“We have visited this location twice this month, and both times we had the pleasure of being served by Jered. Without a doubt, he provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind.

He was always one step ahead of us, bringing drink refills before we even had to ask and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. He even brought us to-go refills, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much he cares about his guests.

On our most recent visit, we were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and Jered went out of his way to make her feel special. He was so sweet, warm, and personable that he truly made the celebration even more memorable. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only exceptional at their job but also makes every guest feel valued and welcomed.

Jered is the definition of outstanding customer service. He is attentive without being intrusive, efficient, professional, and genuinely caring. Employees like him are the reason people come back to a restaurant. We will absolutely continue returning to this location—solely because of the experience Jered gave us. He deserves all the recognition for consistently going above and beyond. Thank you, Jered, for making every visit such a wonderful experience!“

“No A/C, but plenty of flies. Country gravy, SOUR, didn't eat it. Asked server if I could have a biscuit instead of toast, she said yes, did not mention it was $3.29, and to add insult to injury, IT WAS NOT WORTH EATING. Left it, a good server would have asked if there was something wrong. As she could clearly see, I did not touch gravy or eat biscuit. Live and learn.“

“The purple haired girl Kayla was the best, our food came out quickly and everything was very delicious. She held great conversation with us and made sure we were completely accommodated by giving us everything we need/asked for! If you ever come in, ask for Kayla she’s incredibly sweet and loving, her costumer service is top tier as well! Whenever I come back I’ll be asking for her! ☺️“

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

“HEAL Café is such a gem. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and beautifully designed—perfect if you’re looking for a place that actually feels good to be in. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell they really care about health without sacrificing taste.
Everything I tried was delicious, and the presentation is just as good as the flavor. It’s the kind of spot you can come to regularly and still feel excited about. Definitely one of my favorite healthy cafés in Miami.“

“I have been eating at original Pancake house since early 90s everywhere I go If there was one in the location I would eat there I only eat 1 thing the apple Pancake today was disappointing because usually the entire bottom has the Granny Smith apples .and today apples Just around the edge half of a Pancake I found 3 slices in 1/2. I think I am finished going out of my way for this particular food. I always get one to go because I live on the other cost.“

“We had Mark C. as our server today and he was amazing! It was my son’s 9th birthday and he wanted to go to the pancake house for brunch. I was blown away with the service and how much Mark went out of his way to make my son’s birthday extra special. My family member even made a joke about the pancakes making sure the red M&Ms were on the side and when Mark brought over the pancakes , he really put the red ones in a little dish on the side. Those little things really made our meal so much better than many places we have gone to in the past. I hope management sees this review and makes sure they know what a star employee they have . Thank you Mark and the other staff that sang to my son and made the start of his birthday so special. I can’t thank you all enough!!!“

“I visited from out of town and wanted some good down home food! I was impressed! I ordered the catfish and grits, Cajun shrimp and grits. Absolutely delicious! 10/10+ Oh and the mango juice was tasty as well! Staff were wonderful! I’ll definitely be back!“

“We had to be in Coral Gables for personal matters and had 2 hours to wait so we were looking for a place hang while we waited for our friend.

Thankfully this little gem was in the building. The coffee here is excellent. If you fancy a good espresso, look no further. It woke me up instantly. And the chicken salad sandwich was very good

“I recently visited this café and I was truly impressed by their new, super extensive menu. They now offer a wide variety of options, including great vegetarian choices, which I really appreciate.

I ordered the smoked salmon toast and it was absolutely DELICIOUS — perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. I also had a fresh orange juice, and it was spectacular — you can really taste that it’s 100% natural and freshly squeezed.

The atmosphere was great, and the overall experience was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from their new menu! Highly recommend.“

“Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising. “Awesome spot for amazing food and warm friendly staff. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and offered mostly take out items but did have outdoor seating if you planned to eat there. We were greeted by Jose who offered us a shot of his new years lentil soup which was so flavorful! He has been there 13 years and with us being new to the area he had offered us sights to see and places to go. So sweet! We ordered the specialty breakfast sandwich with eggs, turkey, ham and cheese on a baguette and a strawberry banana smoothie. Both were very tasty! Before we left Jose offered us a shot of Columbian coffee, bold and good. Overall a wonderful experience and a must go to for anyone staying in the area!“

“What a wonderful place! My daughter and I came here in the morning and had such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing.

The staff are genuinely warm and kind, and we especially want to thank Feodella. She was so caring, patient, and knowledgeable. She made us delicious smoothies and an excellent matcha, and even took the time to recommend the best options for intermittent fasting, explaining which drinks contained sugar and which didn’t. Her thoughtful recommendations and genuine care made our visit truly special.

“While traveling and using public transportation, the city bus dropped us off down the road from Candy's Place and the connecting bus was running late. We walked down the street and discovered Candy's Place purely by accident. We originally went inside to have one beer and walk back to the bus stop. Waited at the bus stop again but decided to skip the bus and go back to Candy's Place because it had such a positive impact on us and we didn't want to leave. Candy's Place is so nice and welcoming inside and as soon as we met the owner and customers we knew right away this place is very special. We spent the rest of the day and evening there, met new friends and everybody made us feel so welcome and at home. Maribel, the owner, is an amazing and beautiful soul...she made us feel so welcome and her Platano Fritos are amazing and her Cuban coffee is absolutely the BEST coffee I have ever had. To Maribel and your local customers...thank you for inviting us in as part of your neighborhood family, we will never forget your kindness and generosity. Our experience was so memorable, we are definitely coming back to see you. If we were local, we'd be there every day.
Candy's Place is clean and neat with a warm ambiance. There is karaoke on the weekends, pool table, juke box, breakfast and lunch is served right there from the kitchen...there's no need to go anywhere else, it's home away from home.“

“Tabitha was my server. I was more than with her service. She wasn't just polite. She went above expectations with all the patience in the world. Thank you so much Tabitha for giving me a wonderful experience. This is why I come-back. Even though the food is also good, but if the service was bad, I wouldn't be coming here. “Typical I hop aaaabut a bit cleaner than in many other places in the USA, and I've been to 17 states and traditionally always in an I hop!
Beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day!! Prices cheaper than in Hawaii or Seattle for example.. was surprised! Food was quick and good even though the ihop was full!“
