“What a wonderful clean and friendly place to come when I’m in town! I asked the cashier can I try a sample of the rice and beans and the djion djion rice and the owner brought it out from the back and both of them were absolutely delicious! She even let me know that I can do half-and-half if I would like. I definitely recommend this place for all your Haitian food needs! I would definitely give them a 10 stars if I could!!“

“Best fried conch and shrimp ever. This is forever my place to go when I'm in town and want some seafood. The conch was tender not gummy or over cooked. The food was just delicious. The plate was overflowing, completely full of goodness. The French fries are lacking but the conch and shrimp makes up for it in abundance. Looking forward to the next trip just so I can get some conch and shrimp.“

“This was unexpected surprise for a hotel Restaurant. We were staying in a nearby hotel with no restaurant and we’re able to walk to this one. My wife had the shrimp salad sliders and I had a bowl with Carnitas. Both were excellent. I got more pico and it made the bowl even better by doubling the pico. My wife had the aperol spritz. She thoroughly enjoyed it and was amazed how good it was compared to what she expected. Our server, Dani, was also excellent!“

“A plus if you speak and understand espanol as that is the primary form of communication here. Stopped in the evening for a game of pool, they have 2 tables. Not a large place, but large enough for a small to 20ish person gathering, seemed like they just had beer, but at good prices $4 for a modelo and the service was fantastic. They treat you like family. Not a super large parking lot, so if you come at a busier time I think you might have to find on street parking.“

“The food here is very good and the servers are so kind. The only thing that I really didn't like is that they don't really check up on you until you are completed with your meal. The area is so beautiful but I think it is in a strange spot because it is in the lobby of the Marriott. The Hurricane Drink that I had was not mixed well and it had WAY too much alcohol in it and not a good mix of everything else. My husband had the burger and he said it honestly isn't anything to write home about and I ended up with the alfredo which really wasn't that bad at all. Would I recommend this place? Maybe if you were in a hurry and didn't want to leave the hotel. Otherwise it honestly is just average.“

“I only go here for their fresh jamaican patties. They have the best Jamaican patties, I have ever tasted. The meat is tasty and the the crust is fresh. And the patties are a nice size for the price. Depending on when you go here, it can be a little busy. I love their jamaican patties.“

The menu is a bit limited and unadventurous, but the food itself is quite good and the portions are large (if you're with kids younger than teenage have them split a sandwich). Prices are reasonable, in the Hilton/Marriott range (i.e., a lot less than what we expected given the luxurious nature of the place).“

Stopped by Island Chicken Grill while passing through MIA and had such a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — a real taste of the Caribbean right in the airport. What truly made my visit special was Dagnay’s amazing service. She was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. It’s rare to find that level of care and hospitality at an airport restaurant.“
