Their homemade arepas are made with fresh ingredients and are the best I’ve ever had outside of South America. “Mi Dulce Avila is a gem. We’ve been eating there since m they were at the Yellow Green Market in Hollywood.

The arepas are amazing, and you can tell everything is fresh. On top of the food, the owner is really nice. We’ve come in a few times with our kids who have mild food allergies, and she is always incredibly nice and careful about making accommodations for them.

“Visiting from Seattle my kids followed the bubbles, this stand is tucked away from the main part of market. We had the hallaca Venezolana for the first time (thats similar to tamale) it was soooo delicious! Also had the pan de jamon. I highly recommend! Going to go back to take some hallaca Venezolana back to our room. Friendly service!“
