“This is the best Cuban food I’ve had in Miami, hands down.Every dish is not only incredibly flavorful but presented beautifully. Anything you pick will probably be outstanding.Do note it’s a small place and nothing fancy. However, it’s my cozy place of choice to read a book while enjoying a great meal or sharing thoughts with dad.I’ve heard customers in nearby tables compliment the food as well so, not biased. If you’re looking to Cuban food, go try it! You won’t be disappointed!“
“It’s now 5 am and I ordered 2 pattie from I ate one right away then way mmmaaaaannnn when I tell you that patty was so good 10/10 but that’s not all I came back to eat the other 1 and it’s so just as good as the first even after reheating 100/100 definitely returning and if you miss the old Marie’s Pattie’s they taste just alike honestly“
“Absolutely epic food! This could easily rank as some of the best Caribbean cuisine I’ve ever had. The jerk chicken was sensational—perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauces were equally good. I can’t wait to eat at Manjay again.“
“Man ....that moment when you keep searching and searching for just decent food ...stop all your searching here . What a hidden gem , Food is amazing , reminds me of my moms home cooking , and the service reminds me of my own family . We had the ox tail and Pattys ...and so so so good , will definitely be back every time we are in town .“
“Clean, Friendly Caribbean Market!! It was our first time coming to this Place. The Owners were very Friendly People who went out of their way to welcome us. Also, the Goat Roti is very good!! I will definitely return there whenever I visit down to Miami.“
“This place has some of the best soup I’ve tasted in a long time!!!! Tuesday- red peas soup Wednesday- Beef Soup Thursday-Chicken soup $10 for large $6 for small. The patties and the cocoa bread are nice too small spot right behind the corner store on 193rd and 441“
“The food was fantastic! The fries & onion rings were super crispy and delightful. I recommend looking at the sauce varieties BEFORE you get to the counter, as I was wildly unprepared. The gal behind the counter, who seemed to hate her life, told me her fav like I was the 17,000th person today to ask - I wasn't about to ask for her other recommendations. I got wings, and while the honey lemon pepper wasn't my fav of the two sauces I tried, the spicy garlic more than made up for it. The fish was great, as well, but would've been better with sauce - we weren't asked, and we totally forgot. There is free parking right down the block, too.Overall, excellent experience!“
“Flavorz is a great takeout option. The food is delicious and well seasoned. I had the combo shrimp and rich behavior wings. The rich behavior wings are lemon pepper on steroids. The shrimp were jumbo shrimp so well worth the upcharge. Tuna macaroni salad was on good but nothing extraordinary. The yams were good , it was well seasoned with cinnamon. You can uber eats or call in. I did check the uber eats menu first and not all the items were on the app. I ended up calling in and the wait would be 25 min. I highly suggest you call in your order. Food was already ready when I arrived. Customer service is A++“
“Food was worth the wait. We ordered oxtails with rice and peas curry, shrimp, jerk, chicken, mac & cheese, chicken patties plantains and rum punch. All excellent and we have traveled many Caribbean islands... Jamaica, Grenada, Antigua, Dominican Republic, and this place had the best Caribbean food. The spice level was great. The food was fresh. The service was great, and we even ended up there a little later than we had wanted and we still felt like we were welcome, the restaurant is spacious and plays good music.“
“This is clearly one of the coolest place to eat in the region. Every time I come to this place I am deeply pleased. They manage their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they serve. You are always happy with this restaurant.“
“Think of this as the concept of Chipotle but with Jamaican/Caribbean food! Awesome build your own bowl options with vegetarian and pescatarian diets in mind too. I loved the peas and rice, the yucca, and the jerk chicken. The mango salsa is a must too. You've gotta get the beef patty! Go check out the seating in the back. The area is so cool and vibey!“
“My visit to Roywoods left me enchanted! The authentic jerk chicken sandwich was a flavor explosion. Meeting the humble owner at the front added a personal touch. With such great food and hospitality, Roywoods is destined for success in the heart of midtown. A definite must-try!“
“I had the legume and seafood pasta and both were FIRE ? but I’m writing this review not only to expound on the excellence of the food but to showcase the humanity of the owner Johanna. After buying and eating the amazing food, I didn’t realize that I accidentally left my wallet. After a week she came to my house to bring it back to me! Unbelievable but TRUE. My faith in humanity RESTORED ? ?“
“First off, want to say this place is authentically Jamaican. Not only are the workers Jamaican, but the customers that eat here as well. The food is always fresh and home cooked, leaving you feeling great after eating. The food spot is part of a flea market so the ambiance isn't all that fancy. The food here is also very delicious.“
“This place was nice and clean inside and the food taste good and fresh! Most of all was the service. I feel like customer service these days is hard to come around but here the service was on point! I will def be coming back with friends and family.“
“Went here for the first time and was serve by Danny and he was awesome and made sure to answer our questions and even gave suggestions for what would like to eat based off how hungry we were lol. After finding out it was my birthday he took time out to show extra appreciation. The food was great and I enjoyed it and the service. I will be coming back!“
“I went to this spot a couple days ago and it was amazing! It was great and the service was on point I will definitely be there again soon . The ambiance was very welcoming and pleasing . I wish I could've taken home all their food to eat for days on end.“
“Everytime we go we are very satisfied. Great place, the only thing this time is that they charge extrs for some side orders like tostones, yuca frita & the wsitress never told me about the extra charge when I ordered tostones, but yes..thid is a 5 star for us.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accesible for people with dissabilities“
“Definitely a spot to come get food and drinks. The waiter was amazing Nahi knew all about the menu and made sure we was ok all night. And shout out to the chef Ricardo who came out and made sure our food was to our liking 5 stars all across the “
“We got conch fritters, jerk chicken wings, and a jerk chicken pineapple bowl bowl. I've enjoyed the conch fritters a few times before, but it was my first time trying the bowl and I absolutely loved it.I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because I really dislike the table tablets that got pushed in front of our faces immediately. It's nice to use in a pinch, but I'd rather just have a server instead of look at the same cat trivia question over and over again.“
“I'm so happy I stumbled across this food truck, and I hope they keep up the flavor momentum! By far the BEST LAMBI I've ever head, their grilled chicken is SOOOOO YUMMY. Their ACRA IS BOMB!!!! Excellent customer service! I am recommending them to everyone I know!!!! Please, please keep up the good work, we need more delicious Haitian food in Miami.“
“Looking for authentic Jamaican food in the Miami/Miami Gardens vicinity, this is the spot. Great food, great service, clean, quiet and peaceful ambiance to enjoy your meal. This is the real deal. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner spot, with Jerk Chicken, Oxtail, Stew Peas, Fried and Barb Fried chicken, Curry Goat, Fish, Ackee & Salt fish, Calaloo, Stew chicken, Boiled food (yam, banana, dumpling etc), fried dumplings, Rice & Peas, Goat Soup, Chicken Soup etc. Trust me, best in class and Top Tier Jamaican cuisine... go check that spot out on Ives Dairy Road. Peace ✌?“
“I frequently eat here at for both lunch and dinner. I can say that Jamaica Corner is deserving of a Michelin star. It is on the same echelon of Tim Ho Wan in Hong Kong. Eat here as it is the best restaurant in Miami. They serve the best food in town, period.“
“By far the best fried rice I've had to date! Chinese food is my thing so this says a lot. It was loaded with meat and the flavor was impeccable. Service was quick, we were in and out. If you're looking to sit and eat go somewhere else because it's not that type of restaurant.“
“On overlooked gem, the food was fresh and delicious. I had fried snapper, over-easy eggs (instead of grits) and toast and loved it. Make sure you have the homemade lemonade, it was refreshing and tasted like a perfected recipe. I loved this spots small mom & pop ambiance, and the service made me feel at home. Thank you for a great dining experience, Bahamian Pot.“
“Combat restaurant, in the heart of Downtown with a very varied Latin menu, at good prices, large quantities, the cons are that it is not pretty and very small, but if you want to eat delicious and very cheap this is your place, the service is very good , different menus every day,“
“I read the negative reviews before I decided to give this place a try. I'm not sure what the negative reviews were talking about but my experience here was amazing. The food quality was wonderful and the customer service was great. I arrived at 6pm when they opened. I went with the two tender and fries combo number two. It was delicious. I love cheese so I added cheese on my tenders. I give this place a 10 out of 10. The experience was great. Highly recommended to everyone. Don't fall for the negative reviews. Try it for yourself and see if you like it. Everyone is different.“
“Great fish thats all I ever getGreat vibeUsually some music playing or even live bands on occasionLarge yard space with some seating and plenty of people coming in and outVegetarian options: PlentyKid-friendliness: Space to run about and play while you wait“
“This Black owned restaurant has DELICIOUS soul food. We had the rib tips, shrimp & grits, mac& cheese, collard greens, black eyed peas, yellow rice and corn bread. Everything was amazing. The rasberry lemonade called the Flop was sweet and refreshing too.“
“As a Cuban-American, this place is almost a rite of passage. It already is quite famous with even President Barack Obama coming during his presidency and let me just say that if you're coming to Miami, this is a must stop. Similar to Versailles, but even more so, this is an authentic outlook into the Cuban Frita. What was once a staple in Cuban culture and still is an incredible burger. Don't have any expectations of what it might taste like because it will be completely different. Definitely my favorite place to take my friends when they are visiting Miami.“
“the food was delicious. we called to order the beef patties and they cooked some fresh (they were out) and they were excellent. we also tried the jerk chicken plantains and the peas and rice and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Best of all the service was immaculate. the lady at the counter was extremely nice and we had a good conversation as I waited. 10 out of 10“
“Everything was absolutely amazing. The only downsides to my visit were that our food came out sporadically. I and another person in my group were almost finished with our food by the time the plates for the others in my party received theirs. And the other was that I was told that the lady who makes the conch batter hadn't arrived yet, and that was the main thing on the menu I was craving and wanted to try. It was 12pm when my party dined. Would've given it 5 stars otherwise. So my advice would be to call ahead of time to make sure what you'd like on the menu is available.“
“Have been staying at this Marriott Courtside for many years and have eaten here before. There have been many iterations of this restaurant, it has gone from very good to mediocre to very good again. Menu is large. Had the chicken fingers and fries. The fries were perfect…crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside from first to last bite. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. This restaurant kitchen is better than the main Marriott. Only drawback was the waitstaff not as attentive as it should be.“
“Amazing food and amazing venue. Service is a bit dodgy but honestly doesn't bother me due to location. The garden is super cool with a great lowkey vibe. The jerk chicken is PHENOMINAL. If you are in the are most definitely go. Music is also a super cool part of this restaurant. Saw a band called Ex Monarch and they were really awesome.“
“I love this place food. Been coming here since a child. They have good oxtail, fried shrimp, griot, rice and picklez. BUT DO NOT get their wings. I got their creole wing out of curiosity because i never heard of that and it was so BLAND. Its super tiny wings getting soggy in some barely seasoned sauce. Its so bad its shocking. Other than that everything else not bad. Those wings going in the trash tho“
