“Amazing service, however not that great of BBQ. If you like mustard you’d like this, I think it’s very strong on mustard flavor. Especially the BBQ sauce, the brisket was fairly dry, pulled pork didn’t taste like much, Mac tasted like Velveeta with some panko on top. I’d rate it less but the service was great!“

I’ve never been and found this quaint little area with food trucks and the burger and milkshake here was divine. There’s a nice outside patio bar five or six food trucks that serve different food. I would definitely go back.!“

“In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!“

The gathering and good conversation soon took a turn to the ribs and brisket, and then the BBQ took a life of its own ,and all conversation. arguments, agreements, disagreements were soon forgotten to be replaced by this great, flavorful BBQ dinner. Cant say enough about Harvey's menu an touch and Natalie's attention to detail. Look forward to a 4th of July BBQ Harvey's style.“

“Was driving around the area looking for some good BBQ and luckily came across this spot, definitely a great find. The prices are right and the value is solid.

I ordered the regular rib sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The ribs came out hot, smothered in sauce, with that perfectly fatty, flavorful meat, exactly how I like it.

For a little less than $10, I left full and satisfied. I’m on the road a lot, so I’ve already saved this place to my favorites. Definitely coming back for lunch again.“

“I’m 70 and I hold to the notion that any restaurant older than me has got to be good, and Shorty’s has been in business since 1951. You do the math.

I had the Brisket/BBQ Chicken dinner and Mrs. K. had the Pulled Pork dinner, both absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, washed down with icy mugs of beer, and served by our waitress Cookie with skill, charm, and true Southern Hospitality.

Great food, great service and great prices is what makes Shorty’s a great place for BBQ. Get some!“

So much flavor and texture in both dishes myself and my wife ordered.
