“I first learned of this restaurant through instagram, I then looked it up on google and was very impressed with the reviews. Let me tell you, the reviews do not lie! Absolutely everything we tasted, from the sangria, to the appetizers to the meal itself and dessert was absolutely amazing! The service was also top notch! Rosy was very attentive, friendly and gave great recommendations. Tony greeted us at the door and was also very friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful! This is a must to try if you are in Miramar!“

“Coop's Pit BBQ is always on point, hot, tasteful I can never choose between the ribs or the chickens both are sooooooo good. I always end up getting both. There's a great variety of side items all of them are delicious? but that mac & cheese is my JAM?! OMG I'm SALIVATING ? just thinking about it. And let's not forget about the LEMON CAKE!! ? yummy. Check out Coop's, they will not disappoint.“

“Mesa's BBQ is a delightful family-owned eatery that brings the heart of Cuban cuisine to life in a relaxed setting. Known for its homestyle dishes, this restaurant serves up an array of mouthwatering options, including their signature pork sandwich—featuring tender, seasoned shredded pork on fresh Cuban bread topped with onions. Other standout offerings include fried pork chunks and traditional favorites like grilled chicken and hearty meat stews. I start going there at the old Dairy Queen location on the Eastside of Hialeah before they moved to their new location on the Westside of the city. I continued to buy my food for my employees group meetings food from them when I was working for the city of Hialeah's city hall, I started in the Fire Department, and over time was promoted to Director of Information Technology with a staff of about 18 people. The Mesa family always treated use like part of their family!“

“They're well organized for holidays, can get whole meal with pork, rice & beans, yuca, fried sweet plantains, tamales, etc even on the day of for New Year's or Christmas. Completas easily feed two people or can be stretched to two meals. The prices are pretty reasonable & portions are generous.“

“Came back here for the second time and honestly, this place is still one of my favorite food spots in Miami so far. Everything we had was cooked really well, fresh, and had so much flavor. You can tell they actually put care into the food, not just rushing plates out.

The atmosphere is also really nice, which makes the whole meal even better. Good food, good vibe, and the service was solid too. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Easy 5 stars for me.“

“If you're looking for real American Ribs, this is the place, I got the Baby Back Ribs (fall of the bone, real juicy tenders) with Mac and Cheese and Cornbread, delicious !

“We had wings, onion strings, slaw, cornbread, salad, black beans & rice & corn on the cob. It was all so good. The tea was delicious. The service by Andres was excellent. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Our first visit & it was worth it. Went on a Sunday around 6pm. Not packed but full. Would go back in a heartbeat if there was one in Georgia. Thanks for a great evening. Sorry no photos. “We’ve been coming here for years and the experience keeps getting better and better. The entire staff is extremely welcoming and makes you feel at home every time. We visit at least once a month, and it has become one of our family favorites.

The menu has evolved in a really good way over the years, with more variety and consistently great quality. The kids absolutely love the arepas here — especially the arepa con queso rallado and the cheese arepitas.

Most of the time I order the Arepa Pico e Gallo, which is an absolute must-try. My husband loves the Parrilla Pico e Gallo as well. And the new parrilla a la leña is honestly out of this world — incredible flavor, perfectly cooked, and one of the best things we’ve tried there recently.

Everything is flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned. If you’re looking for authentic Venezuelan BBQ and comfort food with a warm atmosphere and consistently excellent food, this place is definitely worth visiting.“

“"Migas Restaurant used to be my favorite place to eat. I used to go there three times a week. However, gradually, prices went up, and the quality decreased. Today was my last day there. The food was horrible—everything seemed to be frozen meat, the place was dirty, and the quality of the meat was very low. I paid $180 today for food that was old and had a bad smell. Even the dessert was three weeks old. It pains me to speak negatively about this restaurant, but everyone has their limits, and I've reached mine. Farewell, Nigas Restaurant."“

“I was nearby last night and googled a place to get a good burger and I drove down to an area. I’ve never been and found this quaint little area with food trucks and the burger and milkshake here was divine. There’s a nice outside patio bar five or six food trucks that serve different food. I would definitely go back.!“

“In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!“

Came in with a group of 5 and it took forever to get anything, due to the fact they only had one server on staff who had to serve and bartend for a full restaurant.
