She acted as if I was bothering her!The food was good, although it would've been much more pleasant if my grits were in a separate bowl instead of running out on the plate into the omelet. “First time here so we ordered a little bit of everything . HANDS DOWN BEST GRITS I’ve ever had . Waffle hot and sweet and fluffy. Eggs were cooked perfect. Sausage a little too spicy (but would’ve been great later with peppers and onions on a hoagie roll!) and the potatoes - lord the potatoes! Perfect little off the beaten path spot. “My fiance and I had a day to spend in Miami, and he really wanted to try some authentic food. We found this place on Yelp and we were sold on coming! It's a cute little spot with sooo many baked goods. We came from lunch and shared an empanada which was stuffed to the brim and was delicious. He also loves tequenos so we had to get a few. They were huge and were so good. The sauces were to die for!! We also got this corn cake stuffed with cheeses and it was sooo good. The staff were so friendly and gave us great suggestions. Overall we were very impressed!“

“First, should give the employees here credit for trying to get everyone seated as quick as possible during brunch rush. It’s not easy anywhere but they tried to do their best even though they seemed flustered I think everyone sat down pretty quickly. As for the food tried the truffle and mushroom scramble and the salmon omelette and both were excellent. I’ll judge a salmon quality as the cornerstone of all the ingredients and it was very good. Nestled on the DOUGLAS ROAD side of the building (see photos), you can hop up to the terrace (where there are outdoor dining tables) from the northern edge of 1 Alhambra Place. There is also an entrance from the lobby.Although most patrons seemed to be regulars, this newbie was treated like a long-lost friend. A very nice Western Omelet and a large Cafe con Leche made a great start to my day.Parking: Steer parking (pay by phone or at kiosk) is available on Alhambra.Kid-friendliness: There’s room for your stroller and children on the terrace.“

“My first escapade in Miami- and this is the first place my friends and I got food from. A tiny hole in the wall joint with a friendly staff- I have to recommend the Cuban coffee first and foremost. So good! The Steak Sandwich I ordered for myself was huge! Reasonably priced and filling with a big handful of fries on the side. I had to box up half of it and finish it later. My friends got the Midnight and the Ham & Cheese Sandwich. While the Midnight did have good flavor (especially with the pickles!) I'd say mine won. We didn't try the fresh squeezed orange juice- but that looked very good too. Another shoutout to the friendly staff!“
