It came highly recommended by Chris, and it did not disappoint! As someone who is quite picky about Italian food, we were all thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, Salvo and his partner made us feel like part of their family. Their hospitality was incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. Where else can you go where the owner sits down at your table and, within minutes, you’re all singing “That’s Amore”? Salvo got a gleam in his eye and asked me if I wanted to sing! “Toppings is as close as you can get to legit NY/NJ pizza anywhere in Florida. And the legitest of their pies is the Double Hitter .... extra cheese, double pepperoni and fresh garlic. And while I’ve never thought of doing this before, I had them add onions. Wow is all that’s needed to be said. For those that know the Barstool/One Bite scoring system, my scores have always been right in the same vicinity of what Dave’s scored out of the places that we’ve both been to, so my scores are pretty on par. The Double Hitter from Toppings is a solid 8.9 👍“

“Great atmosphere, great food always consistent. Had 20 of my friends there for New Year's Eve dinner. Place was packed as it usually is. Walter the owner was greeting guest as they were arriving. We had a 7 o'clock reservation, once we got seated our server Angie started with our drink orders. Let me tell you the service was impeccable; she was great dealing with 20 of us. From appetizers to the main course our food came to the table hot and delicious. Some of my friends were there for the first time and could not believe how well the place ran for a busy holiday. I want to thank Marco for helping set up the reservation and especially Angie our server. Thank you, Walter, for your hospitality. Anthony's is my new favorite place. Happy New Year!“

Though I did not know he was the chef at first, he made sure I was well taken care of, offering me a bottle of Pellegrino and various food tastings. When I finally told him to just bring me whatever he recommended, he delivered an off-menu dish of tender, flavorful lamb chops in a delectable sauce, accompanied by fresh, grilled vegetables. The food was truly exceptional - it melted in my mouth and left me craving more. I was amazed that this restaurant, which I had never heard of before, could produce such a high-caliber meal. In a moment of panic, I contacted the owner, Jackson, and explained the situation, hoping for a backup plan within 30 minutes (sounds impossible 🥵). Not only did he agree to accommodate us, he immediately began preparing for us. Once we arrived, he and his team welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality.
