“Food was fantastic. we decided to sit at the bar. Sébastien, our bar tender, recommended the appetizer sampler where we got to choose four items. we chose, the muramuah, kibbeleh, cheese rolls and falafel. All were fabulous. the pita bread was homemade and hot. We decided to share the lamb tangeen. The lamb was extremely soft, tender and full of flavor. “The best pho you can get! My fiancé and I order the brisket and eye round pho along with an order of the spring rolls - can’t get enough of the peanut dipping sauce. Their broth truly feeds the soul and is SO flavorful. The noodles are super fresh, homemade and they never miss! The wings are also excellent (get the tamarind style). For cocktails, the spicy passion fruit margarita is a favorite with a tajin rimmed glass. The taro boba milk tea is also a nice non-alcoholic treat. We love coming here on a cold night or a Sunday afternoon to unwind. It’s the perfect spot with great service and quality ingredients.”

“In town for a day and we were looking for a breakfast spot. Ended up seeing this place in the plaza with no wait time so we decided to have brunch. Yal! Brunch was a whole vibe! Good food, 90s R&B, mimosas, and great customer service. The oxtail and ackee was banging I just wish they put more ackee on the plate. The lamb chops were tender and flavorful. My mother-in-law had the chicken and waffles and that chicken was juicy and full of flavor. My 6 yr old had the avocado toast. Everything was good including the St. Patty's mimosas. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town.”

“Walked in after 9pm on a weekday and was thankful to be sat. It was nice and quiet. Never had hotpot before this. Ordered a mild beef hotpot with a side of dumplings, 2 Boba milk teas, mango dessert, and 5 donuts and it was about 61 + tip. (As of March 2024) It was MORE than enough for 2 people. Very delicious, very friendly owner Micheal introduced himself and made sure everything was good.As for the food, if you have a low spice tolerance mild is a good challenge. Flavor-wise it was great. The milk tea was just the right amount of sweet and the cups are cute. 10/10 ?”

“This is the fourth time I visit this place and it never disappoints. We were seated within 2 minutes of arriving. Saturday around 4 pm. Parking is a bit tight because it's located in Pembroke gardens and that shopping center is always packed. I must say my wife's family is spanish and we enjoy a good spanish meal. Compared to food in Madrid this place meets quality and expectations. We had: Pulpo a la gallega: amazing, but different from fried octopus but totally worth it. Patatas bravas: potato with a sauce you just try Croquetas - ham: very good a bit pricey in my opinion for croquetas but they are very good Paella mixta: reason for the 4 stars. First time I don't like it as much, missing salt and flavor, I did let them know as the other times I've been there the paella has been good Stuffed peppers: I'm not a fan but my wife loved them stuffed with fish and she claims they were amazing For any beer fans I recommend you try Estrella de Galicia. Very unique flavor and it was a fave on my visits to Spain so it's great being able to have it here Service was very very good , we were served by Richard who was very nice and attentive to everything we needed.”

Wawa 1600 S Hiatus Rd, Pembroke Pines Fast Food • $

“Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, Wawa emerges not just as a convenience store, but as a sanctuary for weary travelers, busy commuters, and discerning foodies alike. From the moment you step through its doors, you're greeted not just by the sight of neatly arranged shelves and gleaming countertops, but by the warmth of a team dedicated to making your experience truly exceptional. The team at Wawa possesses an unparalleled knack for hospitality. Each member, from the friendly cashiers to the diligent sandwich artists, exudes a genuine sense of warmth and welcome that is both refreshing and heartening. Their smiles are infectious, their eagerness to assist palpable, and their commitment to customer satisfaction unwavering. It's no wonder patrons find themselves drawn back time and time again, not just for the convenience, but for the sense of belonging that permeates every interaction. Now, let's talk about the pièce de résistance: the pastries. Oh, where to begin? The blueberry fritter, a true marvel of culinary craftsmanship, boasts a crisp exterior that yields to reveal a pillowy soft interior bursting with plump blueberries. Each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures, a testament to the artistry of Wawa's pastry chefs. But wait, there's more. The blueberry old fashioned, affectionately known as the "blue berry old fashioned" by devotees, is nothing short of divine. Its delicate crumb, subtly sweet glaze, and generous scattering of blueberries create a harmony of taste and texture that is nothing short of unforgettable. One bite and you'll find yourself transported to a realm where every pastry is a work of art and every indulgence is justified. Now, it would be remiss of me not to address the occasional state of disarray that may greet the discerning eye. But let me be clear: faulting Wawa for the actions of a few would be akin to blaming the sun for a cloudy day. The team here works tirelessly to maintain order and cleanliness amidst the ebb and flow of customers, and while they may not always succeed, their dedication to excellence is undeniable. In conclusion, Wawa is not just a convenience store—it's an experience. From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a world of warmth, hospitality, and culinary delights that linger long after you've left. So the next time you find yourself in need of a pick-me-up or a pastry fix, look no further than Wawa. Your taste buds—and your soul—will thank you.”

The food they have to offer is always fresh and always the best. I am always on the fence on what to order because everything there tastes amazing. My favorite is definitely either chicken Parmesan, the chicken Franchise, the baked ziti, the lasagna, the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and of course the pizza. It’s definitely my favorite place to eat with my girls. I have two girls 17 years old and 14 years old whenever I ask them where they want to go for dinner. They always say John The Baker! “So I do love the setting, and the food is amazing, how ever maybe change the face when you first walk in. The lady today at 12 pm on Jan 11 was so nasty and rude. She literally made me feel so uncomfortable. So much so that I may not go back. I spent $100 on food and all I asked for was some soy sauce and mind you the whole time. She was kind of rude to me anyways so all I asked for was soy sauce for my food that I spent $100 on and she tells me oh it’s in the back so I just wanted a little extra soy sauce I do like soy sauce so when I asked for a little extra she gave me two packets and I said well can I have just a little more please and she says well how much more do you want, so I said about six or seven please and she said six or seven??? And it was so rude. She did not want to give me the soy sauce to the point where she went and asked her manager if it’s OK if I have six or seven soy sauces after I just purchased $100 worth of food absolutely not OK, especially when your guises food is so expensive how it is I cannot say that I will go and eat at this restaurant again or order from there.”

“So this one's a little weird cuz it's kind of a mixed bag for me. While I found the cookies tasty, I did wish there was more than just four varieties, the service was very lackluster, and it would have been really nice had there been one vegan option. But it appears that this is their business model only rotating a few flavors at a time, and hopefully that means that the cookies are high quality. The first immediate pitfall I found with the cookie was one I have found in many of these other large gourmet cookies shops. The cookies are so big so dense and so thick that there's literally no way for them to be evenly cooked throughout. This results in a cookie that is fairly perfect for the outer crust portion of the cookie, and then the entire 2/3 of the inside is basically just uncooked cookie dough. I know some people enjoy eating cookie dough out of the can or out of the mixing bowl, but it really isn't good for you to eat raw cookie dough, unless it is not made with fresh raw eggs.Raw cookies aside, my real issue was with the service. The person behind the counter seemed entirely unbothered by my presence. I hadn't been there before so I asked two or three questions about flavors and packaging. They seemed annoyed by my questions and gave me short curt answers that frankly felt patronizing. So that wasn't very fun. Then there's the actual location itself. The decoration seems clinical and aseptic almost to the point of being unappetizing. There was not one single cookie smell to be sniffed, and in a place with both chocolate chip cookies and supposed sugar cookie dough, that tells me that they're either not really being baked on site or only baked once early in the morning before opening perhaps. Either way, if real estate agents can pop chocolate chip cookies in the oven before a showing so the smell will make a house feel more homey, certainly a cookie ? company can inject a little bit of this homeyness and cookie scent into their stores.... All around was a meh experience. And at that price it really shouldn't be.”

“I'm so happy that Google prompted me to fill out a review.Others have left comments about how the place is very open and friendly. It's very, " where everybody knows your name ". It couldn't be any more true. From my first time walking in. The owner's son, the bartender, greeted me openly and asked which beers I would like to try. It felt like we were already buddies. I've been there twice now with a group of dudes, and my wife. And very fun environment with the lasers, lights, fog, karaoke, video games... I'm so happy to have this locally, so I don't have to drive all the way to downtown to have a club-like experience. I have yet to stay there till the late hours but I hope that there's a lot of noise, singing, laughing, and dancing.I look forward to my next visit.”

“10s all around for Capriccio; we come here often and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is always amazing, space is beautifully decorated and nicely lit, as well as spacious. I like that there are many seating options: nook/booth, table seating, or at the bar. Service is quick (even when we come on major holidays like New Year's Eve) and delightful always. Today we got lobster ravioli and fried calamari as apps. Can't go Italian without some fried cal in my opinion, and Capriccio's doesn't have anything necessarily special about it but it's definitely quality and always a nice opener to a great entree. The lobster ravioli was really good and soft, the lobster was tender and the sauce on the ravioli was great. They also give complimentary bread, which paired well with the ravioli sauce. The entree I ordered was the chilean seabass with asparagus. Can't remember what the waiter said the sauce was but this dish was, unsurprisingly, amazing. The seabass was just as soft and tender as the ravioli's lobster. The sauce was slightly sweet and paired perfectly with the fish. It also went great with the asparagus, which surprised me because I'm usually not a huge fan of asparagus. Also came with grilled veggies (zucchini, peppers, potato). I also tried the pear gnocchi--delicious. The sweetness was just right, and the pear was definitely present and well balanced. The Veal Capriccio w Pasta was honestly delectable. It was done perfectly, so tender and was seamlessly balanced with an equally perfect mushroom and cognac sauce. Practically melted in my mouth. I had the opportunity of trying the snapper of the night as well, but wasn't my dish so I can't speak much on it and also don't know what the sauce contained. The piece that I tried was okay, honestly surprised it wasn't a 10 but even at a lower rating than the rest I'd still say it was an 8! Overall like I said, Capriccio never disappoints!”

“Chicken sandwich: great (no heat) breading flavor and crispiness, good sized moist chicken breast, nice brioche bun, good slaw and homemade pickles were different but hard to describe with only 4 slices to go on. Chicken wings and waffle: great ("hot" heat) breading flavor and crispiness. I like hot, but not the hottest level at most places usually and this was mild enough that I will step it up next time. The wings were on the medium size at best. At first the waffle seemed it was going to be lame since it was hard to cut as it would stretch like an already syrup coated waffle that was reheated in the microwave. But it surprised us with a fried dough flavor and texture that was different, but really enjoyable. Mac was average, will try other sides in the future.”

“Returning from a cruise, we were looking for black owned, local food. My Daughter found this place online. We hopped a Uber on over. The outside of the restaurant could be off putting. But we didn't let that deter us from getting to the goodness. It seems they do a lot of carry out business. Which is good. We decided to dine in. We wanted the entire experience. I got fried fish, collard greens and yams. It seems all meals come with some kinda of rice. My daughter got the fried ribs, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. The food is I wasn't ready for the delish-ness. Everything is cooked to order. Our food came out piping hot. I will say there was only one young lady working the counter. She was pleasant. The menu was a bit overwhelming but I really liked their options. I LOVE that they have kid's size drinks. My kids can never finish a full size drink and they always want something different. Kid's sizes just make sense. I got the mango sago and my kids got the strawberry lemonade. My mango sago was sooo good. It reminded me of the mango sago desserts I used to get back home. It was creamy and full of mango flavor with bits of mango pieces. It was probably a thousand calories but I didn't care lol. They also have flight menu which was an interesting concept. Instead of beer flights, you do teas instead for about $18 -$20. The store is also attached to nine five pho so you can have pho too if you're hungry.”

“Love this new food hall in Pembroke Pines ! There are 5 little stations all with different types of Asian cuisine. We came with a group of 6 for a birthday so we were able to try all the different stalls. My favorite was Gold Marquess by far. I ordered a lunch special from here that included shrimp fried rice, crispy orange chicken steamed broccoli and my choice of 2 dumplings (I chose shrimp dumplings. ) My friend ordered a dim sum sampler from here which was assorted dumplings they loved it. The Manager Jami was very nice and recommended the Lo mein dish for our table to share with which was amazing ! The portion was very large, hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend it . We got a couple sushi rolls from Poke OG which were all so good. You can tell they use very fresh products just by the taste. Next up we have Gangnam chicken with the crispy Korean chicken strips in a sweet soy sauce, they came paired with seasoned fries that we loved. My friend had a Ramen bowl from Temple Street Eatery and it smelled and looked wonderful. I tried some of the mini beef arepas from there as well I loved the yummy creamy sauce they came with. Lastly for my dessert I had a slice of strawberry shortcake from BobaStreet cafe it was fluffy and sweet. We also ordered 2 different waffle desserts they have and everyone loved them ! Can't wait to come back and try the Boba next time . I had a few cocktails from the bar. The bartender Brii let us know they actually have a weekly ladies night so we were really excited about that part. Can't wait to come back to this place . Overall try it out, there's something for everyone there so you won't be disappointed .”
