“This place is great!! I highly recommend this remarkable place for a quality, clean, and just yummy treat. Our party of 4 had a small wait to be seated at 4pm. It was well worth it. To be sure, I noticed all the food on the table. A steak was charged and nicely pink. A strawberry salad was bright and nicely colored and freshI had French onion soup, was very good and cheese. The spicy chicken bites were crunchy and had a nice bite with generous portion. The stuffed baked potato was fresh and tasty. The prices were consistent with comparable restaurants. Even on a busy day like Easter, the service was impeccable. (The servers even found time to cater to the baby we had in tow!) Two minor observations, the music was a little too loud. It was hard to hear the waiter. The other one, it was rather dark inside. It was hard to see the menu. “We tried council oak for dinner one night and was very pleased. The atmosphere is great and the service is so friendly and attentive. It was quite busy when we went but the food came out hot and quick. We ordered iceberg salads, calamari, baked potato, garlic herb fries, creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts, filet mignon, and salmon. Everything was excellent and the prices were just right. The bacon chunks in the wedge were to die for. The steak was cooked just right at medium rare. We didn’t get dessert because there wasn’t a big option. Other than that excellent steakhouse.“

“Spent 4 wonderful days at this hotel and absolutely enjoyed this attached facility. The service was spot on and the food at happy hour was a fantastic price. To go along with the price it was actually very good and what made me come back a few nights in a row. Many shy away from happy hour bar food, I would not here as it was a steal. If I am in Miami again I will definitely stay here so I can enjoy the food and drink again, from the appetizer place, to the mussels and the yucca fries with french onion soup. Comfort food at its finest.“

“Food very good but service not so great. Ordering at the counter we got very little information from questions we asked. We were ignored at times, young servers standing and talking behind the counter. Once we got our food no one came around to check on us. I had to get up get salt from another empty table. We realized half way through we didn't get our drinks so I had to go in to the counter and ask and after slowly checking to see if we paid (for a can of soda and glass of water) it still took longer than it should have for it to come to the table. Then waiting for the check. I will go back because the food was good but won't be tipping the 20% in advance anymore. I will decide the tip after the service.“
“Awesome service by Andrea our server and awesome manger Kyle and thanks to all the chefs! Cooked perfect, awesome service , really professional and really on their A game I wasn’t even half way done with my drink or bread before I had another drink on my table and more bread , on top of that my steak was perfectly cooked. Also an extremely clean place this specific out back is my favorite from now on not only is the service perfect but so is the food . These people ( Andrea) (kyle Mooney) and the chefs , really know how to run a restaurant. Thank you guys awesome work this is really the place for a perfect dinner or date night“
