. The Sicilian pasta with eggplant over rigatoni was wonderful. Going to wait awhile before going back.“
“The food was excellent! Full flavored and just the right balance of ingredients. The atmosphere was lite and interesting and the staff was superb. The owner, Paulo, came to our table and welcomed us in the beginning then checked on us afterwards. This is a great little place!!“
“This restaurant is amazing! The food is always incredible, live music nightly, beautiful décor, fresh flowers and excellent service! The owners are very hands on make you feel at home!We have been going there for over 25 years and we are pleasantly surprised on each visit!“
“I just got off the plane from NJ and was starving. My father recommended this place for some subs and pizza. The place is very welcoming and the owner is so sweet! Very accommodating to his customers. Great prices too ! I will definitely be coming back.“
“We ordered the Giardiniera Bear pizza and had it delivered to the airport. The order process was easy, it kept me up to date on the order progress, and the pizza was delicious. I will definitely order it again when I’m back in the area. We got the jalapeño ranch dipping sauce and it was also good. The pizza was hot, fresh, and had a nice kick to it. Yum!!“
“We stopped at this bar on the way from Miami to Orlando, it was a success. The food was excellent. We ordered wings (they are grilled) one of the best I have ever eaten, we also ordered a starter of spinach with artichokes that came with a very delicious toasted bread and to finish a pizza, with toasted edges that was delicious (ricotta and meatballs). For dessert we ordered a cheesecake (very American). The service was very good, they were all very friendly. I recommend it to you. With the desire to eat the pizza, I forgot the photo (sorry).Parking: They had plenty of space in their own parking lot to park and eat in peace.“
“My husband and I had the calamari, yellow fin and red snapper dishes - all I can say is WOW ! So delicious! Best ingredients and quality fish - just outstanding- we are returning tonight for our final dinner in Fort Lauderdale- ? we will be back soon - this is an outstanding restaurant/ chef.“
“I waited way to long try this place. Their eggplant/roasted pepper/artichoke focaccia sandwich was amazing. The rosemary garlic focaccia bread was a great complement to the veggies. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. I can’t wait to go back!!“
“Mari’s Kitchen is a must-visit establishment in Ft Lauderdale or at the Hollywood Farmers Market. This is top-level Mama In The Kitchen authentic Italian food type of place. If your name ends in a vowel, you need to come and eat this food :)In particular - I would say Tony is the Maestro of Melanzane and the Amatriciana sauce is next level. But you really can’t go wrong with anything. Every dish is prepared the care or love that Mama puts into feeding her children.“
“We took our group of 7 in for a authentic Italian dinner night. The pizza was amazing. If there were 6 stars, I'd give it.They were kind and it was just so delicious! Worth every penny!Kid-friendliness: We had 2 grumpy and hungry girls, made sure we got the kids served first and checked in a lot.“
“Over the last 8+ years we have been eating from Bella Sera's amazing menu. This is one of the last true "family owned and operated" businesses. They are beyond accomodating, friendly, and thorough. Having had many things from the menu, it's easy to say everything has always been spot on. From the salds, tuna, sandwiches, to the pizza of course, the food is A+. Thank you guys for braving the covid shut downs and being there for us all these years!!“
“I've walked past Caffe Europa dozens of times on Las Olas. Our friends said it's their favorite Italian spot so we all dined here together. Wow the lasagna was incredible!!!! So luscious, cheesy, and flavorful. Loved the bolognese The pizzas were amazing too! Great spot for locals and tourists alike. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather.“
“This might be a long one, and a lot of people might not read. However, I was not paid to write this review or any of my reviews. That being said, my friend Dave and I went to @Sapido Italian Restaurant for dinner for my Birthday. Please note that I'm Jamaican, and he is Italian. We have been exchanging cultural experiences. He made a reservation, but they take walk-ins if not busy, and you can all sit outside. Our serve was #Simona I think that is how she spelled her name. Dave and her were chatting about italy and where they came from the family background. I was listening as well. If you check the star, the service got 4 because I thought the bread should have come sooner when we sit, and the Oliver and Balsamic vingeratte should have been on the table before we got there. So let's get down to the food. The names of the were Rigatoni alla Boscaiola (homemade pasta, ham, mushroom, sausage and creamy Panna white sauce) that is what I had it was Great and well ?. However, my Jamaican came out in me to add a little twist. I hope the manager for @Sapido try this that I am about to tell them. I added the Oliver oil and the Balsamic vingeratte to the dish. OMG, it was DELICIOUS. I cleaned that plate with some additional bread that my friend Dave as for, has he was showing me what they would do in Italy. 5 stars period. Chef kisses.Dave dish was the Gnocchi al Pesto it was great as well, and I did taste it. With the homemade pesto. It was really good.Let me tell you about the desert. Lord Jesus. I promise you should have a desert, but please try the Panna Cotta and the Tiramisu both are homemade. It was light, and it did fill the small space was let. Not sweet but delicious. (You don't need to mix both. You can have them separately)The atmosphere was family like and lovely, small but intimate and friendly environment. If you look in one of the pictures, you will see that the chef photo boomed one of us pictures, which was great. This was not expensive and you can have a group as well. Very beautiful, and I promise to go back and. Visit and hope they will get the 5 for service next time.Thank you, xoxo.“
“Had a wonderful experience at Giannis Table! Michael John was awesome, he made me a delicious espresso martini and lemon drop, and was so kind and engaging through the process! Would highly recommend coming and getting a drink/dinner here, check it out when you can!“
“Delicious. A complete knockout surprise. We were staying in a nearby hotel (walking distance) and it's in a strip mall.... Therefore our hopes weren't too high - although the YELP reviews were pretty decent. My mom and family are Italian, I grew up on homemade ravioli and panna cotta. This place knocked my socks off. Obviously a locals' favorite, the place was full on a weekday night, and lots of people also picking up to go. Many people were recognized as "regulars" conk g i . The staff was super friendly and helpful to us first timers too. Every night they have specials - more of them than the actual menu! And amazing, such as lobster ravioli, chicken piccata, traditional soups like suppa pasta fagiole, etc. And the food was perfectly cooked, well balanced, flavorful, and unique. The warm roasted corn with arugula and walnuts appetizer salad knocked it out of the park for my husband. We also had a special cauliflower gratin apoetizer that was superb, for mains, he had paroadelle with fungi (light and delicious) and I had orichette with chicken livers (rich and delicious). I wish we were staying in the area longer so we could go back and try more of the menu. We split a panna cotta for dessert and it was one of the best I've ever had. We are bookmarking this spot and plan to return. What an unexpected gem. Lovely ambiance too. Make the effort to go here - you won't regret it!“
“We have been saying for months that we should try this place and….I thought it was great. To start, we had the burrata salad and lobster bisque, both were so delicious, the chunks of lobster were huge, and the salad was fresh and light. The bread served was soft and flavorful and the butter was regular restaurant butter. For the main event he got the wagyu steak and I had the snapper in a very delicious sauce topped with crap meat…SO GOOD, better than the steak and cheaper too. The scallion mash was creamy and tasty, and asparagus was not cooked enough for me. We had the most experienced and witty waiter, he was amazing, and talked us into the most delicious dessert. We have the tiramisu with coffee gelato, absolute heaven, light, rich (but not too).“
“Nice place for a really good pizza and food. Ask for the pizza to be well done. We also had the pear ravioli it was nice, but too much cream. Salads were good and plentiful. We sat outside because the weather was perfect, but since the parking lot is right there we smelled the fumes once in a while. Will go back only of a table away from the parking lot is available.“
“Karyn is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.. We come here from Hollywood ONLY because of her outstanding hospitality, friendly attitude, her wonderful attention at making sure everything is perfect for us... She has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to ensure we get the best experience EVERY TIME . SHE NEEDS A RAISE AND TO BE PRAISED!!!! This location is lucky to have such a WONDERFUL server that ALWAYS provides the best service, with a smile... Dan and Cynde LOVE Karyn!! If I could give more stars to her, I would!!! ♥️“
“Perfection. Every single dish was innovative , approachable and delicious. We were furtunate to sit at the counter and witness chef Abbot lead his entire extremely talented Team thru out the evening with assertive kindness, that itself was the real treat . The tasting menu is the obvious choice if you want to be impressed .My husband and I travel the world in search of innovative food……we have found it in Fort Lauderdale.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant and staff were extremely accommodating.“
“Everything was absolutely perfect. The attentive and friendly staff contributed significantly to the overall positive experience. The atmosphere with calm music transported me straight to the heart of Italy. Our very kind server Mike recommended the octopus and we were delighted! As a main course we ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and Rigatoni Eggplant, wow amazing!I recommend and would return a thousand times to try all the dishes.“
“The freshness of all items that were tried, and loved by my wife and I. This is a great local place that treated all guest the same, very informative and knowledgeable of the handmade daily menu items. If you pass this one up while in Fort Lauderdale, you did miss something special.“
“I have to say, the price is worth it. Every single penny. I love this place, I love the pizza, and I love the wings. OMG!! If you are a pizza lover, try them. Is not your typical gourmet. Is it for a family share. Amazing. I've definitely been coming to this place more than what I should.“
“Food was exceptionally good. Service was great. I'm not familiar with this area of town. I drove past the building twice. Which made me late for the group dinner, where everyone had the same dish, which was delicious. The man who approached me as I entered. Told me I was Late loud enough everyone in the restaurant heard him. Rude and unnecessary“
“I was seeing one of my clients in the building, stopped to get a slice of cheese pizza and also got a chicken empanada to go. It was quick, good service, and DELICIOUS! The crust of the pizza is perfect and the chicken empanada was very yummy and authentic! Great experience!“
“Great little place we found today on the way to the museum. Definitely was pleased and surprised because I did not think Pizza this good and fresh existed in Florida. Absolutely delicious napoli style pies and pasta! Of course my kids went crazy over the Americano cheese pizza pie and Nutella pizza dessert which was only $6 and huge. Food came out fast… Prompt courteous service!! Very cool place & we will be back.“
