Pembroke Pines' best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“This place surprised us in the taste and quality of their food. We went here because we did not want to wait at a sit-down restaurant. The place is tiny. Their food was not what I was expecting. It was actually very good. The service was good. Don't expect any fancy decor here, just straight up good portions and great food.“
“The food was great but the Birra Taco's were tiny. For the price you pay, regular size tacos would be appropriate. The service was amazing and the did was good. I'd give them another try, but I'd stay away from the tiny taco's.“
“I was very impressed with the food. Very! The service started out great, but went down hill quick. After getting the sauce I asked for, the server didn’t come back to ask us if we needed anything or how was the food until the table was cleared (by another associate who hoped we enjoyed the meal). He asked if we wanted dessert. We wanted the check. I guess the other tables next to us were more likely to tip. Because he was at their tables several times, passing by ours and not saying a word. Maybe he thought we wouldn’t tip or that it is automatic. Well, I believe in tipping wherever I go, but I have to be given the service I am tipping for. So, I left exactly what he expected.“
“These tacos are definitely the truth!!!! Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Had a nice char to it and the taco was stuffed! The shrimp taco wasn't as stuffed but the flavors were THERE! The tacos looked and smelled so good I forgot to take a picture of them lol. 9/10!! The burrito was solid as well. I would give it a 7/10. The rice was really good, the chicken could've been more seasoned. The flavors weren't as pronounced in the burrito. And they charged me an extra $1 for cheese. The guac and chips 3/10. The guac is just mashed avocado. No salt, no pepper, no pico or onions. And the guac was getting a little old as there were brown spots in it. Cheap chips too. Not worth the $7 price tag. Overall, I would definitely come back for the tacos!“
“Not all Tijuana Flats are created equally. This franchise location consistently delivers tasty and large portions. The tortilla chips are always fresh, which I have not found to be the case at other locations. The portions are large. Most importantly, the service is always fast and friendly. They have deals on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Taco Tuesday is their most famous and popular deal, two tacos, chips, and a drink for $6.99. They also offer 10% off at all other times for first responders and teachers.“
“Nice new spot to try if you haven't tried yet. Clean and fresh tasting food as I prefer that over Chipotle. How ever i would say the portions are a little smaller than chipotle but it's hit or miss depending on who's serving you at times. The chips are way far better than chipotle and tastier and serving size is much more.... Love that guacamole is included compared to chipotle charging you an arm and a leg for it. Great service and staff. Highly recommend the tortilla soup!“
“What a difference between eating at the restaurant and ordering to go. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the service is great. I wish I could say the same when the food is to go. Just ordered the tacos and tortilla soup and what a disappointment. The tacos fell apart and lacked the flavor and seasoning that I am used to. Sad!“
“I loved the service of Cesar the bartender, his attention was excellent, his recommendations and his charisma were incredible. I live near the place and I really come back for him to do my service... I recommend him and when you return ask for him.“
