“Overall pretty good spot. Can take a while for things to happen. Drinks, check, etc. Nice food options although since they changed their menu there are not quite as many options as there once was. Worth stopping by for some decent food and great atmosphere. They have a large outdoor firepit usually cranking. The ultimate pineapple drink it pretty bomb.“
“Very good service, good menu … not overly extensive. Food was very good quality all around. They know how to prepare home fries and their omelets are top-notch. She made the experience perfect. She brought out the food all at the same time and brought us anything we asked for. Would definitely come back to this place! The pasta and pizza are delicious! The breakfast menu is equally varied. I could have ordered at least 6 items on the menu. The service is great, prices are reasonable. The dining room and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Two thumbs up and 5 stars“
“Not only does Dutch pot has excellent customer service! They also in my opinion have the best Jamaican meals ever ! The taste & texture of their oxtails is hands down unmatched ! I know of only one other person locally that can even come close to making them quite tasty! And the cabbage & rice omgosh! Just delicious. And my favorite dish beside the brown stew or Jerk chicken is the liver ! Taste like my mother's own! She even loves it! When I took some to her ! I can tell this location is being ran by great leadership! I come there atleast twice a week and order for my entire family & even purchase for cars behind me! Just to spread the kindness around! Thanks guys for taking pride in your work & offering excellent customer services! We appreciate you ! Happy Holidays! Sharon W. From Space Coast Credit Union!“
“Had a patty and coco bread this morning. Their patties are on par with Juici Patties. Taste Rite patties are damn good. Well made, hot, spicy, fresh and a fave of mine. Plus, the sweet potato pudding is on point. Thanks for the good customer service, Latoya ?“
“Destiny was amazing. She greeted us as we entered and was patient with us as we were ordering. All of the staff we encountered, friendly and courteous. We ordered the chicken and fries. My second favorite spot that is not in the Bahamas. If you are ever in town, check them out.“
“I don't know who is crazy enough to complain about this place.... The food is always fresh and is a great value for the quality and portion. Honestly, you don't need a lunch special to appreciate the value. The jerk chicken is all breast and juicy and charred and amazing and the rice and peas and slaw are always on point. I grew up eating Jamaican food and I know the real deal when I get it. I wouldn't expect rushed American service in a chill neighborhood style joint like this. Come in and sit down, and enjoy a bite of hot food that tastes like someone's grandma is back there cooking. Absolutely zero complaints and I used to eat here 3x a week when my daughter was going to Pre-K close by. Keep cooking!“
“I came across this restaurant by accident and decided to go in and I must say I was glad I did. My husband and I loved the Wong tong soup first of all as a starter. It was the best wonton soup I've ever had and the flavor was outstanding. We also had chicken wings with a little spice and they were delicious and they were also good size wings. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining what the dish consist of. I definitely recommend this place and we will be returning to this establishment again very soon.“
“Ordered Easter weekend fish to eat starting Good Friday right until Easter morning. Bammy is crispy and excellent. Escovitch fish was made to order. Mild for those who are under Doc's order not to eat spicy food. Full spice for those who want the Jamaican Easter experience. We started eating right away and won't stop until we get to the bottom of the pan. We called to order, arrived to pick up. Establishment is clean, tidy and smells appetizing. Great customer service. Can't wait to order again. Best. Good Friday. Ever!“
“One of the tastiest Trini spots in the area! The service can be a bit slow, and the food may be a bit overpriced, but trust me it's totally worth it!Also, Sheiks is all Halal and the place itself is very clean and well organized, including their grocery portion of the store. You can find many of your favorite imported goods from the Caribbean.I highly recommend the doubles, chicken roti, goat roti and veggies here!“
“This message is for the owner(s)! Please, please, please open one of your restaurants further up north!! I'm in Coconut Creek and all we have are Donna's, Golden Krust, Taste Rite, Dutch Pot and other mom and pop restaurants! You guys are spot on with your beef patties!“
“The best Jamaican food in Pembroke Pines hands down. They always give you nuff food!!!! Well cooked. Meat falling off the bones. You enjoy your meal instead of fighting with it. The drinks and desserts. Pick one any one. They are all delicious!!!! I go back time and time again. On weekends when I don't feel like cooking. This is my go to spot. When family is in town . This is the spot. I love coming here. Good food and great service.“
“In town for a day and we were looking for a breakfast spot. Ended up seeing this place in the plaza with no wait time so we decided to have brunch. Yal! Brunch was a whole vibe! Good food, 90s R&B, mimosas, and great customer service. The oxtail and ackee was banging I just wish they put more ackee on the plate. The lamb chops were tender and flavorful. My mother-in-law had the chicken and waffles and that chicken was juicy and full of flavor. My 6 yr old had the avocado toast. Everything was good including the St. Patty's mimosas. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town.“
