“Great service and great food! I feel like their ribeye is fresh, unlike other high-end restaurants that serve steak and all the side orders are delicious such as the Mac n cheese. For appetizer, I highly suggest the mushrooms that come coated in cheese and marinara sauce. The waiters are excellent and this restaurant makes going out to eat steak worthwhile because restaurant prices are not cheap. Also, great Ranch-style atmosphere and their desserts are good.Bar and dining area always packed with birthdays or special eventsParking: Parking right next to restaurant. Little walking required“

COOPS SPOT FOOD TRUCK Barbecue •
700 N Hiatus Rd #105, Pembroke Pines

“Y'all. I would say about 80% of the times we go to the Food Truck Festival at Pembroke Lakes Mall on Thursdays, it is to get food from Coop's Spot Food Truck! The wings and ribs are sooo good (the sides are really good too). We have yet to find a really worthy BBQ spot in Pembroke Pines, but Coops does it for us in the meantime! I think it's the smoke, and the Sweet & Spicy sauce. ;)I will say, it used to take FOREVER to get your food from them though (one time I waited over 45min!). But it appears they are organizing themselves much better now, and they started giving us a time estimate (now it's usually 15min). And it's worth it. :)“

“We were in the mood for bbq today saw the great yelp reviews so stopped in to check it out. We had the combo meals, one brisket & one spare ribs both with tangy slaw & mac 'n cheese. We also got the Mexican corn to share. The portions are very generous, not a heavy smoke flavor, which I appreciated, both meats were very moist & tender. The slaw is in a vinegar dressing without any mayo. I usually prefer a creamy coleslaw but this was very good. The mac 'n cheese was creamy & delicious, not like any box m&c I've ever had! The Mexican corn was good, not the best I've had but sometimes even fresh corn isn't as sweet as others and it was overcooked for my taste. The toppings were very good & generous as well. And they even cut it into pieces so it was easy to share & eat without having it from ear to ear. There are 2 counter areas each with 2 stools for eating in which we did. The service was very friendly, attentive & very appreciative of being tipped.“

EMILIO BBQ Caterers •
301 NW 103rd Ave, Pembroke Pines

“I was very appreciative of the willingness and attention to detail that Emilio and his team showed for our event. Prior to selecting this business, we had several questions, requests and clarification. Emilio was very responsive and never got annoyed with our calls. We requested delivery for our food at a specific time frame and it was done. The food was very well packaged, labeled accordingly and was fresh! The hamburgers were very moist and well seasoned. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and not soggy. Delicious corn! The chicken was tender, well cooked with ample seasoning. Our staff were very pleased with the food.Thank you Emilio and team! We will consider you for future events.“

“Depending on who your server is, it's usually or even mostly good service. In the last three years, coming out of the pandemic, it seems like the food got smaller and smaller portion wise. The food was no longer the same, and unlike it in the past, it went down in quality. But it's like this everywhere, it seems. Yesterday was one of them days to where I totally enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich, but my wife said her chicken tenders tasted old. They didn't hesitate to change it to a chicken dinner, but because of the economy that some how is supposed to be great, and we somehow need to be grateful for was almost $50 and its why I'm writhing this review. The restaurant witch was once always packed was now empty.Asking the ladies we've known for years who work here, and they blamed the new Flanagans that opened about a mile away.Don't blame them. Blame yourself. Many of us would meet here, and everyone knew each other. Then, at 9, you kicked us out and even on a Friday or the entire weekend. Come 8:30 the workers want to go party and you can catch some of them at another bar. By 9, the food is put away, and they don't want any new customers or as I put because it's not their restaurant care that it's about making money and out the door no later then 9:30. This happened to me one night on a Friday when I called at 8:15 and asked if I would have time to come in and eat? I arrived at 8:30 when the bartender said we were closing and the food had been put away. Now mad I left and went to Joe's Pizza, who had a 10 o'clock closing scheduled and because of people continuing to walk in they stayed till everyone who wanted to eat got to eat. That's how it's done. Scrubys has a sports bar and had, at one point, a loyal crowd, but I'm thinking I'm not the only one who they pushed away.I hope the owners see this before it's too late. It's like Sears, when all these Walmart stores started Surrounding their stores and the Kmarts they purchased like hawks around there pray they didn't adjust to the changing times and raising your price with less food is a for sure way to kill a once thriving business. It may be too late to get the bar crowd back like it was. No matter what time of the day you knew someone at the bar. Or someone always knew someone even if you didn't know them. This was a place to brag about and because someone didn't pay attention to the help, who was already upset that they lost money to Door Dash and others because 100% of the tips went to the delivery guy stop caring about their place of work because as they put it the place stop caring about them.“

“This restaurant is in the food hall of the Pembroke Lakes mall, so a typical atmosphere for the location. The service was polite and helpful, but pretty slow. This was mainly due to the fact that two of the staff who dealt with our order had incredibly long artificial nails (both male and female staff). This meant that they struggled to operate the touch screen till. The food is very good and excellent value for money. However, we had a serious issue about an attempt to charge 5 dollars for a regular minute maid Lemonade , and a further 1.25 for plain tap water!! What??!Come on Lime! You can do better than that.Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the excellent food. We would definitely go back for this reason, although we would avoid buying anything to drink from this place.“
