Cibao Dominican Restaurant Reviews
Andrea was our server. She was lovely. Big group with no advance notice. They took great care of us. Everything was delicious. I sampled the goat, moro de guandules, mondongo, Dominican cake, majarete, quipes, yuca empanadas. Everything was delicious. The owner, Giuseppe, was delightful. Can’t wait to return.
We were a large and ordered a variety of dishes, stewed chicken, arroz con guandules, white rice and red beans, mondongo soup, seafood casserole/stew, churrasco, ripe plaintaina, green plaintains, Dominican coffee, cake, flan, and majarete. Everything was excellent, and the service from Andrea our server and the owner Giuseppe was above and beyond. Great great place!
Amazing authentic Dominican food and great service.

Cibao Dominican Restaurant offers authentic Dominican food that reminds many of home cooking and the Dominican Republic. A big group with no advance notice received great care, and everything was delicious. The goat, moro de guandules, mondongo, Dominican cake, majarete, quipes, and yuca empanadas were all delicious. The owner was delightful. A large group ordered stewed chicken, arroz con guandules, white rice and red beans, mondongo soup, seafood casserole/stew, churrasco, ripe plaintains, green plaintains, Dominican coffee, cake, flan, and majarete. Everything was excellent, and the service was above and beyond. A to go order of sancocho, white rice, beans, gandules and chicken was fresh and recently made, with outstanding customer service. A family of 4 with 2 girls approved the food and loved everything, including the mango juice and the mangu, which is delicious and soft. The sancocho transported them to the mountains with the same taste. The prices are what you see in the menu with no surprise. The sancocho is delicious, and the empanadas and croquetas are also very good. This place is perfect, exactly what Pembroke Pines needed, with great Dominican food just like home cooking, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere.
