The food is seasoned well, but would be so much better if they weren't so spicy. The Ground Beef Spaghetti is so spicy that it's inedible... sucks because it would've been good. The Fried Fish Dinner was spicy too but I was able to finish it with 3 bottles of water. The Boulet dinner had a little kick to it where it was tolerable. The Chicken Wings With Fries were okay.“

“So good! I got the chicken in sauce with diri cole. I can’t wait to come back and order other things from the menu. Their chefs are so talented and you can tell they have been cooking for a long time. Tastes even better than it looks in the pics.“

“The food here is very good and the servers are so kind. The only thing that I really didn't like is that they don't really check up on you until you are completed with your meal. The area is so beautiful but I think it is in a strange spot because it is in the lobby of the Marriott. The Hurricane Drink that I had was not mixed well and it had WAY too much alcohol in it and not a good mix of everything else. My husband had the burger and he said it honestly isn't anything to write home about and I ended up with the alfredo which really wasn't that bad at all. Would I recommend this place? Maybe if you were in a hurry and didn't want to leave the hotel. Otherwise it honestly is just average.“

I like how they've updated their storefront but it still has an island feel to it, honoring the Bahamian influence of its start phase. “A plus if you speak and understand espanol as that is the primary form of communication here. Stopped in the evening for a game of pool, they have 2 tables. Not a large place, but large enough for a small to 20ish person gathering, seemed like they just had beer, but at good prices $4 for a modelo and the service was fantastic. They treat you like family. Not a super large parking lot, so if you come at a busier time I think you might have to find on street parking.“

The curry goat, oxtail, rice and peas, jerk chicken, the fish - all A1 authentic.

The staff is also incredible. Feels like you’re in Jamaica.

Stopped by Island Chicken Grill while passing through MIA and had such a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — a real taste of the Caribbean right in the airport. What truly made my visit special was Dagnay’s amazing service. She was friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. It’s rare to find that level of care and hospitality at an airport restaurant.“

“If you want AUTHENTIC, delicious, satisfying Jamaican food that tastes like home. This is maybe the only place in Miami area to get it. It takes a long time to get the food so you have to call ahead and this is because they're making it from scratch fresh. It's definitely a hole in the wall, which is why I gave the atmosphere a 4, but it's nostalgic and a place for us as jamaicans to coalesce and feel at home. Love the owners as they are very hospitable and welcoming. This is a place that I can trust the food will be good everytime. Thank you for tasting like home !“
