“There are some people on this team that I absolutely adore. And the manager seems solid. I'm writing this note because I want to express an annoyance and perhaps it's good feedback for the team. I pulled up this morning to order my coffee, and I saw the coffee in the window in her hand and I reached for it. She pulled her hand back into the store and said whatever the price was. I got my credit card out paid for it and she flashed the machine to ask for a tip. And I thought: you treated me like a criminal over a coffee cup. Like I was going to take the coffee and run. You're asking for a tip? What special service did you give me actually?? I get offended by these asks for a tip without special treatment. I didn't even get to hold my drink and taste it and she's asking for extra money. ?!?!?!“
