“We have visited this location twice this month, and both times we had the pleasure of being served by Jered. Without a doubt, he provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind.

He was always one step ahead of us, bringing drink refills before we even had to ask and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. He even brought us to-go refills, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much he cares about his guests.

On our most recent visit, we were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and Jered went out of his way to make her feel special. He was so sweet, warm, and personable that he truly made the celebration even more memorable. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only exceptional at their job but also makes every guest feel valued and welcomed.

“I recently visited this café and I was truly impressed by their new, super extensive menu. They now offer a wide variety of options, including great vegetarian choices, which I really appreciate.

I ordered the smoked salmon toast and it was absolutely DELICIOUS — perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. I also had a fresh orange juice, and it was spectacular — you can really taste that it’s 100% natural and freshly squeezed.

The atmosphere was great, and the overall experience was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from their new menu! Highly recommend.“

“This coffee shop managed to perfectly blend a comfortable, casual comfortable atmosphere with a distinctly high end feel. It is attached to but separate from the AC Hotel at Dania Pointe. Outside seating is available and there are ample parking options. The coffee is wonderful and there is a FAR above average selection of dessert items, breakfast and lunch fare. Th selection incorporates very typical coffee shop accompaniments alongside some refreshingly elevated options. The staff were all welcoming and willing to answer questions and make suggestions. If you are in town for business this would be a great spot for some remote work, people watching and great bites/beverages. If you are just in need of a quick coffee also the perfect place. I look forward to my next visit“

“While traveling and using public transportation, the city bus dropped us off down the road from Candy's Place and the connecting bus was running late. We walked down the street and discovered Candy's Place purely by accident. We originally went inside to have one beer and walk back to the bus stop. Waited at the bus stop again but decided to skip the bus and go back to Candy's Place because it had such a positive impact on us and we didn't want to leave. Candy's Place is so nice and welcoming inside and as soon as we met the owner and customers we knew right away this place is very special. We spent the rest of the day and evening there, met new friends and everybody made us feel so welcome and at home. Maribel, the owner, is an amazing and beautiful soul...she made us feel so welcome and her Platano Fritos are amazing and her Cuban coffee is absolutely the BEST coffee I have ever had. Candy's Place is clean and neat with a warm ambiance. There is karaoke on the weekends, pool table, juke box, breakfast and lunch is served right there from the kitchen...there's no need to go anywhere else, it's home away from home.“

Asked server if I could have a biscuit instead of toast, she said yes, did not mention it was $3.29, and to add insult to injury, IT WAS NOT WORTH EATING. UPDATE: Ordered again on July 12th, through Door Dash and whoever was in the kitchen PLAYED big time. The eggs look like a ribbon and it’s burnt. The sausage they gave me this time was different from the first time and it taste funny, I didn’t like it. I prefer the other sausage. The grits were good and the fruit punch was good too.“
