“Great, convenient location right on the beach with amazing views, probably some of the best of any Starbucks in the U.S. The outdoor patio seating is the perfect spot to relax with a coffee while taking in the ocean scenery. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but given the prime beachfront location, it’s to be expected.“

“We've been visiting Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa every year for several years, and this most recent stay reminded us why we keep coming back. What sets this resort apart is the consistency. We know we'll find a beautiful beachfront property, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere that allows us to truly unwind. Even when minor issues arise, the team is quick to resolve them and ensure guests have a positive experience. During this visit, we stayed in a suite and were very happy with the accommodations. The room was spacious, comfortable, and featured a large balcony that became one of our favorite places to relax. We especially enjoyed having outdoor space where we could enjoy meals and take in the ocean air. The resort never felt overly crowded during our stay. While we could tell when conference groups departed and new guests arrived, there was always plenty of room at both the pool and the beach. We never had difficulty finding chairs, although we did splurge on pool bed reservations a couple of days. The beach itself was beautiful and well maintained. The ocean was rough during much of our stay, and guests were appropriately cautioned about entering the water, but we still enjoyed spending our days by the beach. One employee who deserves special recognition is Jaelen, who assisted guests on the beach. His warm personality, professionalism, and welcoming attitude helped start each beach day on a positive note. He consistently made guests feel valued and added to the overall experience. We also enjoyed dining at several of the resort's restaurants and appreciated the attentive service throughout the property. In fact, one of the reasons we love staying here is that the resort offers so much that we rarely feel the need to leave during our vacation. My only criticism is the resort fee, which continues to increase each year. While some guests may take advantage of the included activities, we would personally find more value in options such as a food-and-beverage credit or inclusion of beach umbrellas. That said, this was a minor concern in what was otherwise another excellent stay. Overall, the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa continues to be one of our favorite vacation destinations. The combination of a great location, beautiful beach, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding hospitality keeps us returning year after year, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.“

“2/13/26 --After a long day yesterday, I was very tired but also thankful. I woke up early to pray, then tried to sleep again, but my brain said, “No more sleep for you!” So I woke up again at 5:30 a.m., prayed some more, and finished packing. Then we went to our last breakfast on Explora I after our 15-day journey.

We visited many beautiful places, and I am grateful, but honestly… I was ready to get off the ship. I am still fighting a cold, and my body said, “Vacation is over!” Sometimes even paradise cannot fix a runny nose.

This morning I woke up with one clear mission: coffee. Not a big restaurant. Not a buffet. Just simple, peaceful coffee. So I started walking down A1A. Two minutes into my walk—like a blessing from above—I saw Starbucks. It was perfect. I almost heard angels singing.

I bought orange juice, a KIND bar, water, and of course my favorite drink: a decaf almond milk latte. (Yes, decaf… I like the taste, not the shaking hands.) They took care of me quickly, and I sat outside reading the news and trying to learn how to use my new Samsung Galaxy phone. I am giving my iPhone a much-needed rest… but really, I am just trying to keep work away for a little while. 😂

Even in the middle of being tired and sick, I remind myself of this verse:

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

Even with a cold, even with little sleep, even with technology confusion… it is still a good day. 🙏“

“Excellent food, coffee, and service, as I have come to expect from Starbucks! Clean place with friendly and helpful staff. The temperature is a bit cold inside, but that's to be expected in a hospital setting. There is an attached outdoor garden with several tables and benches if, like me, you prefer warm weather.“

The way the staff takes care about this business is beyond best employees expectations.
Shout out for the recently promoted manager Junior, that takes care of his customers with so much patience and care, to the extent that he had time to draw me a flower on the cup while I was figuring out cards in my phone wallet.
I have been coming to this location since it opened up, and I always felt something special about it. But this flower, this cup and this experience today, are remaining in my heart forever as a pinnacle of customer service and exemplary work.
